Informa Markets is hiring a Remote Customer Experience (CX) Manager, Marketing Technology

Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Experience (CX) Manager, Marketing Technology with a strong CX or product management background, for our marketing platforms that manage £1bn of revenue for our events and media businesses.

The role spans the full customer lifecycle from first touchpoint in reading an insightful article via Google on our media websites, selecting career-expanding videos from our libraries, immersing yourself in learning and networking at an event, and sharing highlights with colleagues, plus all supporting digital and physical interactions (yes, including the emails and invoices!).

We operate at scale, with a passion to affect millions of professionals across thousands of products. The magic is forming a common CX backbone across all, and allowing the UX, UI and branding layer to be customised precisely for the needs of each specific niche brand. Take a look at the brands on informa.com and see the scale of the challenge and the opportunity!

Purpose of the Role & Team Profile

You’ll work in the Marketing Technology team, with skilled product managers, analysts, UX/UI designer and engineers. You’ll spearhead the customer experience across the marketing lifecycle, taking directions from business leads and strategists within Informa, and fed with data insights from our platforms and from usability and discovery sessions with customers.

You’ll work intimately with your UX and product management colleagues who own their specific platforms and products, in a way that unifies all into a single, clean and scalable customer experience. You’ll be high-profile, presenting and selling your ideas to senior stakeholders..

We’re not looking for individual website designers, though that’s a great background. Instead all our designs impact thousands of product websites directly, because we work at an industrial customer platform scale, developed by our world-class engineers.

Key interactions

  • Harness Informa’s wide network of brand marketers to understand their markets and customers’ needs.
  • Lead research with many of our customer types in different markets, to understand their motivations, needs and interactions, from which we develop personas, scenarios, and customer journeys.
  • Lead engagement with external customer experience agency.
  • Collaborate intimately with skilled product managers, data analysts, UX/UI designers and engineers in our Customer Technology team, to get the designs right and turn them into reality.

Key Areas of Responsibility/Accountability

  • Spearhead the customer experience across all marketing platforms from discovery to launch.
  • Ensure a unified and scalable customer experience across all platforms and products.
  • Incorporate quantitative data and qualitative feedback from everywhere and define success metrics and targets.
  • Manage wider stakeholders to gather insights, explain design concepts, and champion the resulting designs.

Key Outputs and Outcomes

  • Target customer experience model and design system covering full lifecycle and all customer types, that grows and refreshes continuously.
  • Usability test results.
  • Successful implementation of CX that delights customers and meets business objectives.
  • Demonstrable improvement in customer satisfaction metrics, revenue growth and margin improvement.

Measures of Success

  • Adoption and engagement metrics for redesigned customer experience.
  • Higher customer satisfaction scores and corresponding increases in conversion and revenue.
  • Simplification of current incoherent experience into tight experience with no duplication, and corresponding removal of redundant systems.
  • Positive feedback from stakeholders who recognise the improvements in approach and results.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in CX design, or as a product manager with strong CX experience.
  • Proven track record in media, digital products or events industries, not necessarily yet at this scale, showing you yearn for this role and will step up to it.
  • Experience is a plus in another industry such as finance, health and pharma, food and restaurants, aviation, technology or building industries.
  • Enjoy thriving with multiple opportunities and multiple challenges, confident to express and sell your ideas, and get things done. You will certainly have the full support of your manager, Head of Product Strategy.
  • Proficiency in UX/UI design and product management tools such as Figma and Jira, and techniques of personas, scenarios and customer journey maps.
  • Portfolio of the products you have designed directly or been instrumental in their design, and how they have been successful.
  • Adept across full journey of discovery with stakeholders, checking current data, leading high-level design, defining prototypes, running usability testing, iterating to the final design, and reviewing data and feedback once launched.

Lumos Identity is hiring a Remote Senior Solutions Architect

In 2011, Mark Andreessen famously said, “Software is eating the world.” 10+ years later, software hasn’t just nibbled, it has indulged in a lavish ten-course feast at a Michelin star restaurant. From Slack to Zoom to Figma, software is embedded in every company’s DNA. And while most just get to enjoy the benefits, there is one unsung hero behind it all: ????‍♀️ IT ????‍♀️

While being flooded with never ending IT tickets, they are also making sure Guy Fieri in Sales doesn’t buy yet another tool “promising” a 103% lead conversion rate. And burying themselves in spreadsheets to prepare the SOC2 report for when Gordon Ramsey from the Big 4 comes knocking. And can’t forget about Julia Child, the newest on-call engineer, who needs access to prod DB to investigate an incident. All of these workstreams are among spreadsheets, emails, Slack messages, and Zoom calls. But those days are numbered.

✨ Let there be Lumos

Lumos is building the first AppHQ for companies. In essence, we are creating the meta app, the source-of-truth for companies to manage all their apps.

Why Lumos?

  • ???? Rocketship Growth: In less than two years, our team has grown from 20 to ~80 brilliant minds across Canada, the United States and South America. Our customer base has more than 10x’d with some pretty incredible names like SiriusXM, GitHub, and Intercom.
  • ???? Backed by Industry Leaders: Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) has backed us since the beginning. We have a team of trusted advisors including Joel De La Garza (partner at a16z and previous Chief Security Officer at Box) and Leland Maschmeyer (the design thinker behind Spotify and Microsoft)
  • ⭐ Grow with us: You have the chance to be one of the first 100 people at Lumos. At Lumos, you will build your function from the ground up, get exposure to different aspects of the business developing a diverse skill set, and most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to pave your own path.

We are rewriting the IT playbook, one that better reflects our software eaten world.

As a Solutions Architect, you will be our champion bringing customers onto the platform, working closely between sales, customer success, product, and engineering. Furthermore, you'll gain leadership opportunities early-on, by helping grow the team and scaling our technical go-to-market motion, the product, and the company!

✨ Your Responsibilities

  • Architect deployments of Lumos for our most complex customers and assist the success team in driving customers to achieve a fully onboarded state.
  • Drive technical and process investments to scale our success and go to market teams, collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams, and increase our ability to implement quickly and support excellently our growing number of customers.
  • Contribute to the change management process required of our customers. Serve as a trusted advisor who helps navigate blockers to adoption.
  • Identify critical bottlenecks and automate the onboarding process. Shape our approach to the customer self-service experience. Build processes and documentation that allow customers to accelerate their time to value.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the market Lumos is a part of and use cases it supports. Report internally on market trends, customer success stories, and common issues & complaints you are seeing.

⛰ Your Skills

  • Technical Knowledge (SQL, Python): This role requires fluency in SQL and comfort reading python. Lumos is a highly technical product with a technical customer base, and you’re able to quickly acclimate to this environment. Sufficient knowledge of working in a terminal, database models, APIs, infrastructure, and frontend to debug problems, help direct engineering effort, and resolve issues.
  • High-Agency Customer Champion: You’re excited to work closely with prospects and customers, and are skilled at empowering others. Are empathetic and gain energy from interacting closely with customers. You’ll go the extra mile to make customers feel excited and supported when working with us. Yet you are also able to push back when needed, and can effectively influence others and objection handle concerns.
  • Analytical Builder: You start by understanding customer problems before proposing solutions. You enjoy working in ambiguity and are comfortable creating clarity and structure around you as needed. You are detail- and process-oriented. You think analytically to understand bottlenecks and what is the right problem to solve. When it’s time for solutioning, you push for automation, yet also know when to do things that don’t scale.
  • Excellent Communicator: Excellent commercial communication skills (written, oral, and presentation). Promote a sense of confidence about Lumos within customers and wow them in interactions! Translate business needs into technical requirements, and articulate product features in terms of customers’ goals.

????Pay Range

  • $140,000 - $180,000. Note that this range is a good faith estimate of likely pay for this role; upon hire, the pay may differ due to skill and/or level of experience.

???? What We Value

We’re looking for a generalist solutions engineer/architect, ideally with startup experience in B2B enterprise SaaS tech. Having said this, we care much more about your motivation and excitement to grow into the role than we care just about your CV.

Instead of focusing on what people need to have, we focus on what people need to do. Additionally, we try to find out whether you would be a good fit for Lumos based on our values that define how we achieve outcomes and what characteristics we value.

Thank you for considering Lumos! ????

Want to do meaningful design work at a mission-driven company, and have a real impact on the lives of millions of people working in retail? As a Senior Product Designerat Zipline you will do just that - solving complex and interesting problems that help retail workers keep their day on track.

At Zipline, our mission is to bring retail operations out of the dark ages and give companies effective tools that their employees love to use. You will help improve the way that this 4.4 trillion dollar industry communicates with its store employees and save them from sad, slow, inefficient systems (think fax machines, voicemails, and the postal service). People deserve better! We need your help to make this happen.

We are a well-funded market leader and have great customers, but there is so much more to do and improve. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to collaborate daily with product and engineering to drive concepts from idea to design to launch - balancing strategic direction with tactical execution to create high quality solutions our customers will love. You will dive deep into parts of the Zipline product, solving critical user needs and shipping solutions to challenging problems.

The user experience matters to us and our customers (Gap Inc, Allbirds, Lululemon, LEGO, and many more), and we want you to be part of shaping that!

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering on setting long-term goals and direction, balanced with the incremental steps it will take to get there.
  • Drive user research to better understand customer needs and gather feedback on concepts and solutions.
  • Design flows, sketches, prototypes, UI, visual design, and more that solves customer needs and problems.
  • Solicit feedback from your teammates and colleagues on the effectiveness of your ideas and design solutions.
  • Facilitate design discussions, drive alignment on solutions, iterate on use cases and constraints, and ensure a high-quality UI and experience for our users.
  • Execute quickly and efficiently, iterating and improving our product over time.
  • Contribute to improving team processes and operations as part of a remote organization - demonstrating good communication and collaboration through leading by example.
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive environment for the team.

Must-haves

  • 5+ years experience designing UX/UI solutions for desktop and mobile.
  • Outstanding portfolio showcasing a foundation in information architecture, UI & interaction design, visual design, and working with design systems.
  • Experience driving user interviews and concept testing with customers.
  • Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to develop the rationale, options, and execution plans for your features.

More about you

  • Retail experience is an asset, but not required
  • Proficient in tools such as Figma, Slack, Google Docs, etc
  • Ability to act with empathy and intentionality towards customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to listen, understand, share, and collaborate with your teammates.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and dependable.

Employee Benefits

  • Stock Options
  • Paid Flexible Time Off (including time off to care for family members, as well as Sick Time)
  • Paid Parental Leave Benefit
  • Group Health Insurance (Medical, Vision, and Dental) with a variety of PPO & HMO plans and a flexible spending account
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan
  • 100% Paid Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance

The “Extras”

  • Remote Work: Join a flexible, effective remote team and work where you’re comfortable- literally anywhere! We’ve had Zipliners join us from vans, RVs, sailboats, and AirBnBs around the globe.
  • Computer accessories and office setup: There’s a science to being effective at home and we help you get there with the right equipment and accessories that you need.
  • Company off-sites: Most years we come together (IRL!). Past retreats were held in Santa Cruz, New York, Mexico City, Puerto Vallarta, and Costa Rica.
  • Education stipends: We believe in perpetual learning! If there’s a class that you want to take or a book that will help you expand your horizons, we’ll support it, as long as it fits within our team budgets.
  • Coffee Stipend: To encourage breaks and a change of scenery, we provide a small stipend each month to get you out of the house and relax at your favourite coffee spot.

A note on our Flexible Time Off Policy - We don’t have a set number of “Days Off” at Zipline, and instead Zipliners request time off when and as they need it, under a Flexible Time Off Policy. Each request is then reviewed by your manager and a decision is made with all of the appropriate business considerations accounted for. Typically, we see Zipliners using 15-25 days per year, and it’s important to note that time off is not unlimited.

We value diversity of all kinds and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where we learn from each other. We are an equal-opportunity employer and welcome people of all different backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and perspectives.

Got More Time, here’s more about Zipline!

How do we work? Remotely. We have been 100% remote since the company was founded. We come together as a company every week for our Wednesdays Socials, where the topic can be a classic “Standup” format, a micro learning around burnout and mental health, followed by discussion, or a silly trivia…and anything in between! Some Fridays, we come together to learn from each other. One week it might be about opossum rescue. Another week it might be an update on our product roadmap or the results of our customer satisfaction survey. We are all expert Zoom navigators, and love the freedom of working from anywhere, using technology to connect.

With Zipline, retail employees feel more connected, understand the role they play in the brand’s mission, and can feel good about the work they’re doing. This is important to us because retail is one of America's most populous workforces but also one of the most underserved. Through Zipline, we can touch on one in four American workers whose jobs and needs are often underrepresented.

We have made incredible progress but changing the industry is hard. We are well funded by leading venture capital firms like Emergence Capital and ready to scale. We need your help to improve the way that this 4.4 trillion dollar industry communicates with its store employees. Cumbersome, slow, and inefficient systems should not be the status quo. Help us retool retail, and Keep Today on Track™

Lead Product Designer

AtticusLos Angeles, CA or Remote
Bachelor degreefigmaDesignc++

Atticus is hiring a Remote Lead Product Designer

About Atticus

At any given time, 16 million Americans are experiencing a crisis that requires urgent help from our legal system or government. The right assistance could transform their lives. But today, most never get it.

Atticus makes it easy for any sick or injured person in crisis to get the life-changing aid they deserve. In just three years, we’ve become the leading platform connecting people with disabilities to government benefits. We also help victims of accidents, misconduct, and violence get compensation from insurance. So far, we’ve gotten thousands of people access to over $2B in life-changing aid, and we’re just getting started.

We've helped more than 20,000 people in need (see our 6,000+ five-star reviews) and raised more than $50 million from top VC firms like Forerunner, GV (Google Ventures), and True Ventures. (We just closed our Series B round in May 2023, so we're well-funded for the foreseeable future.) We're small but moving fast — our team grew from 52 to 91 last year and we expect to grow again in 2024.

The Job

To provide a great experience for a client, we have to do a lot quickly: Understand their situation, identify their needs, give advice, match them with the right lawyer, connect them to that lawyer, convince both parties to work together, and formalize the arrangement — all while doing our best to make a complex and scary system feel simple, accessible, and human. We’ve had a great start, but need the help of an experienced product designer to make this experience even better for both clients and lawyers.

As a Lead Product Designer at Atticus, you’ll take ownership of user experience from the perspective of both audiences: client and lawyer. You’ll be embedded in the entire product development process, from conducting research to deeply understand and empathize with end users, all the way to working with our incredible engineers to implement beautiful, effective designs. This will be a high-impact, high-ownership role, and an opportunity to make a big difference in the lives of Americans struggling with disabilities.

While developing core user experiences, you will also have an influential role in creating systems and processes that will allow us to scale gracefully and maintain innovative and high-quality design.

Responsibilities

Deeply understand our clients and lawyers by planning and conducting generative research.

Partner closely with product and engineering teams to ship impactful, useful, and stunning features and products.

Own and understand testing and improvement of the experiences you design, through metrics and usability testing.

Work collaboratively with fellow designers to create scalable and effective systems as the team grows.

Provide and seek feedback from stakeholders and other designers to create a culture of open communication, and foster consistent, high-quality design work.

Build our brand by executing designs to a high level of polish and professionalism.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of product design experience, from user research through wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity and shipment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with accolades from product managers and engineers that you have worked with
  • Ability to understand complex problems, then create iterative, creative solutions and test those solutions
  • Ability to deeply empathize with a complex, overwhelmed, and often older user-base
  • Passion for simple, easy-to-use, and beautiful software
  • Expert with Figma and prototyping
  • A design portfolio with case studies is strongly encouraged (You can add a link in the space provided, or upload a pdf in the "cover letter" section)

Bonus / Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working at a fast-paced, growing startup
  • Experience with complex consumer services and/or two-sided marketplaces
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in design or related field
  • Skill and/or interest in branding, motion design, illustration, print

We are strongly committed to building a diverse team. If you’re from a background that’s underrepresented in tech, we’d particularly love to meet you.

Salary and Benefits

This is a rare opportunity to join a startup that has strong traction (substantial funding, well-respected backers, tremendous growth, and many happy customers) but is still small enough that you can have a huge impact and play a role in shaping our culture and growth.

We’re a certified B Corporation tackling a critical social problem. Our mission to help people in need drives everything we do, and your work here will touch many lives.

We offer competitive pay — including equity — and generous benefits:

  • Medical and dental insurance with 100% of employee premiums covered
  • 15 vacation days & ~19 paid holidays each year (including two weeks at end-of-year)
  • Free membership to OneMedical
  • $1,000 reimbursable stipend for education and training outside of work
  • Student loan repayment assistance, 401(k), and optional HSA
  • Free snacks, drinks, weekly lunches, and regular team dinners/events/retreats
  • Humble, thoughtful, smart, fun colleagues

We anticipate the base salary band for this role will be between $150,000 and $180,000 in addition to equity and benefits. The salary at offer will be determined by a number of factors such as candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.

Location

Today, about half our team are in Los Angeles or Phoenix (where we have offices) and half are fully remote and spread across the U.S. There are two options for this job:

  1. Live in Los Angeles, work a few days a week (or more) out of our beautiful office in the Arts District.
  2. Live wherever, work remotely, and travel to LA (on the company dime) as needed to be with your colleagues —somewhere between monthly and quarterly.

In short: You can do this job well remotely, and we’re committed to empowering everyone with flexibility. But we care a lot about building a great culture and we think some interactions need to happen in person, so we put a lot of thought into retreats, offsites, and other ways to gather.

Enterprise Account Executive

Lumos IdentityRemote
figmaB2BDesignslackc++

Lumos Identity is hiring a Remote Enterprise Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you’ll be the face of Lumos, working with some of the fastest growing, innovative companies in the world. As a customer-centric team player, you will play a vital role in the customer journey. You are motivated to build a significant book of business to help fuel growth and are the definition of a true partner - you get joy out of seeing your customers, company, and peers succeed.

✨ Your Role

Mission Driven:You have a passion for helping customers solve problems that truly add value. We’re on a mission to become the AppHQ platform for companies and you gain joy in working towards a common goal of delivering on a promise rooted in building a product that will fundamentally change how IT and security work.

Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Demonstrate excellence in finding, meeting and managing potential customers, deeply understand their goals, challenges and needs, and assess whether Lumos is a potential fit. You are the owner of the journey and know the details required to bring a deal from prospect to customer.

Pipe Builder: Pipeline building master, who is eager to control your own outcomes. You’ve had to generate and manage your own deals and can share dozens of examples of key logos you’ve sourced, managed and won! You’ll also partner with the SDR and Marketing team to build additional sales pipeline and drive the full sales cycle.

Discovery Champion:Natural curiosity, well…comes naturally. You know that stopping at the first answer is never the answer and that going deep into the caverns of a problem or goal will help you determine if you can truly help a potential customer. Ideally you have a favorite methodology, but uncovering motivations and how an evaluation cycle will unfold is table-stakes for you.

Value Based Demo Master:No feature function for you! You pride yourself on tying challenges, pain and goals to a solution and like to control your own clicks. Even for more technical demos where you partner with a sales engineer, you never take a back seat and are constantly finding ways to add value, tell customer stories and confirm you’re hitting the mark.

Collaboration:Be the eyes and ears for Lumos teams that are not customer-facing. Share insights and learnings from your sales conversations. Collaborate with Customer Success to build high-quality onboarding and customer experiences. Collect insights from sales calls for our product team. Work with Marketing to create and execute campaigns to help with sales strategy.

1% Better Every Day:There’s an ongoing passion to improve daily and take feedback that will help you succeed. You rarely have to be told the same thing twice and like to get outside of your comfort zone, because you know that’s where the magic happens.

Deep Caring:For your team and customers. Committed to your customer’s success long after the initial sale. Through personalization, responsiveness and tailoring a unique sales experience you have had past customers tell you they felt like they were your only account and wished you were their Account Executive for every software purchase.

Additional Items that will set everyone up for success:

  • Strong communication skills, operate with ethics, adaptability, grit and empathy
  • Experience working with IT, Security, GRC or similar technical buyers a plus
  • Have sold to companies +1000 and know how to navigate buying process at larger organizations
  • Nimble and want to be in a start-up environment where resources still need to be built or refined
  • Salesforce.com hygiene and deal management rigor, you know the tools that will help you win

???? What We Value

We’re looking for an Account Executive with experience in the B2B SaaS space. Having said this, we care much more about your motivation and vision to rethink and transform the sales experience in our industry, than we care just about your CV.

Instead of focusing on what people need to have, we focus on what people need to do. Additionally, we try to find out whether you would be a good fit for Lumos based on our values that define how we achieve outcomes and what characteristics we value.

Thanks for considering Lumos! ????

????Pay Range

Base $130-140k, OTE $260-280k. Note that this range is a good faith estimate of likely pay for this role; upon hire, the pay may differ due to skill and/or level of experience.

  • ⛑ Medical, Vision, & Dental coverage covered by Lumos
  • ???? Company and team bonding trips throughout the year fully covered by Lumos
  • ???? Optimal WFH setup to set you up for success

  • ???????? Up to (4) months off for both the Birthing & Non-birthing parent
  • ???? Wellness stipend to keep you awesome and healthy
  • ???? 401k contribution plan

We offer bundled services across offers, Mortgage, and Title, making buying a home more seamless.

Founder and CEO Tim Heyl, a 10-year industry veteran and owner of one of the fastest-growing agent teams in the country, started Homeward in 2018. Today we offer four services -- Buy with Cash, Buy Before You Sell, Sell Before You List, and Backed by Cash, in the 7 states we serve -- Texas, Georgia, Florida, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington.
