As Senior Finance Manager for Operations you will business partner with the Global Manufacturing Director to define and deliver the manufacturing strategy for 9 sites within Morgan’s Performance Carbon division. The role has overall financial accountability over the 9 manufacturing sites, including financial reporting, internal controls, accounting, FP&A and the management of finance teams at the sites. 
You will be responsible for the sites’ monthly results reporting, forecasting, and analysis for manufacturing and supply chain activities including gross margins, inflation, continuous improvement savings, manufacturing variances, scrap, and working capital analysis. Key KPIs would include savings in ‘cost of goods sold’, improvements in on-time delivery, improved footprint management, and capacity utilization. 

In this role you are responsible for providing overall leadership to the finance function at the sites. You will foster an effective internal control environment to ensure the financial integrity of reported results. 
You report directly to the Global Finance Director Operations, based in The Netherlands, you have 7 direct reports and a span of control of 25. Your direct reports are the finance leaders of 9 manufacturing plants (2 in the US and 7 in Europe/ UK). The revenue for these plants is around £140 Million. You will have full end to end responsibility of all the financials at the sites. 

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on operational tenacity with a strategic outlook. You have extensive experience as a finance leader and managing a remote team in different locations. Experience in a manufacturing finance environment and managing multiple sites is a must. 
Excellent communication and management skills, great decision-making capabilities and strategic analysis are key characteristics of the preferred candidate.
This is a remote/ home-based role but you need to be able to travel globally.

What the role entails: 
Business Partnering:
•    Partner with the Global Manufacturing Director, contribute to the development of all areas, financial and operational, to optimize the business’ performance, driving profitability and cash generation;

Operational:

Compliance and Control:
•    Work with financial staff, GBU Internal Control function, Morgan internal audit and external auditors to ensure a strong control environment across the nine sites;
•    Ensure manufacturing sites adhere to all internal controls policies and procedures and supporting the improvement of the controls environment.
People and Culture:
•    Lead and develop the finance teams and provide leadership to the accounting function;
•    Coach team members to enhance their performance and support their development;
•    Utilize lean tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness improvements throughout the business;
•    Support change and implement best practice initiatives within the business.
Environmental, Safety, Risk & Compliance:
•    Support the GBU operational EHS programs (specifically thinkSAFE).

Qualifications

What you need to bring:
•    5+ years in finance leadership roles:
•    Global leadership experience;
•    Due to the breadth of the role, you should be a solid finance generalist with a wide understanding of financial processes; 
•    Capable of handling issues that range in magnitude from the boardroom to the shop-floor;
•    Successful track record of business partnering and delivering business results;
•    Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality financial planning, reporting and analysis on time and that “adds value” to the business;
•    Track record of change management and up-skilling finance teams;

About the team + role

The Financial Operations group is primarily responsible for the firm's compliance with the SEC, FINRA and other regulatory agencies rules and regulations. About the role

We are seeking a skilled and intrinsically motivated Finance Manager with a passion for leveraging data to drive insights in the restaurant and hospitality tech space. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in managing our day-to-day financial activities, as well as providing financial and data-driven insights to the company’s leaders to help drive strategic business decisions.   • The individual in this role can be based in our San Francisco office or fully remote.  We also welcome candidates who are available to work from one of our warehouse locations in Phoenix, Atlanta or Indianapolis.  This role will require travel approximately 2x per quarter to our warehouse locations (5-10% of time).

Compensation and Benefits

Our anticipated compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, and the range below indicates the low end of the lowest-compensated market to the high end of the highest-compensated market. This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance. Salary Range
$182,000$194,000 USD

Join us! The Classy team is searching for a Finance Manager to help manage day-to-day operations and perform analyses of various situations. Corporate FP&A is the financial hub of Classy operations. We partner across the company to shape our financial profile, provide insightful and actionable analysis that empowers growth, and bring clarity and focus to our colleagues, leadership, and board. Corporate FP&A manages our centralized financial processes including the preparation of our quarterly results and forecast, budgeting and strategic planning, as well as management and board reporting.

We are looking for an experienced financial professional with a proven track record of financial analysis and reporting in B2B SaaS. This role will be a key asset in the growth of the company by partnering with other departments on key strategic initiatives through critical/creative thinking, planning, analysis, contribution of ideas, bringing attention/solutions to missed gaps, and preparation of related presentations, as necessary. You will be a good fit if you have had success: establishing trust across multiple functions, building, and executing against a strategic plan, and are tenacious in pursuing the “why?” This position is part of FP&A and reports to the Director of Finance.

The Job…

  • Partner with various departments to assist in understanding key drivers and influence business decisions to improve revenue growth and profitability
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze trends of key operational and financial performance indicators
  • Own preparation of various presentations to the Executive Team
  • Partner with Accounting and budget managers to ensure that the appropriate expenses are recognized
  • Manage FP&A operations activities around monthly reporting, company model actualization, variance commentary, forecasting, etc.
  • Drive and coordinate various portions of annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting processes to deliver predictable financial results, early warning of potential gaps, and timely identification and implementation of corrective action
  • Identify and improve efficiency and reporting accuracy through process improvement across departments

  • Minimum of 12 years of Finance experience in Enterprise SaaS; experience in a public company is a must
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Adaptive Insights power user with experience using Netsuite or other ERP systems
  • Self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and partner across the organizational structure.
