Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent degree.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated technical, IT, or Operations experience within a large-scale technology services environment in the following areas: Software Development, Application Support, and Infrastructure Support.
  • Working experience in AWS platform services such as Amazon Lambda, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon Elastic Container Services are required.

VA utilizes Drupal as an API which serves data to a number of systems. AsLeadRelease Engineer, you will co-lead the release team to uphold the highest standards prior to any production release, ensuring the protection of our productionSalesforce and NetSuiteenvironments among other integrated systems.   

    

Your responsibilities encompass coordinating end-to-end software releases, planning and scheduling releases, managing version control, and implementing automated build and deployment processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining environment consistency, acting as a central point during releasesby helping coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.

We’re looking for a teammate with:   

    

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software or business-related subject.
  • Experience of Salesforce.com - Required

    • Apex class knowledge (or strong experience with other similar languages such as C# or Java). Unit test best practices or TDD experience would be a plus.

Compensation, Rewards & Benefits:

The salary or hourly wage offered by Nextiva to external candidates considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, etc. Our compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Our estimate of the expected hiring range for the position as posted is $130,000 - $231,000. A different level in the job hierarchy may apply to a specific candidate resulting in a different hiring range.
