As an Inside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for the initial prospecting and qualifying of Sales leads. Gathering prospect/customer information which includes: researching the prospect’s company for industry information, competitors, compelling business events, key decision-makers, and important information needed to take the prospect to the next sales stage. What will you own?

  • Responding and qualifying incoming leads in a timely manner via telephone and/or email who have shown engagement through advertisement, direct mail, email and tradeshow interests.
  • Cold-call and email into targeted accounts, lists or personally researched contacts within a specified region/market to uncover and qualify opportunities
  • Take a “solution-selling” approach to active opportunities ensuring that each aspect of the Markforged platform is properly positioned to address customer/prospect needs and win opportunities
  • Build a network; research prospective clients through the use of web/social media, internal databases and external tools to identify leads
  • Utilizing company resources and existing customer references to build rapport and credibility to establish trust to further prospects along in the sales cycle.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate prospect and customer account activity and information in the Salesforce.
  • Provide ongoing Lead Development and nurturing strategies for prospects that are not currently ready to purchase.
  • Work closely with channel partners to ensure a great experience for prospective customers on their buyers journey.  Provide mentorship and share best practices with partners throughout EMEA
  • Working collaboratively with Channel Sales, Enterprise sales and marketing teams and all internal operations to support sales funnel to the sales team goals.
  • Professionally represent Markforged at all times, working positively and effectively with internal resources and external customers.

What you have:

  • At least 6 – 18 months of professional experience and/or training in an Inside Sales environment preferred.
  • Ability to understand and analyze customer requirements
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Ability to work with channel partners
  • Excellent networking skills, both internal and external
  • Familiarity with SalesForce CRM
  • The ability to function in a team atmosphere, appreciate aggressive goals, and have excellent organizational/time management skills is also desired
  • Demonstrated ability to work in rapidly changing startup environment
  • Ability to present in front of C-level prospects
  • High energy, enthusiasm and ambition to grow in your career

    Job Description

    Experienced inside sales representative will be responsible for outbound prospecting, pipeline development and revenue generation within assigned territory, consisting of a set of high growth, high potential sub foundations at the Linux Foundation. 

    Position Responsibilities: 

    • Developing opportunities from leads in addition to creating their own pipeline primarily through outbound calls, emails and social outreach to prospects and customers.

    • Quota achievement within their assigned territory while maintaining the territory pipeline in the Foundation’s Salesforce CRM. 

    • Accurate monthly forecasting and review business outcomes with project leaders and CRO. This includes win/loss analysis so we can iterate our approach based on our success and failures.

    • Deliver healthy weekly activity to achieve goals: calls, leads, demos, and opportunity progression

    • Manage sales order processing including monitoring the system to ensure accurate receipt booking of membership orders and membership onboarding. 

    • Practice Solution Selling techniques and employ a consultative sales approach

    • Coordinate closes with broader Linux Foundation team to achieve Foundation mission

    • Understand competitive landscape and adapt messaging and sales approach accordingly

    • Improve and maintain Salesforce structure for accurate sub accounts (groups/programs), opportunities and contacts.

    • Collaborates regionally and globally in developing/enhancing standardized processes, reports, and sales programs that facilitate efficient sales operations, effective sales execution, and improved management insight. This includes LF sales handbook is followed and/or modified when necessary.

     

    Qualifications

    Proven Track Record Required:

    • Consistent achievement of quotas assigned.

    • Experience selling via outbound prospecting and utilization of effective Salesforce and sales enablement automation to achieve results

    • Sustained territory performance in technology sales. 

    • Building relationships internally and externally to ensure win/win customer relationships. 

    • Managing and growing pipeline within specified territory.

    • Consistent success in environments where minimal marketing support is required to achieve success. 

    • Team player.

     

    Position Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred

    • 5 years successful inside selling experience

    • Excellent communication skill both oral and written
