ABOUT THE JOB

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on implementation, management, and support of products and plugins across the entire Atlassian suite of tools
• Provide recommendations to end users and leaders on best practices and standardization in implementing and leveraging processes within the Atlassian Suite

A Manager, QA Automation in Brightcove’s Global Services team is adept at designing, building, running, documenting, and maintaining a robust set of test automation presenting technical solutions to address customer and prospect business requirements. The role will consist of engaging development and QA resources to ensure proper test coverage for a wide range of applications.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about media and video who can take leadership in building and expanding the QA automation discipline within the group. The candidate must be highly motivated, technical, detail-oriented, team-oriented, creative, and possess outstanding communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Work in an agile environment with a team of engineers to create new products and services and enhance existing solutions and workflows
• Develop and maintain automated test cases for OTT media streaming platforms while prioritizing testing activities.
• Execute automated test cases and report results both locally and through remote automation pipelines
• Create new automation frameworks from scratch to handle new upcoming technologies
• Record and manage defects throughout their lifecycle in JIRA

Qualifications/Experience

• 8+ years of front-end software test automation experience working with Javascript
• 2+ years of people management experience

• Knowledge of docker containers
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment infrastructure for web applications and services

• Strong experience managing or developing large-scale B2C and B2B and/or B2B2C products
• Technical fluency on front end and back end software development, including video streaming technologies

• Account for the customer’s voice when making changes or improvements to the product. Consider customer needs by reviewing customer existing data in Power BI, Salesforce, and Pendo. Be proactive about requesting research from the UX research team and conducting competitive analyses as needed.

Compensation, Rewards & Benefits:

The salary or hourly wage offered by Nextiva to external candidates considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, etc. Our compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Our estimate of the expected hiring range for the position as posted is $115,000 - $178,720. A different level in the job hierarchy may apply to a specific candidate resulting in a different hiring range.

Within the Enterprise Applications Team is a Go-To-Market team whose main responsibility is to manage our Salesforce platform (Marketing, Sales, Service/Success) in addition to other platforms that support our CRM functional areas. 

What you'll do

As a Sr Business Systems Analyst, you are expected to be an advanced professional in the systems & process design and implementation space with strong Service/Success business process knowledge. The Business Systems Analyst will elicit, understand, and document the internal customer's business requirements, processes and workflows developing both written and visual depictions of requirements and process flows. You will also work with developers to create the functional specifications that meet those requirements, serve as a subject matter expert to the developers building those functions, and test the developed functionality. This role works closely with other Business SMEs, Developers, and Production Support through each stage of the software development lifecycle and also demonstrates both existing and new functionality to the customer stakeholders.
