About the Role:

At Bus.com, we run a high volume of trips every day but for our customers, it’s once in a lifetime experience. That’s why we work hard to deliver world-class customer service, around the clock.

You’ll be helping event organizers and riders use our platform, answer any questions and make suggestions on trip feasibility, pricing, availability, logistics, policies, etc. You’ll be on the front line for emergencies. You will process client issues & disputes. You will find creative ways to satisfy and impress customers through every interaction.

The day-to-day:

  • Answer all inbound inquiries about trips & services via multiple platforms phone, email and chat with a personal touch
  • Calmly and efficiently work through logistical challenges with clients, bus partners and internal staff
  • Think on your feet to troubleshoot concerns and devise creative solutions
  • Ensure that customer support KPIs are consistently documented and met
  • Understand and address the needs of customers, while maintaining tight collaboration with other departments to establish and improve our processes
  • Be the voice of users within the company.

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to remain level-headed and professional in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and creative problem-solving skills
  • Think and act diplomatically and address ambiguous situations with well-thought-out decisions
  • Excellent written and oral communication in both English and French
  • Comfortable and ready to work both individually and within group environments


  • 1-2 years experience in a Customer Service or client-facing support role,
  • Experience with Google Suite applications, Salesforce, Pardot, Jira, Slack
  • Interest in knowledge management and customer service
  • Experience in a startup environment


  • Bilingual (Able to both speak and write in English and French)
  • Possibly willing to work flexible hours including night shifts and weekends at times

Schedule & Salary

    Who You Are

    • 3+ years of experience in frontend software development on complex systems.
    • Expertise with frontend languages and technologies, such as Javascript, React, Redux, and GraphQL.
    • Experience in designing distributed services including micro-services, messaging design, and data design.
    • Exposure to backend toolings and technologies, such as Swagger/OpenAPI, JSON, REST, CRUD, GraphQL.
    • Experience with RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSQL, etc.
    • Experience with NoSQL such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
    • Some experience or exposure to AWS stack, including API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS, and DynamoDB (not required).
    • Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud and Azure (bonus).
    • Experience working with modern software development processes.
    • Experience with Jira, Agile, SDLC, CI/CD, Git, Code Reviews
