Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting profit and cost analyses 
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. 
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their financial viability and potential returns. 
  • Participate in business planning and development of financial strategies to achieve company objectives. 
  • Communicating financial performance, forecasts, and key insights to senior management, board of directors, and investors. 
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory authorities. 

 

 

Minimum required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field. 
  • MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) will be considered as a plus. 
  • Proven working experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance, or similar role. 
  • In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping. 
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management. 
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models Proficiency in accounting software. 
  • Solid analytical and decision-making skills Leadership abilities. 
  • Excellent command of English is required (C2 level certification desired. 
  • LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus) Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. 
  • Expertly numerate and able to work with Microsoft Excel to an advanced degree.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
  • Financial background check
  • Employment reference check.
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.

Your role within the team

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic VP of Marketing to lead our organization's marketing strategy. This role is ideal for a change leader and digital demand native with experience within the CPG environment. You will provide strategic direction, drive results, and lead a large marketing team to success.

Duties and responsibilities

Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our brands’ mission and objectives to increase brand awareness and market share for our pet nutrition brands including Zesty Paws and Solid Gold with consumer centric approach. • Drive innovation and change within the marketing function to stay at the forefront of the industry.
  • Lead marketing communication plans covering advertising, PR, digital, social media, and content strategies to engage target audiences to enhance the overall customer experience and loyalty.
