Laboratory Technician (m/f/x)

with the vision to match our ambition!

As a Laboratory Technician (m/f/x)in our Markranstädt plant you will perform the lab-scale R&D activities related to electrodes processing and lab-scale cells electrical tests by following the laboratory procedures and reporting guidelines.

Your main duties will be:

  • Execution of lab-scale R&D experiments according to development project plans, from material characterisation and electrode preparation to electrochemical cells testing.
  • Supporting R&D prototype-scale activities by pilot electrode density analysis, industrial cells filling, and materials preparation for pilot coatings.
  • Updating respective project’s pages/documentation according to the lab- and prototype-scale activities, including material CoAs and MSDS documentation.
  • Other position-related duties as aligned directly with the internal teams & management.

We are sure you are the one if you can check all of the boxes or at least 75% of the following requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with laboratory work in materials processing, testing and analysis, preferably in energy storage topics.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in materials science, chemistry or physics is preferred. Direct educational background as a laboratory technician is ideal.
  • Excellent attention to detail, expertise in chemical laboratory work & in handling hazardous chemicals.
  • Experience in battery industry would be a plus, specifically expertise in slurry, electrode and cell preparation.
  • Ability to accurately document test results while later utilising data for report creation & a thorough and methodical approach to work.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German would be a plus.

Job Description

To support the continued robustness of SNV’s internal governance, oversight and advisory of legal issues, we are seeking a part-time, experienced, and collaborative Global Legal Advisor to join the Global R&C Team. This role reports to the Global Legal and Governance Lead and collaborates closely with R&C Team members (mostly based in the Netherlands) as well as peers and senior leaders across SNV’s countries and operations.  

The Global Legal Advisor will provide contract review and legal advisory to all country offices, as well as legal coordination and corporate governance services to the Netherlands office.  

(Level of Effort estimates are indicative only) 

Contract Reviews and Drafting (50-60%): Perform contract review, drafting and advisory on Business Development contracts, partnership agreements, Memoranda of Understanding, Country contracts with partners, suppliers, donors, etc.  

Legal Advisory (25-30)%: Advise, asked and unasked, on country legal issues such as, property ownership, and constitution of new or closure of existing legal entities. Serve as an effective advisor or sparring partner for colleagues from peer functions on legal issues. 

Legal Coordination (10-20%): Coordinate relations and contract/account management with SNV’s external legal advisors, notaries, and related service providers. 

Governance (10-20%): Coordinate and/or oversee statutory records such as corporate registrations, filings, regulations. Facilitate corporate governance processes such as appointment and resignation of directors, shifting of registered office, compounding applications, etc. Ensure SNV has a license to operate in the countries it works in. Assure up-to-date Power of Attorney to Country Directors.  

Qualifications

Essential Skills/Experience 

  • Advanced university degree in law from a recognised university and successful passing of the  Bar Exam 
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in legal advisory and/or contract reviews/ drafting within a complex international environment 
  • Minimum 3 years’ solid experience in coordinating corporate compliance and accreditation processes 
  • High degree of fluency in English – Clear and concise communication (written/spoken) is essential 
  • Experience working in international and multicultural contexts  
  • Strong persuasion, personal authority, and diplomatic skills 
  • A flexible team player who is self-directed, detail-oriented, communicative, and a proven problem-solver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize the open pit mine planning and mine designs to improve ore extraction and balance waste stripping ratio with long-term mine planning requirements;

  • Eligible for Professional Engineering registration in the Northwest Territories;

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

 

  • Leadership: 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership roles with responsibility for major product lines, preferably in the low-code/no-code or related technology space. 

  • Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful product strategies and visions, with a keen ability to anticipate future technological shifts. 

  • Industry Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, modern development practices, and a forward-looking perspective on low-code/no-code technology evolution. 

  • Cross-functional Influence: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of inspiring, mobilizing, and aligning cross-functional teams towards shared objectives. 

  • Communication Mastery: Outstanding communication skills, capable of crafting and conveying compelling narratives to stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. 

  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, from a recognized institution.

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $163,000 - $285,200, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). ServiceNow’s Digital Technology (DT) organization leads the digital transformation of ServiceNow’s business functions. The Strategy Realization Office (SRO) organization supports this transformation by providing Program Management services. 

We are looking for an individual to join us as a Program Manager on the SRO team, where you will play a key role in planning and implementing complex, cross functional DT programs that directly support ServiceNow’s corporate priorities in the Developer Experience and Now on Now portfolios. You will get to work with amazing global talent, leverage ServiceNow’s great Agile products and take pride in being part of delivering excellent outcomes. 

What you get to do in this role: 

  • Partner with Business, Product, and Engineering teams on large, complex cross functional programs, and drive them from original concept through final implementation. 

  • Work closely with product leaders to transform their vision to roadmaps powered by ServiceNow toolset. 

  • Program leadership role to establish Product in-take process, prioritization, OKR alignment, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria for your programs ultimately ensuring value realization. 

  • Manage program risks, issues and dependencies and escalate impediments to meet program objectives. 

  • Provide transparent and forthright communications on your programs to stakeholders, sponsors. Simplify complex issues into a crisp, actionable executive-level status. 

  • Ensure adherence to processes, quality standards, and deliverables so that your programs are delivered with data driven predictability. 

  • Organize and facilitate cross functional meetings and workshops to align teams on business requirements, solutions, and delivery plans. Publish notes, actions and follow through to completion. 

  • Create and maintain process documentation where needed to promote best practices and leverage lessons learned. 

  • Define governance models, operating models for the programs being managed. Socialize and operationalize these models for successful execution. 

  • Act as a Scrum Master on one or more teams ensuring alignment with established Agile and Scaled Agile processes. 

  • Deliver hands-on coaching of individual Scrum teams in all aspects of scrum - daily meetings, planning, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, workshops etc. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have: 

  • 8+ years of experience as a Program Manager and Scrum Master in an enterprise software company. 

  • At least 5 years dedicated to managing enterprise level software application development programs. 

  • Experience managing complex IT programs that delivered applications used by internal or external users. 

  • Ability to dive into extremely complex, vague, and cross functional environments and map teams to plans. 

  • Hands on experience using Agile tools. Knowledge of ServiceNow Agile products is a plus. 

  • Strong facilitation, communication and influencing skills. 

  • Strong decision driving skills based on data and business benefit. 

  • Lean program management, continuous learning, adaptation, and improvement. 

  • Must enjoy working in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment. 

  • High energy, self-starter with aptitude for learning new technologies and ability to promote transformational change. 

  • Comfortable presenting operating & governance models, program plans, status etc. to large audiences and senior executives in person, virtual, and via webinars. 

  • Thrive in ambiguity with proven track record of out of the box problem solving skills. 

  • Lead from the front with a willingness to take on tasks that sometimes would fall outside of their scope to get the job done. 

  • Preferred – experience on projects and programs involving CI/CD automation, DORA metrics, developer productivity and Generative AI capabilities.  

  • Preferred – experience in organizing change adoption activities like trainings, and communications.  

  • Preferred - Engineering or Product management background (in addition to strong program management experience) 

  • Soft skills - Stakeholder management, Adaptability & Flexibility
