Head of Global Partner Marketing

 

 Why We Have This Role

We’re looking for an exceptional partner marketing and people leader to deliver commercial impact by creating leverage and alignment with our partner ecosystem to both generate demand and drive services and solutions to our customers. 

This person will lead the planning and execution of partner marketing initiatives for global partners including resellers, global system integrators and technology partners. Design, develop and execute marketing programs to help recruit and enable effective channel partners worldwide. Communicate and leverage Qualtrics annual business objectives into powerful marketing and sales campaigns that accelerate partners’ and their customer companies’ awareness and adoption of Qualtrics. Work with marketing team members in every region to leverage existing programs and to develop regional and in-field tools for partners.  Work collaboratively with channel management, channel partners, channel sales team, the local marketing teams, to support and accelerate all channel activities on a global basis.  This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building new capability to scale our business.

How You’ll Find Success

  • This role requires strong collaboration and relationship-building skills as you will be required to partner with Global Marketing, Global & Regional Sales Teams and the Partner organizations to execute Partner Marketing programs worldwide.
  • Possess an expert understanding of how to drive business and marketing with and through the partner ecosystem. Including knowledge of channel marketing programs, especially those aimed at increasing channel sell-through, and with demonstrated ability to help regions achieve success by leveraging products and services into localized programs and experiences.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and presentation. 
  • Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services required; enterprise software experience preferred.
  • Energy and creativity with an ability to think out of the box and engage people. Ability to create new ideas for marketing programs and help individual partners and internal team strategize and to deliver customer value.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

Things You’ll Do 

  • Leadership and management of the Global Partner Marketing team, including resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management
  • Develop, design, implement and measure marketing programs for ecosystem across all partner types (system integrators and technology partners across the globe in collaboration with the partner ecosystem team and marketing.)
  • Create partner-ready demand creation programs designed to drive new opportunities into the pipeline. Including working with the ecosystem team and product marketing to align joint solution messaging for go to market initiatives .
  • Collaborate with field marketing, product marketing and enablement to support partner readiness and certification.
  • Identify and develop effective marketing and sales collateral – using both internal and agency resources – for use on the Web site and in campaigns.
  • Manage the end-to-end market development funds (MDF) process including proposal management, review, acceptance/rejection and proof of performance.
  • Build a team of global and regional partner marketers to drive programs

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • 15+ years marketing experience.
  • 7+ years experience in channel marketing / channel program management.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing and/or communications, MBA preferred.
  • Channel-oriented sales experience in technology industry a plus.

For full-time positions,this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.

The Head of Marketing will be pivotal in driving growth for Scaled Agile, collaborating closely with the Executive Leadership Team, particularly the Sales leaders. This role will contribute to:

  • Shaping the overall marketing strategy for Scaled Agile

Qualifications

Primary Skills and Experience Needed

Preferred candidates will have at least five years of marketing leadership experience in a services or IP-based company and experience with lifecycle marketing, B2B and B2C.

Reporting to the COO, this position is a member of the Executive Team and contributes to the development of company strategies and goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

Strategic Marketing Leadership:

  • Oversee the creation of engaging, informative, and thought-leadership content tailored to the needs of our audiences. 

  • Develop website strategies that grow the company's online presence, increase website conversion, and feed the sales pipeline. 

  • Enhance and refine the digital advertising strategy. 

  • Analyze metrics across the Sales and Marketing teams and develop best practices that optimize performance. 

Customer Experience (CX): 

  • Oversee the Customer Service team and deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Continuously refine customer personas and map the customer journey to ensure our customers remain at the center of decision-making.

Sales Enablement: 

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop effective sales tools, presentations, and training materials. 

  • Support sales efforts through product training, objection handling, and coaching engagements.

  • Ensure consistent messaging, branding, and positioning across all Sales and Marketing channels and materials. 

Market Research and Analysis: 

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. 

  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and identify new opportunities for growth. 

Partnerships and Collaborations: 

  • Identify and establish partnerships with healthcare providers, rehabilitation centers, and advocacy groups. 

  • Identify co-marketing initiatives and joint ventures to expand the company's reach and impact.

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration (MBA preferred), or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • 8-10 years of experience with multiple facets of marketing: digital, content, product, B2B, and B2C. At least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry, with a focus on customer acquisition.  

  • Marketing agency experience (preferred). 

  • 2-3 years of hands-on AAC device experience (preferred). 

  • Applying new technologies (e.g. AI tools) to streamline processes (preferred). 

  • Sound command of best practices in digital, product, B2B, and B2C marketing techniques. 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
