What are we looking for? 
As a marketing intern, you will work with our close-knit marketing team to accomplish our 2023 goals! You will manage social media channels, contribute content to the CareerPlug blog, and learn how to research prospects and other marketing projects! 

This is a great opportunity to learn more about marketing in the software industry and get a broad perspective of responsibilities on a marketing team. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, self-motivated, cares about the details, and eager to learn in a fast-paced and innovative environment.  

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Manage social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Research and write articles for the CareerPlug blog 
  • Learn how to research prospects for targeted outreach campaigns 
  • Attend marketing meetings and contribute to brainstorming and discussion
  • Complete special projects as needed 
Job Requirements:
  • Able to work at least 10-15 hours per week
  • An excellent writer, previous experience writing/copyediting articles preferred 
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently in a remote workplace 
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Pursuing a degree in marketing, communication, advertising, or similar preferred
  • Video editing experience is a plus!

Go Fish Digital is seeking a Marketing Analytics Intern who is confident in aggregating and analyzing data. The Marketing Analytics Intern will provide support to our existing analytics clients to give them more robust website data collection and better reporting. This role will report to our Analytics Manager and work with them to execute ongoing data strategies.

  • Assist in setting up basic tags in Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Assist in migrating events to GA4 (Google Analytics 4)
  • Create GA4 accounts for new websites and applications
  • Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards and reports in Looker Studio
  • Work with team members to analyze data and provide insights to improve website performance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You must have all or some of the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program in a related field such as computer science, marketing, data science, or statistics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools and technologies, such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager
  • Ability to use visualization tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for digital analytics and staying up-to-date with industry trends

Location, Hours & Pay

This is a part-time internship with flexible hours. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in the field of web analytics and develop skills that will be useful in a wide variety of roles within the industry.

Our office is located in the heart of downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, just above the YMCA building. We offer a flexible schedule, so you can work both remotely or in the office.

We are also open to fully remote positions for the right candidate!

Interns will be paid hourly at a competitive rate commensurate with experience.

Jackbox is a small game studio (~70 people) best known for our Jackbox Party Pack franchise: a set of five social party games released every fall. Since 2014, our games--like Quiplash, Drawful, and Trivia Murder Party-- have been featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, by Polygon, and in living rooms and finished basements across the world.

In 2020, we had over 200 million users. And we have hard evidence that one of those users was Academy Award-winner Charlize Theron.

What’s the Job?

We have a small but mighty marketing team that could use some support launching The Jackbox Party Pack 9. The Content Marketing Intern will report directly to the Marketing Editorial Lead and be responsible for generating engaging content that represents the brand and helps promote our games.

This internship is intended to allow you to explore your creative marketing interests while sharpening your professional skills to set you up for a successful creative career.


  • Help draft copy and source relevant images for social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Collaborate with Marketing Editorial Lead on short video ideas for social media channels (particular emphasis on TikTok and Instagram reels)
  • Help edit videos for social channels
  • Track analytics on social posts on a weekly basis, compiling a short report on best and worst-performing posts. Critically analyze these posts with the team and use that knowledge to inform future post ideas.
  • Identify opportunities for blog content using marketing analytics tools.
  • Create detailed descriptions for graphics/illustrations needed from artists for upcoming sales and events.
  • Attend meetings with our PR team and help Marketing Editorial Lead deliver any assets they need for press opportunities.
  • Write copy for email newsletters and blogs as assigned.

Ideal Candidates Will Have...

  • Strong writing skills. Drafting copy will be a major responsibility. We are looking for someone with strong grammar and spelling abilities, along with a knack for writing in a humorous, light-hearted tone.
