Programmer en 3D n’a plus de secret pour vous ? Vous rêvez de découvrir le monde de la robotique ? Alors, rejoignez-nous et écrivons le futur de la robotique ensemble.

Au sein de l’équipe R&D logiciels utilisateurs, vous développez notre moteur 3D robotique. Vous êtes en charge de sujets stimulants et innovants : animation des robots, simulation, détection de collision, trajectoires… Dans ce cadre, vos missions sont les suivantes :

  • Participer à l’élaboration des nouvelles fonctionnalités (spécification, choix de l’architecture, développement et tests)
  • Assurer l’ergonomie des interfaces 3D
  • Proposer de nouvelles idées créatives sur les évolutions logicielles conduisant à des solutions innovantes
  • Réaliser une veille technologique

Vous contribuez également à l’amélioration continue du service

Mobilité : Déplacements occasionnels à l’international 

Qualifications

Formation : BAC+5 en ingénierie, une spécialisation dans le développement logiciel

Expérience :3 ans minimum dans le développement logiciel 3D, idéalement dans le domaine industriel

Connaissances particulières :

  • C#
  • API graphiques DirectX ou OpenGL
  • Mathématiques et algorithmes liés à la 3D
  • La connaissance du C++ est appréciée
  • HOOPS est un plus

Langueétrangère : aisance en anglais

Qualités :Rigueur, créativité, curiosité

Job Description

In this volunteer position you will be developing Shaders, Lighting, Particles, Optimization Work and Visual Effects (FX) for The Lays of Althas: Sundered Order (LoA:SO), an open-world Fantasy RPG being developed in Unreal Engine 4 (UE4).

OpenGL and Git experience isn't required, but is recommended.

Communication is key to a smooth and efficient pipeline, you must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with other team-members and not be afraid to ask should any problems arise. We are an English-speaking team, so English fluency is a must.

Other duties include: attending Slack meetings (Slack is an instant messaging we communicate with), reporting your progress to the Level Design team on a weekly basis and following team policies.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Unreal Engine 4 experience, and experience with creating Shaders, Lighting, Particles, Optimization Work, Visual Effects (FX) and more within it
  • Online communication, team-collaboration skills, and English fluency
  • A passion for coding and a dedication to creating AAA quality games

Job Description

As a leader for this team, you will own the artery of video that runs through our entire product.  You will be responsible for ensuring our customers are able to easily create, upload, or broadcast video content to a robust product that will have their content ready for sharing in seconds. You’ll ensure customers have a quick and feature-rich in-product editing experience to polish their content. Finally, you’ll ensure that our viewers have a stable and high-quality multi-stream viewing experience. Throughout all of this, you will define a roadmap for how we’ll continue to improve the product with cutting-edge technologies, develop partnerships to continue to grow our ecosystem, and you’ll build the team to deliver on this vision. 

This is a manager role, taking over an experienced team with multiple senior/principal engineers. You will define and execute a hiring plan for your org that will allow the team to meet the needs of our rapidly growing business and allow everyone on the team to contribute their highest and best impact.  You will also mentor and drive the growth of the talented engineers on your team. 

Qualifications

Your experience and knowledge of software engineering, technical architecture, and video technologies will allow you to lead efforts to identify, prioritize, and improve architectural problems that exist in the current codebase. You will provide guidance and a plan for maturing our codebase and systems to allow our teams and the engineering organization to efficiently grow. Ideal candidates have a strong attention to detail and desire to get to the bottom of how things work, a drive to take action and improve things where they can, and a natural focus on ensuring an excellent customer experience. If you’re interested in working on a rapidly evolving system loaded with interesting challenges and complex problems, we want to talk to you. You don’t have to check all the boxes, but these are some of the skills and experiences we think are important for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent amount of experience or training in the industry
  • Multiple years of experience working on complex projects in a professional environment, preferably with a focus C#, C++, or Java development
  • People management for teams of 4+ engineers, including senior and staff/principal-level ICs
  • Running operations for highly available (tier one) services.  Best practices for logging, metrics, monitoring, real-time debugging/diagnostics, and alarming
  • Project management, stakeholder communication, and communication with non-technical teams
  • Technical expertise in distributed and scalable system architecture
  • Learning, technical curiosity, ability to rapidly build expertise in new areas and new technical stacks

  • Building high-performance code and performance tuning
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience running both Windows and Linux systems in production
