DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Incident Handling: 

  • Handle complex application-related issues from customers and partners, using advanced communication channels including telephone and ticketing system. 

  • Handle complex and highly escalated cases, involving detailed analysis of various factors. This entails developing and refining solutions for both new and unique challenges by employing solution-centered support methodologies that include analyzing, testing, and problem-solving.

  • Escalate issues as necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

  • Ensure that support incidents are resolved in line with established Service Level Agreements.

Documentation and Communication:

  • Document all analyses and correspondences meticulously throughout the issue resolution process. Provide proactive status updates to customers, maintaining transparency and trust.

Knowledge Base Maintenance:

  • Efficiently search and maintain the QAD Knowledgebase. Update it with solutions to customer issues, ensuring it remains a valuable resource for problem resolution.

Mentoring and Team Assistance:

  • Provide mentorship and training to Functional Analysts, fostering professional development and skill enhancement. Lead in sharing best practices and developing innovative solutions, enhancing the team's overall problem-solving capabilities.

Continuous Learning and Adaptation:

  • Engage in ongoing learning and practice of existing product knowledge. This is vital to stay prepared and responsive to new and evolving issues in a dynamic technological environment.

Developing Training Content:

  • Create educational materials and training content to enhance the team's skills and knowledge, focusing on addressing complex and escalated case resolution.

Qualifications

  • A University or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Logistics, Production Operations/Manufacturing Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may also be considered.

  • 5 plus years of experience in the software, manufacturing, distribution, or accounting industry is preferred. Experience using and supporting any ERP (QAD, SAP, Oracle ERP, Ms Dynamics 365) or other business software applications is desired. Proven track record in a Customer Service/Support capacity.

  • Essential debugging/troubleshooting skills, including proficiency in navigating Unix, Windows, Internet, and networks, are required. Additionally, programming knowledge for troubleshooting in languages such as C, C++, Unix, Progress, Oracle, SQL, Java, or XML is highly beneficial.

  •  

    Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. This includes the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner. Strong documentation skills, with the ability to accurately and effectively convey information in writing.

  • Demonstrated ability to continually learn and adapt to new products and technologies.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join our growing Tax team.  You will be responsible for providing tax provision, compliance and planning support as well as process improvements to scale tax operations. This candidate should expect to work cross-functionally and collaboratively and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.  This position will report to the Tax Manager.

The Instacart Tax Team assumes responsibility for minimizing the Company's tax footprint through effective tax planning and risk management, while consistently ensuring we adhere to all compliance obligations. About the Job

  • Prepare the quarterly and year end global income tax provision calculations.
  • Support the quarter- and year-end close procedures, including the preparation of tax account reconciliations
  • Support SOX compliance through documentation and timely performance of controls
  • Work closely with FP&A to support the quarterly/annual ETR and cash tax forecast processes
  • Support special projects, such as R&D tax credit studies,, due diligence for M&A and international expansion
  • Support the evolution of the tax reporting function, tax technology tools, and technological enhancements
  • Assist with the data collection and preparation of income tax return workpapers or returns and related audits. 
  • Conduct tax research to analyze the income tax implications of new tax legislations or new business initiatives. 
  • Assist with ad hoc requests and projects as necessary.

 

About You

Minimum qualifications

  • 3+ years tax compliance and accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and in-house experience in ASC 740
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
  • Sufficient knowledge of US income tax laws and regulations related to multinational corporations
  • Proactive and resourceful team player with positive attitude and energy, close attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a dynamic high-performance environment with strong willingness to learn and grow
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), financial and economic analysis skills
  • Proficient computer skills including strong working knowledge of Excel and aptitude to learn new software

The Team

As a key member of the Systems Administration team within Operations Engineering, you will be responsible for the administration and operations of the global cloud infrastructure that runs our SaaS product. Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with Linux (RedHat and/or CentOS)
  • The ideal candidate will have expert-level skills and background in systems administration and engineering, understanding of the components of a cloud infrastructure including hardware platforms, OS, applications, databases, networks, web and application servers. Prior experience in Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps and managing large-scale server infrastructure at a cloud computing or MSP setting is highly desirable. Strong Linux expertise is a must.
  • Working level knowledge of one: Perl, Python, JavaScript
  • Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, MariaDB, or similar technologies; proficiency preferred
  • Expert-level skills and experience with service troubleshooting in a production environment covering web front-end, Systems, Databases and Networks.

About the Role

As a Strategic Financial Analyst Contractor, you have the ability to both operate at the lowest level of detail and consider the big picture to drive strategic and investment recommendations. You have exceptional analytical capabilities, excel in data-driven decision making and are a clear confident communicator. This role will report to the Director of Strategic Finance and support the entire Opex team.

 

About the Team

The Strategic Finance Team is dedicated to supporting our business partners to make sound financial and strategic decisions that lead to profitable growth, operating efficiency and continued investment in our 4-sided marketplace. The Opex team in particular focuses on operating costs, including headcount and non-workforce expenses.

 

About the Job 

  • Own monthly update of support materials for forecast model and forecast slides
  • Drive refresh of monthly business review materials, including Eng Scorecard and Actual vs. Forecast variance commentary
  • Optimize and maintain monthly T&E reporting, including developing Team Jams tracker for scalable distribution
  • Serve as tooling point of contact to retrieve underlying data for monthly deliverables and ad-hoc requests (e.g. Workday, Oracle, Adaptive, Expensify)
  • Perform ad hoc financial modeling and analysis

 

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Business or other related field
  • 3-5 years work experience in a relevant field with demonstrated financial acumen and a track record of leveraging data for business impact
  • Highly proficient in Excel modeling with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use data to identify and quantify opportunities for growth or profitability improvement
  • Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about complex business problems, developing frameworks and providing recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience in consulting, investment banking, or Strategic Finance at a high-growth technology company preferred
  • Experience working with Adaptive, Oracle, Expensify, or similar is preferred

Missions :

Dans un environnement en mouvement et donc stimulant, vous serez amené(e) à :

Manager à savoir :

¤ Gérer une équipe de 15 personnes et adapter les moyens aux missions à réaliser.

¤ Développer l’équipe à la fois au niveau de ses compétences techniques et du savoir être

¤ Définir les plannings et veiller à ce que les échéances externes et internes soient respectées

Il supervise :

¤ L’ensemble des travaux déclaratifs fiscaux et veille au niveau de la qualité des données déclarées

¤ Les arrêtés trimestriels des comptes, et assure la qualité des données remontées en lien avec le service contrôle de gestion

¤ La correcte tenue courante des comptabilités

¤ Les pointages et justifications des comptes et notamment les rapprochements de banque

¤ Identifie les zones de risque en lien avec la Direction comptable Groupe, il est force de proposition des contrôles à réaliser et leur documentation

Il est amené à aider l’équipe en réalisant lui-même une partie de ces travaux quand il le faut.

Il veille à :

¤ La coordination de la réalisation des missions des prestataires externes comme les commissaires aux comptes et assure les échanges avec ces tiers.

¤ La bonne prise en compte des besoins de nos clients internes que sont les autres services et Directions transverses.

Dans le cadre de notre projet de transformation de ces outils, et principalement dans le cadre de la future migration sur l’outil ORACLE CLOUD :

¤ Il apporte de la valeur ajoutée à la construction de la solution, en veillant à ce que les besoins du métier soient bien couverts.

¤ Il participe activement à la conduite du changement que cela implique pour les équipes en adoptant une posture proactive et de leader.

Qualifications

Fort d’une expérience de 10 à 15 ans dans les activités de comptabilité et fiscalité en cabinet d’expertise comptable et/ou entreprise, vous êtes un/une professionnel et manageur accompli. Votre sens de l’investissement, des responsabilités et votre professionnalisme ne sont plus à démontrer.

Vous maîtrisez les outils du pack office en particulier Excel. Une connaissance des outils yourcegid, as400 Anael, et surtout Oracle cloud serait vivement appréciée.

  • Meticulous analytical skills to identify and understand the root cause of critical issues.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Networking technologies such as routing, switching, DNS, load balancing, and CDN is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of BASH, Python, Perl or other scripting languages.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
