Here is a short description about the app that has already been developed. 

Our application is a hybrid mobile app for members of NGOs to communicate directly with their favorite organizations, sign up for events, donate to the campaigns for the causes they care about, manage their memberships and assigned tasks.  

Total app screen count is about 20. We have the basics of the application but are planning to add more features and enhancements on the current product.

- Sign up using Email/OTP

- Simple messaging to send message to NGOs

- User profile and settings
- Join Events
- Donations

This is a fast moving project so we need someone who has strong experience in Hybrid Mobile App Development. You will be expected to develop the designed UI/UX. We need more pages built and integration with AJAX APIs has to be done for all pages.

Skills required Ionic Framework, Angular JS, MySQL DB, Firebase for Notifications. PHP is a Plus. UI Skills: HTML, CSS, Java Script

Responsibilties:

  • Analyze, develop, enhance and maintain software applications/products and tools. Includes creation of design specification, development and unit testing of source code, review of source code, schema design, prototyping, helping other developers understand designs, and documentation. 

  • Create automation tools to improve internal processes.

  • Manage and enhance processes used for continuous integration, automated builds, source code control and test environment set-up. 

  • Review and identify improvement opportunities within the full SDLC that will lead to higher quality and more efficient processes. 

  • Document and communicate areas of concern for development operations.

  • Serve as a source of architectural and technical domain knowledge for the QAD product line and the tools that support it. 

  • Provide training/mentoring to O&M and A&E engineers.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree: BE/ B Tech/ MCA/BSC-IT, Computer Science.

  • 1-3  years of Architecture and Engineering experience. Infrastructure and administration with the focus on Linux

  • Highly preferable: Ansible, GIT, Jenkins, Python

  • Preferable: Icinga, Zabbix, CloudWatch, Salt, Rundeck, C#, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, PHP and XML

  • Driving through customer strategies in often complex, mixed technology environments.

Description

Security Operations CenterEngineers provide premium-level support for Cloudflare’s security products and features. Our largest and most technically sophisticated customers will contact Support for assistance and intelligence in dealing with threats or attacks on their infrastructure at OSI Layers 3, 4, and 7. This will span the range of Cloudflare security products from Magic Transit Infrastructure Protection, DDoS mitigation and Network Firewall, to using the Web Application firewall (WAF), Spectrum, Bot Management and Rate Limiting to help customers.

Security Operations CenterEngineers analyze threats, make detailed and informed suggestions for mitigation and may need to implement mitigation strategies directly on behalf of the customer. The team also provides attack reporting beyond Cloudflare’s self-service reports.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and investigate the alerts to identify attacks
  • Work with Engineering and Operations teams to mitigate attacks, suggest steps to mitigate, and apply the appropriate mitigation, when applicable
  • Work with Engineering and Product teams to improve the products and tools
  • Communicate with customers via chat, email, and phone 
  • Review the latest alerts to determine relevancy and urgency. Create new tracking tickets for alerts that signal an incident and require review or escalation
  • Configure / Manager security monitoring rules and contribute to tool improvements
  • Compare traffic signatures and attributes including IP addresses, cookie variations, HTTP headers, and JavaScript footprints to determine what is good traffic and what is malicious
  • Previous DDoS mitigation for OSI layers 3,4, & 7 is a must: filter malicious traffic using Cloudflare tools like Magic Transit, Network Firewall, WAF, IP reputation lists, packet inspection, blacklisting, whitelisting, and/or rate limiting

Key skill sets

  • Modern internet protocols like UDP, TCP, etc.
  • Advanced understanding of iptables
  • Analysis of traffic for attack anomaly detection and creation of mitigation rules
  • Experience in handling attack mitigation and thorough knowledge of various attacks (L3/4 and L7)
  • Previous knowledge of Cloudflare Security Products & Features
  • 4 years of technical support experience and customer support experience is a must
  • Strong communication skills with high-value customers under attack
  • Command line / Bash shell
  • Sysadmin skills (Linux/Mac/Windows) & Programming skills (Python, Ruby, PHP, C, C#, Java, Perl, Git etc.)

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

  • For Colorado-basedhires: Estimated annual salary of $105,000 - $129,000

  • For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $126,000 - $154,000.

Purpose

  • Implements and maintains code for product features

Skills and Eligibility Requirements

  • 4 or more years of experience in a software engineering/development role

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Front end development using HTML5 / CSS and modern javascript.
    • Creating templates for campaigners to create petitions and other campaigning tactics.
    • Advising on tools/tactics and product design
    • Leading usability and accessibility efforts
    • Providing day-to-day support to campaigners and organizers 
    • Building standalone experiments/prototypes with diverse platforms and technologies.
    • Completing projects on time, while ensuring they meet stakeholder expectations.
    • Collaborating with designers and campaigners, building excellent relationships and results.
    • Making sure our systems collect data in an organized and useful way, making sure stakeholders are aware of what’s possible and how to achieve it.
    • Reducing workload for campaigns by automating and simplifying their work.
