Role Overview

ON24 is seeking a Director of Product Management to help drive the product strategy and revenue goals of ON24’s offerings. This person will be responsible for the planning, creation and delivery of new and existing products and product capabilities. This includes gathering and prioritizing product requirements, refining the product vision, and working closely with a cross functional team to deliver new and enhanced solutions in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have experience with SaaS software with experience in product development, be a strong communicator in both written and verbal formats and be well versed in Agile development processes.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve the product roadmap for their areas of ownership through analysis of market trends, competitive data, and customer input
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs for areas of ownership
  • Define and develop new products and features.
  • Translate product vision and priorities into detailed product requirements.
  • Manage product rollouts by participating in cross-functional teams, helping to produce product collateral, and training/communicating to stakeholders.
  • Track product utilization and adapt the roadmap/backlog accordingly.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and delivery teams.
  • Provide product expertise and consultation to sales and customer services teams.
Skills & Experience
  • 7-10+ years of product management experience with tech companies.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering B2B products/services to market.
  • Proven ability to transform abstract requirements into shippable product.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong background of effective communication with a variety of roles (technical and non-technical)
  • Ability to execute on both tactical and strategic levels
  • Understanding of Sales and Marketing software products, processes, and Marketing/Sales generated data
  • Experience working with UI/UX Design teams and customers to deliver top notch experiences
  • Product marketing experience a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of SaaS software development and Agile processes.
  • Understanding of Sales and Marketing software products, processes, and Marketing/Sales generated data
  • Passion for technology with a technical understanding of web marketing, online applications, and internet services markets.

  • Clearly communicate strategy and goals across the company throughout all phases of work, from ideation to measurement.
  • Demonstrated skill in product leadership, including coaching product managers, product planning, feature prioritization and trade-off evaluation.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform product success 
  • Drive improvements to our existing products and identify opportunities for new product ideas 

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in product management, preferably in consumer facing environments, 3+ years in a leadership/ management capacity
  • Strong business acumen, with a solid technical foundation and appreciation for design
  • Innovative problem solver who can quickly grasp concepts and drive ambiguous problem into clear solutions
  • Demonstrated skill at product planning, including product definition, feature prioritization and trade-off evaluation
  • Loves making data-driven decisions and gaining insights from product metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations

Job Description

Purpose 

The Director of Product Management is responsible for guiding the success of Intelerad products across the customer journey and for coordinating efforts with all internal parties participating in the land-adopt-expand-renew cycle. The Director of Product Management defines the overall vision, strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for their portfolio. 

The Director of Product Management possesses a unique blend of business and technical knowledge, a big-picture vision for the product based on detailed familiarity with its users and current capabilities, and the drive to make that vision a reality. The Director of Product Management spends time in the field to understand the client’s problems, and to come up with innovative ways of solving these challenges while maximizing business outcomes. This position represents the voice of the customer and business stakeholders within the organization, ensuring that Intelerad solutions deliver unique value based on customers and market demand. The Director of Product Management is accountable for the success of Intelerad products across the customer journey, both in terms of P&L and successful adoption and usage of the solutions. 

 

Major Accountabilities 

Strategic Participation 

● Define the overall vision and product roadmap of their product portfolio; 

● Perform in-person and remote surveys of external and internal market stakeholders (customers, prospects, marketing, product specialists, R&D, and the business); 

● Identify core market problems to address and new business opportunities; 

● Set clear goals and objectives to measure the success of new products / features;

● Clearly articulate the business value to the product team so that they understand the intent behind the new product / feature; 

● Justify investments in new areas / products / features; 

● Contribute to the evaluation and recommendation of any potential 3rd party relationship decision for

● the product (“Build vs Buy vs Partner decision”). 

Product Release Planning 

● Identify and understand the market’s expectations, preferences, aversions, and most relevant problems; 

● Translate gathered information into use cases and functional product backlog items;

● Plan for release’s scope and timeline and clearly communicate these to product teams;

● Prioritize the product backlog items against strategic priorities, goals, and objectives;

● Coordinate all required activities to successfully bring the new product / feature to market, including 

bridging gaps between different functions within the company and aligning all the teams involved, namely product marketing, customer success managers, sales, services; 

● Work closely with the product marketing team to support the development of successful go-to-market strategies;

● Manage the dependencies in and across releases to complete release phases and milestones. 

Product Leadership and Success 

● Ensure internal and external feedback and requests are seamlessly integrated and prioritized into the product planning and development processes to maximize customer satisfaction, business outcomes, and revenue potential; 

● Communicate the status of ideas back to the clients, partners, and internal team members who submitted them; 

● Educate internal and external interested parties, by responding to questions from customer-facing teams, participating in the on-site, conference, and web-based product demonstrations, aiding in the response of RFPs when necessary, etc.; 

● Foster a culture of innovation and encourage sharing of information and ideas;

● Determine which ideas should be promoted into features to push the strategy forward;

● Consolidate and track product performance reports to guide the success of products and aid in the preparation of strategic market reports for upper management.

Qualifications

Employment Prerequisites 

● Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, technology, or related field 

● Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in product management for software development. 

● Direct experience in a customer facing role with demonstrated ability to gather complex customer requirements 

● Demonstrated ability to influence and lead large, complex projects and initiatives from concept to delivery 

● A sound understanding of enterprise-scale technologies, including applications hosted on the cloud and software as a service (SaaS) 

● Experience working with Agile and Scrum development methodologies and acting as a Product Owner with teams 

● Exceptional communication and organizational skills combined to demonstrated collaboration skills with many different levels and departments of the organization

What we need from you:

  • 5+ years minimum of experience in product management, including management of product managers;

Job Description

As Vendavo continues to expand our portfolio of cloud-native, SaaS solutions, we are looking to add a Senior Director Product Management to our existing team. This person will manage a team of product managers that manage part of Vendavo’s SaaS product portfolio. This person, and their team that they manage, will work with in a very cross-functional process that includes product marketing, user-experience, engineering, sales, marketing, and professional services to prioritize and drive new products and features through the product development life cycle, all in a fast-paced, agile environment. The Senior Director Product Management will sometimes need to be “hands-on” with product management responsibilities but will, more often than not, operate in a people management and cross-functional leadership role. This position can be partially or completely virtual/remote, and may be based in a US or European time zone for optimal coordination with team members in both the US and Europe.

  • Lead a team of product managers (and their respective cross-functional teams) who are responsible for parts of the Vendavo SaaS product portfolio
  • Oversee key aspects of Vendavo’s go-to-market framework and processes for bringing innovative SaaS solutions to our target market
  • Help direct and set product strategies, objectives and set KPI targets
  • Oversee and direct the activities necessary to accomplish the company’s product strategies and commercial objectives such as bookings and revenue growth, profitability, and customer/revenue retention.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with your peers in management across the organization when appropriate
  • Serve as an advisor and trusted partner to the Chief Product Officer and Senior Leadership Team to ensure the product teams are operating efficiently, achieving their goals and remaining aligned with the rest of the business

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in hiring, team-building and high-performance team management, ensuring those around you can be successful.

BROAD FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:

As Director, Product Management at JDRF, you will be a key stakeholder for all digital products on the JDRF digital eco-system. Job Description

The Director, Product Management is responsible for building and leading Indigo’s product management team and driving the digital vision from inception to launch. This role owns the strategy and execution for new and existing products related to Indigo’s digital ecosystem as well as defines the vision and structure for product management at Indigo. Recruit and facilitate cross-function teams of (internal and external) User Experience (UX) experts, product developers, and Business Analysts (BA) to:

Qualifications

  • A good understanding of the adverting and marketing technology space as well as how data and analytics can optimize client outcomes

As a leader in our Product team, you will wear many hats: managing and cultivating a high-performing team; understanding, defining and executing our product roadmap for workforce management; driving user research; supporting M&A efforts; working closely with our design and front-end teams to deliver consumer-grade superior UX; and collaborating with other product management and development teams to drive measurable business outcomes cross functionally.

You will join a team with a culture of data-driven decision-making, action-oriented, disciplined experimentation and innovation in one of the most fascinating areas in human capital management, which you will help evolve. You will define and drive our go-to-market approach in the time & attendance space, defining our differentiation, messaging, client acquisition, and channel strategy.

Additionally, you will be at the center of our outbound product activities. You will work closely with clients and partners to understand their needs and ensure their success; with our sales, support and implementation teams to accelerate time-to-value, increase client satisfaction, and manage product P&L; as well as our strategic partners defining new value propositions to bring to market.

As a Senior Director of Product Management, you’ll...

  • Apply strategic thinking to deliver end-to-end product capabilities with a focus on business outcomes specific to payroll and employee pay.
  • Leverage your knowledge in the time & attendance space, and HR-tech in general to define and drive strategic product capabilities that differentiate Greenshades offerings.
  • Understand and define the compliance and regulatory requirements of the time & attendance platform.
  • Lead a team and partner with UX designers to translate business requirements into use cases and high-level customer experience requirements.
  • Embrace a discipline approach to P&L and KPI tracking, data-driven decisioning and prioritization by leveraging analytical tools.
  • Master user behavioral analytics to drive in-line interaction, end user engagement, controlled experiments and new feature rollouts.
  • Build extraordinary time & attendance solutions that help employees maximize their engagement with work, optimize scheduling based on preferences and policies, helps managers scale their ability to manage workers, accurately track time and costs and more; through consideration of market research, business requirements, strategic partnerships customer feedback, and UX research findings.
  • Create, nurture, and grow a strong, high-performing Agile development product team obsessed with continuous improvement and predictability.
  • Work closely with our marketing and sales team to define strategy, differentiation and messaging; drive outbound activities including public speaking, client interactions, blogging, collateral development, etc.
  • Track and improve P&L performance for Greenshades time & attendance products.
  • Bring an external point of view into competitors, industry & market trends and client signals as they relate to payroll.
  • Help drive M&A activities as needed, spanning due diligence, integration and execution.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, product management peers, marketing, and other leaders to execute against your strategic product objectives.
  • Adopt, adjust and develop product management best practices at Greenshades and serve as a mentor for other product managers.

For this role, we’re looking for...

  • 6+ years’ experience in product management in the HR-tech, ideally in the time & attendance space
  • Proven track record as a team manager (recruiting, mentoring, grooming and promoting direct reports)
  • Deep domain knowledge of the time & attendance and payroll space, with a good understand of compliance requirements
  • Experience or familiarity with payroll platforms, particularly around integration with time & attendance
  • Experience delivering mobile-first or mobile-only products, spanning responsive web UI to native mobile app for Android and iOS platforms
  • Familiarity with time clocks (virtual or physical)
  • Experience in agile development, ideally as a product owner, with good grasp on key concepts such as OKRs, KPIs, predictability and velocity
  • High comfort level in working in ambiguous environments with a clear, evidence-based, articulated and opinionated stance on your prioritization and decision-making process
  • Experience tracking product P&L, ideally in a SaaS company.
  • Ability to connect design decisions back to business outcomes, and to work cross-functionally across engineering, UX, sales, support and implementation to help flesh out user needs, and deliver intuitive solutions.
  • Proficiency in user testing, behavioral analytics, experimentation and research methodologies.
  • Extraordinary communication and leadership skills, including the ability to clearly explain product decisions and the importance of adopting a disciplined product execution approach. The confidence to speak your mind and the eloquence to do so effectively.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Miro, Jira, Azure DevOps, Figma, Power BI, Splunk, Pendo.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft tech stack (.Net, Azure) is a plus
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, including a strong inclination towards rapid iteration based upon user feedback.
