  • Ability to talk to customer stake holders and impress/influence them with enterprise experience and knowledge 
  • Relevant experience for the type of projects being hired for
  • Able to understand customer pain points and address customer escalations and concerns
  • Able to understand the need for projects to be profitable and negotiate with customer on maintenance and CR pricing.

About the Job

  • Responsible for project management of cart deployments across retailer stores, encompassing initial requirement collection through to assured on-time execution 
  • Identify and implement enhancements to drive efficiency and accuracy in the hardware requirement gathering process
  • Develop comprehensive 90-day Deployment Plan, strategically balancing concurrent deployment demands with resource allocation
  • Highlight and navigate conflicting priorities and efficiency or cost trade-offs within the Deployment Planning process
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication, ensuring that all prerequisites are addressed to have a successful deployment
  • Develop, publish and maintain a dynamic Deployment Schedule, in close collaboration with Hardware Maintenance
  • Monitor the execution of the Deployment Schedule and proactively flag risks to facilitate corrective adjustments
  • Assess ongoing initiatives and make recommendations for schedule and resource optimization across maintenance and deployment initiatives

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Project Manager who will be responsible for coordinating the successful implementation and enhancement of Business Systems technology and software solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in leading projects related to Salesforce implementations and integrations and a proven track record of successfully collaborating with 3rd party software vendors and implementation consultants.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $104,000 - $163,000 (base salary)  + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end project management for software implementations, including planning, execution, testing, training, monitoring, and closing phases.
  • Collaborate with internal collaborators and solution architects to collect requirements, define project scope, and establish project timelines and deliverables.
  • Act as the point of contact for 3rd party vendors involved; ensuring deliverables are met according to agreed-upon timelines and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and change control logs.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-implementation reviews, to ensure alignment and visibility across all collaborators.
  • Clearly communicate project status, milestones, and dependencies to our Internal Center or Excellence committee.
  • Monitor project budget and resources, ensuring projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by developing efficient operational processes and frameworks where none exist or promoting process and system improvement where vital.
  • Work with the Business Operations - Systems Director to help with over all Program Management within the organization.

Main duties

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of multi-client/projects, varying in size, complexity, and deliverables. Primarily focusing on delivering e-learning assets, translations, and consultancy workshops.
  • Creation and management of detailed project plans and all associated resourcing, revenue generation, budgets and invoicing
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers within your portfolio, facilitating and leading internal and external communications
  • Identifying and managing risks and changes in project scope effectively, collaborating with all core stakeholders
  • Assisting in pre-sale activities, including cost estimations, solution input, planning, and pitch support
  • Ensuring accurate forecasting and maintaining regular project governance
  • Providing mentorship and support to other Project Managers and colleagues

The ideal candidate will have;  

  • Experience in Project Management within digital corporate learning, digital media, or tech sectors (agency, learning solutions, software, websites, etc.)
  • Minimum of four years' experience managing multiple complex projects for large brands/companies.
  • Minimum of one year's experience in line management or leading/coaching Project Managers or similar roles
  • Proven track record of managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, including extensive knowledge of budget creation and management
  • Thorough understanding of various project and programme management tools and methodologies
  • Experience of proactive project governance, including risk and change, at both project and programme levels
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
