So, what is a Senior Project Manager?
Job titles can be an enigma these days, so let’s break it down a little!
Main duties
- Managing a diverse portfolio of multi-client/projects, varying in size, complexity, and deliverables. Primarily focusing on delivering e-learning assets, translations, and consultancy workshops.
- Creation and management of detailed project plans and all associated resourcing, revenue generation, budgets and invoicing
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers within your portfolio, facilitating and leading internal and external communications
- Identifying and managing risks and changes in project scope effectively, collaborating with all core stakeholders
- Assisting in pre-sale activities, including cost estimations, solution input, planning, and pitch support
- Ensuring accurate forecasting and maintaining regular project governance
- Providing mentorship and support to other Project Managers and colleagues
Rest assured, you won't need to be the creative force on the team. We have dedicated experts in learning consultancy, design, technical aspects, and quality assurance to deliver exceptional services to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Experience in Project Management within digital corporate learning, digital media, or tech sectors (agency, learning solutions, software, websites, etc.)
- Minimum of four years' experience managing multiple complex projects for large brands/companies.
- Minimum of one year's experience in line management or leading/coaching Project Managers or similar roles
- Proven track record of managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, including extensive knowledge of budget creation and management
- Thorough understanding of various project and programme management tools and methodologies
- Experience of proactive project governance, including risk and change, at both project and programme levels
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

- Able to travel to face-to-face meetings with clients, typically in the UK/Europe, and flexible to accommodate some out of hour calls for our overseas customers

Location – Remote or Hybrid
Our new headquarters is in the Bristol area (The Paintworks). We offer a mix of home and office working because we believe both are necessary for a high performing team. We know you need some time to concentrate and avoid constant commuting, so homeworking is essential, but we also feel face-to-face time is important too.
We work in a Hybrid way with ideally 2/3 days per week in the office and the rest of the week worked remotely. We offer flexible working options also to help find the right work-life balance for you.
We currently have main offices in the UK in Bristol and in Europe in Berlin.
