About the role:

The Account Development Representative (ADR) job is the launching point for an individual looking for a successful career in SaaS sales. In this role, you will be at the front of Samsara’s go-to-market strategy. This includes hunting for leads, mapping enterprise accounts, and building demand for Samsara’s full line of products. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop enterprise technology sales skills and to advance their careers. Successful ADRs earn accelerated commissions and head down the path for promotion into closing roles. You will work closely with top-tier executives and will see up close how sales organizations succeed. 

This Summer 2024 role will be based in our Atlanta office on a 3-day hybrid schedule (Tuesday - Thursday).

During this internship, you will:

  • Learn about the sales funnel and observe the full sales cycle - from generating a lead to closing a deal
  • Manage inbound lead flow, qualify leads, and distribute them to appropriate sales representatives
  • Execute outbound campaigns to engage potential customers and generate new leads
  • Identify and map organizational structures to pinpoint key decision-makers within prospective accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product-focused marketing campaigns that support sales objectives
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Graduating no more than 12 months after their internship

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Genuine interest in sales and customer-facing roles
  • Ability to engage and connect with customers
  • Curious about understanding customer needs, preferences, and challenges 
  • Passion for IoT and a desire to learn about Samsara’s products and solutions

LeadMinders is hiring a Remote Sales Development (Remote, Full or Part-time)

Job Description

This is a remote position for someone who has extensive experience in Sales Development and appointment setting targeting Senior Executives in corporate accounts.

Sales Development Reps (SDRs) develop and manage prospects for our B2B clients with emails, phone calls, social outreach, and setting up appointments. You need experience navigating corporations and nurturing prospects.

Qualifications

The SDR will perform the following duties:

  • Manage Prospects – make phone calls, send emails, and track results in CRM into a targeted list of companies. Provide materials and follow-up as requested.
  • Set up appointments and meetings for LeadMinders’ clients with C and VP-level Executives
  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Operations and/or Client both written and verbally on the status of the project and any project issues
  • Provide feedback on what’s working: messaging, approach, process, metrics, systems, target market, and audience
  • Maintain required activity levels dictated by Management
  • Follow the processes outlined in the Call Guide and LeadMinders training program.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Lead Generation, Sales Systems, and Methodologies
  • 1+ years of experience in a sales-related position - handling prospects & managing leads
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Has previously worked from home and understands the requirements of a home office environment
  • Technically savvy – must be very adept at using technology and troubleshooting issues
  • Self-motivated and knows how to manage time well
  • Be available to work during normal business hours
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Successful completion of formal sales training programs in selling techniques or telephone sales skills
  • Fluent in English
