Senior Software Engineer, Node.js will work with business development, data, and product teams to solve tough problems and challenges through development and automation. Our team culture is a unique combination of structured vision and process maturity. In this role you will be developing innovative cloud solutions, and you will be involved in maturing our CI/CD deployment pipeline.


Essential Functions and Specific Responsibilities:


The following are intended to be examples of the accountabilities for which the person in this position is responsible.   • Participate in development planning and prioritization of work for the Scrum team
  • Collaborate in development and testing of features of our roadmap to enhance our cloud platform
  • Help drive the underlying technology stack
  • Implement cloud-based systems from technical design with well commented and well tested code
  • Drive performance tuning and automation
  • Create and drive better metrics, monitoring initiatives to gain valuable insights from the Wondersign cloud services
  • Embrace and institute best practices and coding standards within the team
  • Compose detailed design specifications
  • Contribute in research technologies and fast prototyping
  • Troubleshooting all build and deployment issues
  • Actively participate in retrospectives to improve Agile/Scrum practices

Required Education and Experience:

  • BS Degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Cloud Development certification is desired
  • 7+ years in related technology role
  • Demonstrate understanding of cloud design in the areas of global infrastructure, distributed systems, security and load balancing
  • Experience developing Cloud applications with API management and distributed microservices based architecture
  • Experience with data modeling for NoSQL data patterns
  • Expertise with AWS Cloud technologies
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience with applying Open-Source software in an enterprise
  • Experience with both NoSQL and SQL database technologies
  • Experience with programming NodeJS, Angular, Python, C#
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on delivering high-quality documents

Job Description

DMS is seeking a Program Manager/Senior Instructional Systems Designer (PM/Sr. ISD)to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of instructional design principles, project management methodologies, and adult learning theory. The PM/Sr. ISD will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of high-quality learning solutions that meet the needs of our client. The position requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of instructional materials, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training, virtual classrooms, simulations, and other learning resources.
  • Apply project management methodologies to oversee the entire instructional design process, from needs analysis and content development to leadership seminar implementation and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and project team members to gather requirements, define learning objectives, and determine the most effective instructional strategies and delivery methods.
  • Design and develop engaging and interactive learning experiences that incorporate multimedia elements, assessments, and simulations to enhance learner engagement and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in instructional design supporting federal and Department of Defense customers, with a focus on project management and leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and team members.
  • Proficiency in instructional design software and authoring tools, such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training via live, virtual, blended, e-Learning and Hybrid methods.

Role:

As a Senior Software Solutions Engineer with the NationsBenefits Fintech Partner Integration Team, you will be key to integrating new retailers and point of sale (POS) vendors with NationsBenefits’ new healthcare payment platform. You will work closely with internal and external engineers and architects to design and integrate robust solutions. You will heavily leverage your knowledge and experience in retail POS and payment systems. You'll work with a team of skilled engineers to create, integrate, and enhance innovative healthcare payment solutions serving millions of people every day. Preference given to candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dallas, and the Miami/Fort Lauderdale areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and consult on the integration of high-quality, scalable, and efficient technology with an extensive network of retail partners and POS vendors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-company teams, including product managers, architects, and software engineers, to understand requirements, design solutions, and develop features
  • Assist with the onboarding of retailers and POS vendors to be able to successfully integrate with and leverage the NB health care payment solution
  • Participate in code reviews, QA sessions, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality, performance, reliability, and overall solution availability

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of solution design and engineering experience for enterprise systems, preferably in the retail POS and payment industries, is required

Our POS system is evolving and our customers are demanding more product capabilities and more flexibility with the current feature set. As a member of the Technology team, you will have the chance to work on some of our current product's Android features to help deliver and iterate on solutions that meet these demands.

Our current stack is built around React Native! We are looking for an experienced developer with a similar mindset to join our team. As a member of TouchBistro, you will be a part of a close-knit group of experienced developers with a birds-eye view of all software development activities at TouchBistro. Our mission is to make our developers productive and fearless, to reduce toil, and to remove obstacles from our product development teams, while building the best restaurant software available in the market. We act as a force multiplier for the teams writing software for our customers.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Create features using Typescript that are robust, well designed and tested 
  • Collaborate with lead developers to ensure features are implemented in an efficient, testable and scalable manner, and providing code reviews for the team
  • Analyze, define and break down feature work into small shippable components and help lead estimation efforts on your team
  • Ensure quality through building automated tests (unit / end to end) 
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices and tooling from the Android community
  • Participate in daily and weekly scrum ceremonies
  • Openly collaborate with your team to solve problems and learn from failures
  • Fix it! Ship it! Own it!

All About You

  • You have 3-5 years of experience developing React Native Android apps in a production setting 
  • You have at least 2 years of experience developing applications in a production environment.
  • You have extensive knowledge and experience with Typescript/Javascript, React Native, Redux, Native Modules 
  • You have experience with Jest, Git, Gradle, Yarn, Native APIs for Android 
  • You have experience with networking and RESTful APIs 
  • You have experience with SQLite or similar relational databases 
  • You have experience working in large monorepos, modular codebases with multiple developers, enforcing design patterns and good practices
  • You have experience maintaining or consuming continuous integration/deployment pipelines
  • You have experience with observability systems (we use Datadog and Sentry)
  • You have exceptional communication skills 
  • You have experience working on teams in an agile-scrum environment

Nice to haves

  • You have knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and SQL

The WorkWave Team is seeking a skilled and capable Engineering Manager to guide a team of talented developers in building modern web applications. Qualifications

  • University qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven capability in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in managing software development teams in an agile environment, coupled with at least 5 years of hands-on full-stack development 
    OR 
    7-8 years of experience in full-stack development, accompanied by strong leadership acumen.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in .NET Core, React (or other JS development), and MSSQL.
  • Proven ability with scaling systems in a cloud environment (AWS) would be an added advantage.
  • Proven ability with message-based architectures will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams across geographies and time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability working with engineering managers, QA managers, and product owners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
