Qualifications

 

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience in (product specific area)
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and working with Sales counterpart to guide execution excellence
  • Travel, as necessary

 

For positions in New York City, we offer a base pay of $149,250 to $246,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.   Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • 8+ years of Pre-Sales Solution Consulting experience

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, and software development life cycles. Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or other enterprise platforms is a plus.

About the role:

We are on the lookout for a Solutions Consultant to join our team in the US. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, energetic and a solution-focused leader with strong technical skills and background. 

As part of your day-to-day, you will be communicating and demonstrating the value of our solutions and owning all technical aspects of the sales cycle. You will work collaboratively with a high-performing sales team to uncover customer needs, priorities, and develop value-based use-cases and account engagement strategies. You will leverage your technical and business skills and work in conjunction with Sales, Implementation team, Customer Success, R&D and Product Management as a key business advisor and product advocate for our solutions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Present our solutions in a clear manner to both technical and business audiences
  • Work with Sales Directors, meet with clients, and deliver technical insights for business questions regarding the sales process
  • Help remove barriers with potential prospects by clearly articulating Forter’s integration technology, and helping scope projects with a relentless drive for quality
  • Define and present solutions architecture based on the customer needs
  • Prepare and deliver solution messaging in an effort to highlight Forter's value proposition and unique differentiators

What you'll need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role with an enterprise b2b product
  • Solid understanding of the payments industry and/or working with cloud technologies and APIs within the e-commerce / retail vertical
  • Superior analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • The ability to build strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders
  • Proven analysis and problem-solving expertise
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Experience delivering presentations and demonstrations to senior level business and technical audiences
  • Ability to learn and assimilate technical information quickly

Salary Range: $120,00 - $155,000 annually + bonus + equity + benefits

What you bring

  • You have a strong consultative approach and can show examples of where you have brought credibility and critical thinking together with commercial acumen to understand client needs, build rapport, and provide strategic recommendations
  • You have had demonstrable success as a solutions consultant in collaborating with sellers and winning complex opportunities.
  • You are experienced in analysing and assess complex customer requirements effectively
  • You have an adaptable and creative approach to finding solutions to problems
  • You have strong technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn, understand, demonstrate and analyse software solutions
  • You are an excellent storyteller, with extremely strong written and verbal presentation skills. You are able to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner
  • You are self-motivated and self-directed; able to work independently as well take a leadership role working with internal teams / stakeholders
  • You are familiar with the EOR, payroll, contractor management and global HR technology landscape
  • You are able to construct detailed, value based presentations and solution demonstrations

Key Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate and partner closely with our sales team to help understand, quantify and address customer business goals and requirements
  • Develop a deep understanding of Remote's product offerings and technical capabilities, and communicate the value that these can bring to specific customers
  • Lead consultative engagements with prospective customers, exploring their technical and business challenges, and focusing on articulating the value of Remote’s multiple product offerings
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our customers, demonstrating thought leadership and industry expertise to provide nuanced and insightful recommendations
  • Partner with and advise internal cross-functional teams including sales, product, marketing, customer success and sales enablement to ensure a seamless buyer experience and a successful implementation of solutions
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices and challenges faced by our customers in global and distributed talent employment strategies

The base salary range for this full-time position is $39,655 USD to $89,180 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
