In this role, you  will serve as the administrator of our core ERP (NetSuite) as well as peripheral financial systems (inventory, payments, expense, etc.), and will create and manage integrations between systems. As the Business Systems Analyst, you will serve as the technical point of contact for financial applications, data integrity, system configuration & testing, report writing, and troubleshooting. What You Get To Do Every Day

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of integrated financial systems such as NetSuite, Corpay, Navan, and TrueCommerce
  • Manage incoming tickets and support inquiries
  • Address system integration issues and resolve data synchronization errors
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to maintain Master Data within finance systems, including items and vendors
  • Assist in translating business needs into system improvements through data pipelines, business process adjustments, configuration, and customization
  • Collaborate with Data/Data Engineering teams on relevant projects, such as middleware implementation between business and accounting systems, and integrating various data sources into NetSuite while ensuring downstream impacts on Accounting functions like GL, AP, and AR are supported
  • Fulfill user requests for data reporting across financial systems
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts in reporting, forecasting, and accounting activities by leveraging automation, system enhancements, data quality initiatives, consolidation efforts, and quality improvement endeavors
  • Other necessary tasks as required

What You Bring To The Role

  • 3+ years demonstrated proficiency with progressive business systems in a diverse or rapidly evolving environment
  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role with NetSuite OneWorld, encompassing user management, master data oversight, configuration, customization, workflow/script upkeep, and user support
  • Proficient in Excel, with an intermediate level of skill, capable of fulfilling reporting requirements including saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Proven track record of interpreting business needs and facilitating optimized utilization of business systems through requirements gathering, documentation, and end user training
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to and effectively drive/execute change initiatives
  • Focus on process optimization; possess a visionary outlook with the capability to apply pragmatic solutions and navigate through uncertain situations

As a Senior Manager, Broadband Grants and Data Analytics, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the Broadband Grant Office on all issues concerning the analytics and addresses and Broadband Serviceable Locations (BSLs) necessary for broadband grant applications, maintaining, and protecting Brightspeed’s service territory through challenges to grant programs, and regulatory filings with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
  • Serve as lead project manager for the broadband grant team for the technical project plans needed for applications and broadband regulatory filings
  • Support the Government and Legislative Affairs team on broadband issues pertaining to grant programs and matters impacting broadband builds before state administrative agencies, state legislatures, and local authorities
  • Advise the business on complex matters regarding broadband grant programs, including drafting processes, business analyses, and risk assessments as needed
  • Serve as trusted advisor to management and cross-functional teams on broadband grant addressing and mapping
  • Provide direction, analysis and input on address reporting and management associated with reporting for Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF), grant compliance and other address related programs
  • Deliver complex messages clearly and persuasively to regulators, government stakeholders in multiple states and technical/business audiences
  • Support the legal department with analysis and mapping for litigation efforts and processes

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with experience in state or federal broadband grant programs and/or telecommunication regulatory filings

How You’ll Find Success

In the United States, we have a flexible hybrid work policy for employees who live within 30 miles of our office headquartered in New York City and our office in Seattle. Employees within the New York and Seattle metropolitan areas are expected to work from the designated office twice a week, unless there is a job-specific requirement to be in the office every workday. The Department: Finance

The Financial Operations and Accounting Teams at Gemini are thought leaders in the digital asset accounting and finance space. Our mandate is to bridge the traditional world of finance with the innovation of cryptocurrency products, providing our clients with a best-in-class financial institution experience.

The Role: Analyst, Finance Transformation

Gemini is seeking an entry-level associate with a drive to operate in a high-growth environment and strong experience in financial operational accounting and data analytics. The ideal candidate should have engineering and data analytical skills besides excellent attention to detail, passionate about enabling the financial close process with data efficiency and transformation, and an ability to communicate complex data with a wide array of stakeholders to integrate into the accounting standards and process to enable financial close. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technical and operational accounting to understand the financial information requirements to optimize the process and enhance financial close and reporting.
  • Collaborate with external & internal stakeholders (Data Science, Product, Compliance, Marketing, Customer Experience, Engineering etc) to gather the necessary information, trouble-shoot data, perform data analytics, automate workflow and deliver reports, as applicable, to support the Financial Operations team in financial close.  
  • Create Financial Operations requirements documentation, milestone mapping, prioritization, and communication to facilitate project collaboration & executive readouts.
  • Create thorough financial operational specs, data transformation and efficiency, project plans to enable financial close acceleration, and roadmaps.
  • Contribute and implement various data transformation initiatives including recommending and implementing process improvements for existing business process flows and systems.
  • Document program status and rapidly identify issues / risks. Succinctly communicate issues to relevant stakeholders and proactively collaborate to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in Data Management and Analytics including Data Flows, Scorecards/Dashboards, Data Analysis, Master Data Management, and Reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDb, Cassandra etc.); and scripting for automation.
  • Proven track record of supporting simultaneous multiple data needs while meeting department deadlines in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Experience working through ambiguity to communicate clear accounting positions and operational solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $66,000 - $83,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
