Your Daily Impact as a Security Engineer

In this role you will be responsible for working to tighten security controls, manage and tune existing security platforms and work to respond to threats while cutting out the noise.

Incident response, contextualizing vulnerabilities, and threat hunting are all parts of this role, but we’re keen to engineer scalable solutions and fixes, not just respond to existing threats.

You will be working and communicating closely with many technical teams to develop context and foresight into what our true risks are, and work towards holistic longlasting remediation with guidance and real world solutions. Our goal is to create a cohesive balance between risk, operational effectiveness, and compliance.

The ideal candidate for this team is someone who is a strong, interested, well rounded engineer with a passion for security as well as a natural collaborator who can understand business needs and develop security solutions that empathize with people's experiences.

Your Experience and Expertise

  • BS in computer science / cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, information security operations or related IT operations
  • Strong experience in Linux administration
  • Strong scripting experience. (Python preferred)
  • Substantial experience experience in threat hunting, offensive security, or platform security
  • Fair experience in AWS, GCP, or both
  • Good networking fundamentals

Nice to Haves 

  • Ability to provide a sample portfolio or work examples is highly preferred
  • Varied security engineering experience with a specialty in one or more areas of security such as: (Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Penetration Testing / Offsec, DevSecOps, Third Party / SaaS Security, Identity and Access Management, Incident Response)
  • Experience performing security / architecture / code reviews
  • Hackthebox, CTF, or Hackathon experience
  • Good hands-on background in building tooling using many security products
  • Terraform / IaC experience
  • Kubernetes / Container experience
  • Controls and Standards knowledge (SOC2, NIST CSF, 800-53, CIS)
  • SOC2 audit experience
  • Familiar with Security Reference Architectures and actual best practices

For candidates in California, Colorado, and New York City, the Targeted Base Salary Range for this role is $130,000 to $175,000.

About This Role

iRhythm is currently looking for an EHR Integration Engineer who will be responsible to provide services for our EHR Integration Platform. You will drive standards, tooling and upgrades used by our EHR Customers for all aspects of running an application. This role can work remotely.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Automate the build and deployment of the EHR platform in AWS environment
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and enhancements for a smooth running EHR system
  • Lead technical discussions and debugging sessions alongside engineers during major incidents
  • Solve escalated issues from other customer support teams and ensure we deliver timely and effective resolution
  • Troubleshoot customer issues within our interface engine (Mirth/InterSystems) and develop processes to prevent similar issues in the future
  • Analyze customer support trends and present the data and proposed solutions for continuous improvement of our services
  • Work with current integrated customers to understand their business needs and help close any identified gaps in our processes and offerings
  • Interact with clients to help them expand their use of Zio Integration to new sites and specialties, or to meet new needs and goals
  • Work and communicate independently with the client’s implementation team and cross-functionally within iRhythm on a regular basis
  • Identify success metrics and KPI’s of the EHR platform’s uptime
  • Post-implementation partnership with iRhythm Customer Care and Revenue Cycle Services organizations to provide ongoing support
  • Drive continuous improvement of our processes and value to customers by leading and executing on internal projects, interacting with multiple internal and vendor stakeholders

About You:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with EHR integration applications and underlying AWS or preferable cloud infrastructure in the healthcare industry
  • Proficiency with HL7, FHIR, and SMART on FHIR integration engine solutions
  • Knowledge of two or more integration engines (Mirth or Intersystem’s preferred)
  • Familiarity with migrating integration engines is a bonus!
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Puppet, or Ansible
  • Strong Linux system administration skills
  • Some exposure with relational databases
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, IPSec and firewalls)
  • At least 3 years using Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages
  • Familiarity with building and supporting custom API’s
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in the healthcare technology field
  • Proven success in working with health care systems or providers
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with a focus on collaboration and flexibility when working with both external and internal stakeholders

With several optimization projects ahead, you will have the opportunity to lead in their implementation with a high degree of autonomy. This role reports to the Director of Platform Engineering.

The Cloud Devops team at Liveperson is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer: a candidate that takes on challenges, continuously expands his area of expertise and naturally takes ownership of his work. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, an eagerness to follow good practices and a desire to apply his skills in the field of DevOps.

We will provide you the grounds to succeed, an embracing working environment and very complex and interesting technical challenges to solve.

You will:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on the cloud (e.g., GCP) and on-prem to support containerized applications.
  • Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting within Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with the cloud team to provision, configure, and maintain cloud resources on GCP, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
  • Implement automation for resource provisioning and scaling using tools like Terraform and Helm.

You have:

  • 3+ years of  experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role - MUST
  • Experience with GitLab, including GitLab CI/CD - high advantage
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, Python or ruby - MUST
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes - MUST
  • Proven experience of Ansible - advantage
  • Experience of infrastructure-as-code concepts using tools like Terraform - advantage.
  • Experience with Helm and puppet - advantage.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (advantage)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
