As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new face to complement our Marketing team. As Video Editor Intern, you’ll create video and audio content for our bi-weekly webinars and assist our Senior Video Editor with the creation of all company videos. Will you join us in our quest to create a healthier and happier world?

This role of Video Editor Intern is based at ourAmsterdam office and is a full-time (40 hours)position (32 hours can be discussed). We are a remote-friendly company, meaning you can work from home or any location you want.

Please note: even though we are remote-friendly, we can only hire interns that are enrolled at an EU university and live in the Netherlands/are open to move to the Netherlands and hold a Dutch citizen service number (BSN).

What this role looks like

As a Video Editor Intern, you’ll create video and audio content for our bi-weekly webinars. You’ll work together with our Senior Video Editor to develop multiple multimedia projects.You’ll also support the Marketing Team in providing the best social experience and service on all channels: you’ll create nice posts, stories and concepts contributing to the engagement and the conversation with our community.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced video & multimedia editor for TIDAL's production team.

You Will:

  • You will work on a range of projects with variance in setup and workflows.

  • The work will involve varying degrees of autonomy and collaboration, and will require adaptability along with slate & strategy.

  • You will help shape narrative, short form, social, and archival material.


You Have:

  • 6+ years experience in video production, with focus on editing short form digital projects.

  • Advanced level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • Expertise in motion graphics [design and production], with strong After Effects skills demonstrated via previous works & reel.

  • Specific experience producing music & arts content, with engaged awareness of contemporary artists, aesthetics and trends.

  • Abilities to shape and iterate on narrative and story structure.

  • Experience with creative experimentation in concepts, style and execution.

  • Color grading and audio mixing skills, using the Adobe CC tools.

  • Attention to detail and a rigorous approach to quality control.

    Brainrider is seeking an experienced and creative video editor with motion experience to produce engaging video content built from event footage, existing videos, social content, and various other sources. 

    You are proficient in video editing programs including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci, etc. You take pride in being detail-oriented and creative while also able to work within pre-defined brand and style guidelines. The job requires keeping the project's message clear, its aesthetics clean, meeting all deadlines and driving the project to completion no matter your level of involvement.

    You will work closely with the video marketing lead, creative director, cross-functional stakeholders, content leads, subject matter experts, and external vendors.


    What You'll Do:

    • Video editing of highlight reels, sizzles, event loops, and other video projects
    • Able to cut footage effectively to music, using transitions/effects thoughtfully (split screen, rotation, clean cuts, etc.)
    • Must be able to follow style guides including brand communication guidelines 
    • Able to incorporate simple motion graphics within a video file (to illustrate statistics, include brand assets like lower thirds, logos, bugs, etc.
    • Able to add in captions via SRT file making sure that the timing of the captions is correct to the visuals
