ON24 is seeking a highly motivated Senior Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. The role will lead and execute our organic and paid digital strategies, web optimization and digital programs. The role will work closely with various roles on the marketing team to generate demand and drive web conversion on a global scale.    

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our digital efforts, plan and coordinate ongoing day-to-day efforts across SEO and multiple ad platforms and develop an advanced growth strategy for the future. You have done everything from in-the-weeds tactical daily bid adjustments to keyword builds and audits. You are near-expert level in all formats of search (SEM) and display advertising. You know the pillars of SEO and can explain how you have achieved first page ranking for a keyword and grown organic traffic for a B2B organization. You can provide senior-level planning support & comms to executives and know how to draw insights from data to tell a story. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to develop strategy but still execute on a daily basis; you will have impact immediately.    

Responsibilities:    

STRATEGY    

  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive digital marketing strategy
  • Build the digital roadmap to help us achieve our aggressive annual pipeline and revenue goals, while increasing awareness of our brand
  • Develop, prioritize, and own the execution of our SEO roadmap
  • Be the owner of the keyword strategy and collaborate with content, demand gen, product, brand teams to drive traffic and conversion 
  • Leverage a strong data analytics background to own the full funnel impact of digital efforts; continuously audit and recommend strategies to drive improved results and efficiency
  • Explore new and emerging digital marketing & acquisition opportunities/tech, allowing us to target audiences in new ways
  • Interlock with field partners and strategy to drive a continuous feedback loop and down-funnel conversion
  • Own full funnel conversion rate for key high value conversion points; including leading indicators, on-page conversion, & down-funnel conversion
  • Effectively manage third party agencies to drive SEO and paid media results

EXECUTION    

  • Manage the execution of a digital marketing strategy for paid marketing campaigns across SEM, Display, Social, and other digital channels - keep this highly organized and visible
  • Make the calls on audience sizing, spend allocation, budget optimization, cadence, channel mix and overall prioritization of campaigns
  • Work closely with our agency and 3rd-party marketing platforms to test new features, technologies, and methodologies - have an eye for constant optimization
  • Develop winning SEO tactics and strategies that improve the organic search visibility/ranking of ON24/our keywords
  • Help improve the user journeys on our website by optimizing messaging, landing page designs, website tools, offers, and overall experience
  • Develop, expand, and execute optimization and personalization programs for main website assets
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to define and prioritize short and long-term campaigns to drive web conversion and lead generation
  
REPORTING    
  • Develop ROAS and demand gen models to forecast and track conversions, Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), pipeline, and revenue
  • Define SEO success metrics, and other analytics to gauge SEO health
  • Use data and analytics to draw insights & continually optimize campaigns; inform internal stakeholders of performance (eg: DG, Content, PMM, Product teams, SDR)
  • Main business KPIs will be program efficiency and effectiveness in terms of: responses & engagement, net new names, contribution to pipeline, acceleration of pipeline, and revenue growth
  • Ensure accurate reporting and audit of operations across the channels you own
 

Qualifications:    

  • BA/BS in marketing or related field
  • 5-8 years of digital/paid media or performance marketing experience at an agency or B2B SaaS company; 3+ years of SEO experience in B2B SaaS/Tech
  • Solid understanding of SEO ecosystem and strategies to grow quality traffic
  • Proven track record on search (SEM), paid social, programmatic display advertising, auction formats and bidding/investment efficiency and ROI
  • Experience leveraging content, copy, imagery, and landing page messaging to drive conversion rate optimization strategies
  • Knowledge of optimization tools (e.g, Optimizely); demand generation tools (e.g, Marketo, SFDC, 6sense, Demandbase, Drift, Clearbit, Rollworks); web analytics software (e.g, Google Analytics, Google Search Console), Wordpress, reporting/visualization software (e.g, Domo).
  • Ability to articulate SEO ideas, strategies, and tactics to audiences with varying knowledge of SEO (novices to technical specialists)
  • Ability to lead incremental tests and ability to measure marketing impact
  • Inquisitive and innovative - test and learn mentality with a hunger to leverage the latest technology and methods to drive growth
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; data driven mindset

The base pay range for this position is $135,000-$155,000. This range is not a guarantee of actual compensation that may be earned nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on relevant experience, education, skills, location, and other applicable factors.

Your day to day tasks will include:

  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
  • Track, report and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns.
  • Manage campaign spend, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs and reconcile variances.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization. Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
  • Develop and implement link link-building strategy.
  • Work with a web development team (agency and in-house resource) to ensure proper implementation of SEO best practices on newly developed code.
  • Work with the rest of the marketing and communications team to support SEO in content creation and content programming.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, links and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in the development and successful execution of SEO campaigns.
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
  • Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics, SEM Rush, and Supermetrics.
  • Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools.
  • Ability to conduct competitive analysis of other companies in the industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Experience with WordPress or other content management systems.
  • Experience in other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus.
  • Excellent English written and verbal language skills. 
  • French is considered a plus.

Education and Training Required:

About the Temporary Global Digital Campaigner

The Global Digital Campaigner will help 350.org’s global and regional teams meet our goals of growing, engaging and inspiring our network and supporters. They will use digital tools, platforms and tactics, to create supporter journeys and content, to help recruit and motivate people to take action for the climate. They will lead the development and rollout of online campaigns, test tools and tactics to optimise results, and support 350.org’s global and regional teams in their work to build the fair transition to 100% renewable energy for all. 

The exact project and tasks will be defined together with the successful candidate, but might include the following: a focus on decentralised and distributed digital campaigns and organising; work on testing and rolling out our distributed petitions platform; supporting the development and strategy for using WhatsApp for organising and engagement; a focus on email-based campaigns and optimisation; designing and testing effective engagement strategies and tactics, and improving how we use data as part of digital campaign planning.

A person who will thrive in this role is someone who has experience in designing and delivering campaigns for change, including strategies that deepen the engagement of supporters and create lasting change using digital channels, tools and tactics. They will understand how digital technology helps movements to build our collective power. They are confident testing and iterating on tools and products, analysing data and troubleshooting. They are highly flexible, a problem-solver, have good time and workload management. They can manage projects with multiple stakeholders and stick to deadlines. We are looking for someone comfortable working both independently and in a small cross-cultural team, highly responsive, accountable, and able to lead initiatives as well as take direction from others.

Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and deliver on priority global digital projects, in line with our strategy and ways of working
  • Lead or support work to optimise our use of tools and tactics for engagement and impact
  • Collaborate with colleagues across 350’org’s global and regional teams on shared projects,  offering input, advice and practical support on areas of work and expertise
  • Coordinate the creation and dissemination of digital campaigning and engagement plans and content (websites, email, online actions, videos, social and multimedia content) for assigned projects and mobilisations.

Required Qualifications 

  • Proven relevant experience, including in developing and implementing digital campaigns for change, such as petitions, social media actions, mobilisations, or creative online disruption tactics, and managing supporter communities (such as large mailing lists, online groups, subscribers, social media followers, online activist spaces) in a non-profit or political context.
  • Experience in managing projects and coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of and ease in using digital campaigning or organising software, such as mass mailers, CRMs, databases, campaigning tools, in particular experience in collaborating with technical staff and developers on testing and optimising tech for its given purpose.
  • Ability to explain complex ideas in a simple and easy to understand way, and solid content writing skills.
  • Experience working in an international setting, across countries, regions and cultures, in a distributed, multicultural team, where work happens online and across different time zones.
  • Self-awareness and commitment to anti-oppression and the principles of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.
  • At least a basic knowledge of climate justice issues, and a dedication to build the climate movement.
  • Competencies and skills related to racial justice and equity
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Flexible availability to be able to make cross-timezone project meetings.

Desired skills and experiences 

  • Familiarity with the digital tools used by 350.org (ActionKit, Action Network, NewMode, ControlShiftLabs, Wordpress, Slack, Salesforce, SurveyMonkey).
  • Experience in mobile-first digital engagement, with distributed petition platforms or with digital organising and community management.
  • Technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, Wordpress and SQL, or demonstrated ability to pick up similar skills quickly.
  • Experience with data, analytics, AB testing and optimisation.
  • Experience in social media engagement strategies and managing social media channels, in online member fundraising or with crowdfunding campaigns.
  • Significant experience working in, or with partners from, the Global South.
  • Experience working with marginalized communities deeply affected by climate change and fossil fuels, such as indigenous communities on the front lines of fighting the extractive industry.

We are looking for an experienced technologist with an exceptional commitment to service excellence, experience configuring user interfaces and integrations, and a strong technical aptitude to join ALU’s Technology Team. As a Systems Specialist, you will be an integral member of the Enterprise Architecture and Technical Operations team, collaborating with diverse and talented team members to enable a world-class, integrated teaching and learning experience for faculty and students that sets the standard for teaching excellence, academic achievement, and inclusivity.

The Systems Specialist role is responsible for working with various stakeholders to gather requirements for the configuration of user interfaces, data flows, and integration points. Qualified candidates will be able to manage their own projects, establishing key deliverables and meeting aggressive deadlines. This role will apply expertise in a variety of platforms including Salesforce, Google Suite, Salesforce Admissions Connect, FormStack, SurveyMonkey, Canvas, WordPress, and others within the ALU community. This role reports to the Enterprise Applications and Product Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configuring and implementing components of ALU’s platforms as needed to build out process changes and improvements.
  • Supporting the technology used by applicants, students, and ALU staff to ensure any issues are resolved quickly.
  • Identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and improved experience.
  • Managing integration points and monitoring for data quality across the integration.
  • Developing documentation of systems and processes associated with platforms and their usage.
  • Writing user guides for platforms for internal staff, for technical support, and for applicants.
  • Working with the development team when custom development is needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, the SEO Manager will be responsible for driving organic traffic to the website and increase inbound conversions. Your position will play a huge role in driving our business growth.  

A critical member of the digital marketing team, the SEO Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing Revalize’s SEO strategy for all brands as well as measuring and reporting on key KPIs through Google Analytics and other related analytic tools. As an SEO Manager, you will manage all web projects across all languages while enhancing the health of our website via keyword research and content optimization. You will also work directly with our Demand Gen team and cross-functionally across product, sales, services, and more to optimize our pay-per-click search campaigns and enhance its success as well as oversee off-page SEO optimization.  

Technical Administration of Revalize’s Corporate Web Sites & Projects 

  • Analyze insights and report on all aspects of SEO, including audience, traffic, views, clicks, rankings, etc.  
  • Plan, develop, and implement a successful SEO strategy 
  • Work cross-functionally to support web content, GDPR and regional compliance, and optimize our site(s) 
  • Troubleshoot technology, reporting, and log issues 
  • Develop process improvement techniques for web motion 

Ownership of SEO 

  • Guide the content team through keyword research and organic search optimization 
  • Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to optimize PPC campaigns 
  • Lead web development to execute marketing campaigns 
  • Identify and guide improvements to our landing pages, blogs, and overall website content  
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices 
  • Manage SEO and paid media agency, including managing timelines, expectations, and localizing content 

Maintenance and ownership of localized websites, including strategy, technical application, security, and compliance 

  • Keep the website updated in all languages, across all geos 
  • Use WordPress and plugins as needed for critical business systems and programs 
  • Work with legal, corporate marketing, and business systems to consolidate websites and compliance 
  • Continuously monitor the health of our website and make any necessary technical SEO adjustments 
  • Oversee off-page optimization projects such as link building and forum commenting 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in computer science/marketing/communications or comparable prior experience · 
  • Expertise in WordPress and an in-depth knowledge of SEO principles and methods 
  • 4-6 years of experience planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy.  
  • Prior experience in B2B demand generation required 
  • Experience in relevant SEO and analytics tools (e.g.,Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Analytics) 
  • Prior experience in HubSpot or other marketing automation platform a plus 
  • Expertise in technical and compliance management of websites, A/B and other testing methods 
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success 
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills 
  • Should exhibit excellent communication skills and be self-motivated and well-organized
