As Business Systems Analyst, you’ll drive this critical initiative while working with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, exciting environment. You’ll support one or more work streams and multiple business teams. You will lead activities including gathering, analyzing, and documenting stakeholder requirements (developing process maps, wireframes, feature acceptance criteria, and user stories), and collaborate closely with technical teams. You’ll exercise your understanding of work streams and business processes to identify pain points and to help drive the successful implementation of requirements and processes while effectively managing stakeholder expectations.

Your efforts will be integral to realizing increased team agility and accelerated business objectives–generating a solution that will broadly impact public safety.

About the team

The Logic20/20 Digital Transformation team applies design thinking and next-gen technologies to solve our clients’ toughest business challenges. You’ll work side-by-side with architects, managers, and engineering consultants to gain a 360-degree perspective of the challenge at hand while contributing your unique perspective to develop innovative solutions.

About you

• You have served in a consulting capacity to evaluate business systems, processes, project execution, and technology–empowering business through robust technology improvements
• You are self-motivated, resourceful, and have a strong aptitude for creative problem solving
• You can manage uncertainty and complexity in unstructured operating environments
• You can quickly develop an in-depth understanding of business rules and processes to be able to optimize/streamline the workflows
• You clearly communicate sophisticated concepts to the clients and project team
• You have strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum), and the ability to work within each
• You pay great attention to details
• You act effectively as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the solutions delivered adhere to the requirements and customer need
• You understand the importance and concepts of requirements traceability, defects vs. enhancements, and acceptance criteria
• You have the aptitude to see and think through complex end-to-end enterprise processes and system flows

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (or similar) focusing on software delivery (not exclusively or predominantly focused on QA/testing)
• A high degree of creativity and innovation, with proven examples of applying knowledge, experience, and judgment to ambiguous problems
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; you are very comfortable with data
• Strong consensus-building skills between business and technology partners
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Proficient with various requirements and project management tools
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall projects, throughout a full SDLC
• Undergraduate degree in business or technology

Ideal, but not required

• Experience with wireframes and process mapping tools (i.e. Balsamiq, Lucid Chart, etc.)
• Experience with development or working closely with development teams
• End-to-end requirements, design, testing, and deploy/triage ownership
• Experience building or contributing to a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
• Experience with Git or similar code source control tools
• Project or program management certification
