The Enterprise Technical Account Managers (TAMs) provide dedicated technical presales support oversight and are willing to become a Personify product expert. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Help customers achieve their technical goals and outcomes by providing timely, proactive recommendations that will benefit customers’ ongoing usage and maximize value from Personify products.
  • Lead Technical Health Reviews and provide relevant technical recommendations on upgrades and enhancements specific to customers’ business needs and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with sales professionals to offer advice about product features to highlight during pitches and ways to increase customer retention including product demonstrations and technical proposals.
  • Create connections with technical influencers and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrate technical breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning the Personify’s capabilities to clients’ technical requirements.
  • Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of Personify solutions and secure long-term commitments.
  • Perform use-case and/or technical requirements analysis, aid in proposal or RPF response development and presentation of detailed winning proposals.
  • Proactive liaison and focal point into Personify product and technical support teams to address product feature/technical hurdles.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure client’s success
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with key clients.
  • Attend industry events to foster relationships with clients and potential clients
  • Other projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience with large-scale implementation and sophisticated resolutions within Enterprise customer environments
  • Skills for both analyzing technical concepts and translating them into business terms, and for mapping business requirements into technical features
  • Five or more years of industry experience
  • Five or more years of experience with technical account management, service delivery or technical support of customized software
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Prior experience in the Events and/or Association industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of Personify products or competitive solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Personable relationship builder who can be assertive and persistent

Role Overview: 

The Account Executive, Expansion (Commercial) Sales role requires a highly organized and high energy individual who is comfortable interfacing with a diverse audience ranging from marketing to corporate IT, and is able to tailor their message accordingly. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Leverage relationships in an assigned set of existing enterprise accounts to prospect and close new business opportunities with additional decision makers, including a wide range of marketing and demand generation titles, as well as corporate communications, training, procurement and sales. 
  • Partner with ON24's Client Success Team to summarize existing business in key accounts and facilitate introductions to client advocates and references. 
  • Consult with prospects to determine the best solutions for their specific needs. Recommend solutions, prepare and present proposals and get contracts executed. 
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations. 
  • Achieve all individual activity and revenue targets set by the company. 
  • Log sales activity (prospecting, opportunities, revenue, next steps) in Salesforce.com. 
  • Attend sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the market place. 
  • Keep current with all ON24 product information, pricing and contract terms. 
  • Travel, as required, to meet prospects and customer face-to-face. Approximately 10-15% travel. 

Skills & Experience:  

  • Ability to converse in a professional and knowledgeable manner on various industry topics and Internet technologies in order to sell opportunities to prospective customers. 
  • Ability to create successful sales strategies for ON24 products and/or services. 
  • Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and management skills.

  • Research federal and state income, payroll, and sales tax issues

  • Providing monthly or quarterly advisory services to the client, bringing your analytical abilities and professional experience to bear
  • Making recommendations to clients about organizational structure decisions and assisting with entity formation
  • Performing analysis and making recommendations about compensation structures, retirement plan structures, or employee incentive structures
  • Generating proposals for new client relationships (don’t worry, we’ll show you how to do this in a way that doesn’t even feel like selling)
  • Contributing to content creation for the firm in written and video formats
  • Assisting clients with government programs like the EIDL, PPP, or other various funding or grant opportunities

You’ll have a flexible schedule, be able to work-from-anywhere, and participate in company benefit programs. Compensation for this role starts at $100-120k with opportunities for sign-on bonuses and bonuses based on goals and metrics.
