Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Motion Designer capable of creating marketing initiatives within a cross-discipline team, which includes creative development and collaboration across design, development, UX, and content design. We’re looking for a passionate, positive, creative self-starter, who can produce quality content packages end-to-end in a collaborative team environment, but with minimal direct oversight.

  • Advanced proficiency in After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma. Ability to work in HTML5 is an asset 

  • Strong understanding of 2D with some 3D knowledge

  • Strong storytelling and storyboarding skills

  • You live at the intersection of marketing and user experience, and understand how to take people on a complete journey, end to end

Job Description

We are looking for a UI Designer to help mold our software into easy-to-use products.

UI Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, designing application components and prototyping the finished product. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. Having a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, is a plus.

Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our users’ needs and help us grow our customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist design lead in day to day functions of the product design team

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers


  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

The Senior User Experience (UX) Designer is a provenUX/ UI professional responsible for working on web applications and mobile apps to develop and prototype thoughtful, innovative, and outstanding user experiences that exceed client expectations. About the Partnerships Incubator

The Partnerships Incubator was set up as a global service hub to address this need by amplifying USAID’s external communications efforts to strengthen and diversify the Agency’s partner base, expanding Agency capacity for partnerships, and supporting partner organizations working with USAID. The Partnerships Incubator works with USAID headquarters and Missions to identify and engage new and local partners, provide training and capacity-building assistance, and develop tools, resources, and models to advance USAID’s partnership goals. The project recently launchedWorkwithUSAID.org, a free, USAID-funded resource hub designed to connect partners to peers and experts, improve their organizational readiness, and prepare them to receive USAID funding. 

Responsibilities

The Senior UX Designer will be a key contributor to USAID’s Partnerships Incubator operations with a particular focus on WorkwithUSAID.org. The incumbent will carry out activities that optimize usage of WorkwithUSAID.org and enhance engagement with the site. They will also serve as a utility and rapid response contributor to other Incubator activities. The Senior UX Designer will:

  • Play a vital role in the Phase II and Phase III website development process to ensure services and tools are designed to ease partner interactions and facilitate user exploration. 
  • Perform usability testing of the current site, including user scenarios and personas, and offer recommendations to streamline and improve the user experience.
  • Liaise with the Web Director and Web Project Specialist to analyze feedback from users and recommend updates to the website.
  • In coordination with the Web Director, conceptualize, map out, and prototype new website components, as needed. 
  • Understand the needs and constraints of the website, and recommend functionalities to enhance the site.
  • Conduct landscape analysis and market research.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flows.
  • Liaise with internet security personnel regarding compliance.
  • Engage with the communications team to analyze and develop content that aligns with and supports user behaviors and interests on the site.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers to ensure brand consistency and clear, engaging, enjoyable “look and feel.” 
  • Maintain visibility over the language versions (Spanish, French, and Arabic) of WorkwithUSAID.org to ensure seamless user experience. 
  • Contribute to all aspects of the website, including search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Collaborate with Incubator staff, interns, and consultants across the project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in computer science, graphic design, web development, psychology, or other related field and 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • UX certification preferred with superior UX expertise and evidence of generating excellent outputs and deliverables.
  • Proven abilities with graphic design tools, such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and knowledge of industry tools like Sketch, InVision, Axure, and Balsamiq.
  • Experience with both website and app design, as well as solid coding ability. 
  • Comfortable with a project environment that appreciates initiative, personal ownership of work portfolios, and an entrepreneurial mindset and behaviors. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Proven effectiveness in managing relations with multiple actors, including partners and donors.

Job Description

We are looking for talented designers ready to shape experiences for cutting-edge software - starting from requirements gathering and analysis, through architecture and layout definition to crafting modern graphical interfaces and validating them. Responsibilities

  • Holistic approach to product or service design both in a UX and a UI designer role throughout the entire development lifecycle

    Job Description

    We are looking for a passionate gamer and artist who will: 

    • Help the marketing art team to create and publish audiovisual materials, design titles, and animate transitions
    • Take part in the post-production of videos that use filmed footage, 2D and 3D visual assets

        • Inside and outside formal planning processes, recommend creative approaches to designing materials for internal and external use
        • Develop and maintain a library of medical illustrations and animations for the
        • purpose of archiving, auditing, and reuse
        • Appropriately manage design projects with competing priorities and deadlines
        • Contribute to the oversight of art and tool budgets in conjunction with other team members
        • Contribute to the maintenance and content of PSI style guides
        • Conduct ongoing research and report on emerging medical illustration trends, issues, and best practices to contribute to team innovation and expertise as well as inform revisions of iterative design processes
        • Occasionally apply design skills to non-medical design projects

        Qualifications

        • Familiarity, from a medical standpoint, with human physiology, anatomy, and major
          systems.
        • Working knowledge of digital design and animation tools including demonstrable
          skill with the Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools.
        • Working knowledge of design best practices regarding, but not limited to, usage
          rights, art budgeting, and production timelines
        • Experience with 2D and/or 3D animation is preferred but not required
        • Board certification in Medical Illustration is preferred but not required
        • Scanning and digital photography experience useful but not required
        • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Illustration or Fine Art highly preferred
        • Ability to participate in a dynamic environment that thrives on team-oriented
          contributions
        • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.

        Job Description

        You will work closely with the Product Marketing Manager/Product manager and Art Director to design key marketing assets and to present them in a visually appealing way. Understanding the marketing strategy, the business needs and the brands, as a Graphic Designer you will develop cutting edge conceptual design solutions for digital communications. You will be responsible for the creation of various marketing and promotional materials, event invitations, graphics for websites (banners, interstitials etc.), presentations, photo collages, posters, social media and other materials for both internal and external needs.

        Qualifications

         

        • Be highly creative and passionate about graphic design 
        • Expertise with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects. Unreal engine is a plus
        • Be able to use and combine adequately 3d renders, photos, collages by applying UI and UX design principles and capabilities 
        • Demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience in the preparation of artwork for a variety of media such as: web pages - conception, design, execution; banners and various promo materials for different media like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter etc. 
        • Multi-task and successfully complete within specified deadlines concurrent and competing projects in a fast-paced, high pressured results driven environment 
        • Photography is a huge plus 
        • Previous experience in printed media is a plus
