About your activity

Your role

We're looking for an Application Support Specialist who can help us analyze and solve potential incidents/tickets that might occur in the daily business process:

  • Ensure that the online platform and all its supporting tools are up and running, helping users and colleagues with their respective questions
  • Operate IT systems related to business processes independently, including error handling, performance tuning & printer management services
  • Collaborate with other IT departments and business departments within the 2nd & 3rd level support
  • Constant contact with our customer
  • Create tickets for responsible teams with details of found issues to be resolved or investigated
  • Perform SAP daily checks, reports and end of month activities
  • Order flow/stock investigation on the different operation
  • Offering support for our customer's cloud migration

We are looking for an enthusiastic Proxy Product Owner who can adjust to different business contexts in order to identify functional and technical solutions for the application's development.

As a Proxy Product Owner, you'll become one of the most valuable assets of the company by playing the role of a facilitator who bridges the gap between Business and IT on various projects.

You will play the key role in a project life-cycle by ensuring that the final solution meets the customer’s needs and objectives. Your responsibilities will be the following:

About the project

The project is a REST Gateway built from scratch to an eCommerce Application and it is available in multiple countries in western Europe, primarily Germany. The REST Gateway is consumed by REACT applications on mobile devices.

Your team

You will be part of a new team and take complete ownership over the shop application together with technical colleagues from Cluj-Napoca and business colleagues from Germany, having all the needed roles in place. The team member skills will cover all the projects needs starting from frontend and backend development, to testing and project management. The delivery process is agile, having the flexibility to organise in the most efficient manner for the team.

In the first months of the collaboration, you will have a dedicated ramp-up period to explore and learn the project. In the meantime, you will gradually be involved in the following:

    Job Description

    • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
    • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
    • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
    • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Cloud ‘big data’ technologies.
    • Build/use analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
    • Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

    Competence Area Lead:

    • Define, create, optimize and maintain a repository of Data&AI development knowledge base.
    • Align Technologies best practices with other best practices in the Group, including but not limited to project management and solution architecture
    • Keep up to date competences and competences levels for Data&AI Software Engineers  as a support to both pre-sales and projects delivery.
    • Support the community growth through internships and/or academies.
    • Collaborate with service delivery teams to spot potential issues in projects related to the usage of the technology and propose appropriate mitigation plans to address them.
    • Design the budget requirements needed to drive the Competence Area considering both money and effort needed and execute and monitor it.
    • Evaluate and identify gaps with regards to actual competencies required by projects across the Group.
    • Develop and grow a community of Data & AI Software Engineers, motivating the community to identify optimization methods and continuously learn about best practices and technology trends.

    Qualifications

    Must Have

    • SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
    • Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ pipelines, architectures and data sets.
    • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
    • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
    • Knowledge of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
    • Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable ‘big data’ stores.
    • Experience with
      • big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
      • Azure cloud services
      • stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
      • object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, C#, Scala, etc.
      • basic knowledge of Visualization tools: PowerBI, Tableau, etc

    About the projects

    • PowerApps & PowerAutomate-based applications and solutions - part of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, either completely new requests or migration-related requirements (e.g. from existing SharePoint on-prem or Nintex-based solutions to PowerApps & PowerAutomate-based solutions)
