We made it our mission to change the rules of the game by empowering your business to hire internationally.

DistantJob is hiring a Remote UX/UI Designer

Recognizing the need is the primary condition for design. - Charles Eames

We have a growing client in the datacenter industry who's looking for a UX/UI designer with a keen eye for detecting points of improvement in user-centered design. After all, the problem itself is not always evident, and it takes a forward-thinking designer capable of analyzing a product through the eyes of the user to discover how their experience can be enhanced.

Our client provides enterprise-class managed data center services, and they're looking for a UX/UI Designer for their team. They have around 70 data centers servicing 29 different markets. The scale of their applications is enormous, so it's safe to say it's a very impactful project you'll have the chance to work on.

You'll be working closely alongside the Lead Designer and helping with UI research, design sketches, and collaborating on projects. • Document design specifications for the development team if needed
  • Manage the version control of user screens & completed design flows
  • Assist in creating interactive assets and prototypes (including graphics, icons, and interface elements), creating and maintaining user flows, and adhering to brand standards
  • Communicating with directors and stakeholders, and giving feedback on project progress

You'll be ideal for the position if you have:

  • 2+ years experience in UX/UI or Product Design
  • Bonus points for Graphic Design experience
  • A good grasp of User-Centered Design
  • Passion for UX/UI design and for creating user-centered experiences
  • Precise knowledge of design principles, like hierarchy, typography, and color theory
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to tasks

  • Proficient Figma skills
  • Enthusiasm for solving problems through design for users
  • Experience with Platform or Dashboard Design, including how users interact with dashboards and ensuring accessibility
  • A portfolio that shows your design skills and how you apply design to solve real-world problems

If you are a creative and ambitious UX/UI Designer, we invite you to apply with your portfolio and resume!

(Note: if your portfolio is not ready at the time you apply, or is not in English, you can apply without it, but please have it ready for your first interview with us)
