Software Developer - Microsoft Business Central / Dynamics

SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics Developer to join our team. You will work with our Business Analysts and Developers to analyze, design, and develop the best solutions while utilizing and integrating with a variety of cutting edge technologies and tools. This position is ideal for an ambitious, detail-oriented professional who seeks to join a growing company. You will also be a mentor who is eager to share your expert knowledge to develop best practices and skills with less experienced team members. You will have the opportunity for independent initiative and judgment to improve systems and software applications, the ePac service offering, and reporting. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure, develop and deliver MS Business Central / Dynamics software and components
• Manage development and deployment of customizations and integrations
• Debug system problems, perform data conversions, and craft resolutions
• Installation and implementation of service packs and hot fixes as needed
• Test functionality developed by the development team against business requirements
• Support and drive process change and communication in line with best practice
• Coordinate and contribute to end-user training including development of system documentation and training materials
• Assist with functional specifications of customizations and integrations
• Provide end user support
• Serve as the lead Business Central / Dynamics technical expert on the development team
• Take responsibility for the customized unit programming and overall system functionality
• Take responsibility for delivering development tasks within agreed budgets and timelines
• Creation of technical documentation for all customizations and integrations

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• 5+ years of development experience and hands-on work with full life cycle implementations
• 5+ years of NAV C/SIDE C/AL development experience
• 3+ years SQL Experience
• Experience working with common third party add-on solutions and their integration with MS NAV highly desirable 
• Prior NAV upgrade and data migration experiences is a plus
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV certification(s) in related discipline a plus
• Ability to translate customer business requirements and specifications into software solutions
• Monitoring and troubleshooting skills
• Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously  
• Experience in building and exposing Web Services using Json and SOAP
• Experience with PrintVis is a plus
• Experience with multiple Regions and Globalization is a plus
• Expert DevOps Knowledge regarding Source Control, Build Automation, Test Automation and Deployment is a plus

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Laminator Operator is responsible for setting up the solventless adhesive laminator, running production of the laminator, cleaning and all related maintenance of the machine. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Identifies and ensures that proper materials are used for production
• Ensures mistakes are not made and materials match as necessary
• Manages pre-run testing of the material to ensure the correct coding weights and bond strength are applied
• Runs the proper amount of material/footage to the job order
• Completes proper checking of production and material
• Prepares for production at the end of each day for the following day 
• Correctly build up production orders and doctor blade assemblies
• Perform all required quality checks prior to producing all production orders to ensure a product can be processed at the next stage of the manufacturing process.
• Load and unload material from the laminators using defined equipment 
• Install/remove laminator sleeves as required for each production order.
• Follow the production schedule as issued by production control

• Set up & Operate specific Laminating Machine according to company laminating procedures and guidelines.*
• Apply proper adhesive and wind rolls according to specs.
• Job Order interpretation.
• Follow equipment and workplace cleaning/sanitation procedures, to complete Sanitation checklist
• Check first, middle and last piece conformance to specifications.
• Enter data into Microsoft Dynamics Floorshop Module
• Perform daily and periodic preventative maintenance duties specified for assigned machines/equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines/equipment and adjacent work area to AIB standards.

• Report quality issues to Production Manager for analysis and/or remedy
• Report all Food Safety Violations to management

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Performs other duties as assigned 
• Turns on auxiliary and other equipment as needed
• Loads and unloads trucks as needed

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to read rulers
• Ability to read and understand gauges
• Testing of equipment
• Ability to use a micrometer
• Understanding of lamination process
• Must have good communication skills both personal and via Email 
• Multiple machine qualifications preferred. 
• Must have outstanding troubleshooting skills 
• Must have good judgment with decision making in regards to Safety and Quality. 
• Ability to complete production related documentation on both computer and paper forms 
• Must have excellent team skills 
• Ability to take direction from several individuals 
• Ability to work additional overtime if required to get the job tasks completed 
• Self-motivated and ability to make decisions

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• 3-5 years of experience in production, lamination and printing setting
• Forklift operation
• High school diploma preferred
• Responsibility in the area of food safety essentials from AIB international 5.4.1.1 section of adequacy of prerequisite and food safety programs 
• Ability to pass training tests/methods to become qualified on one or more alternative production machines such as slitting, pouching, and printing.
