The Opportunity:

The successful candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

Technical Responsibilities

  • As the lead DevOps engineer, collaborate cross functionally to plan, design, develop and deploy the automation and orchestration that enables the development and hosting teams to deliver new and existing applications
  • Design, create, and deploy CI/CD tooling and processes for a consistent, iterative, and automated deployment pipeline from development to production in our private/public cloud in an AWS environment.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain automated tools to simplify, standardize, and automate common repetitive administration, support, and scaling tasks.
  • Espouse an infrastructure as code mentality
  • Establish monitoring and alerting capabilities to manage production products and services
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems, establish trends, validate baselines, and identify outlier to develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
  • Coordinating with the InfoSec team for data security implementation and compliance.
  • Ensure teams can triage and debug issues in production and non-production environments.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery processes that will adhere to established RPO and RTO.

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Serve as the personnel manager for approximately 4 engineers providing leadership, objectives, guidance, training, and performance feedback
  • Work with other leaders to provide an engaging work environment where our staff can grow and be highly effective
  • Manage day to day development and deployment activities, coordinating with product, development, hosting, and others to enable all our teams to achieve the right outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience
  • 5+ years as a DevOps technical lead
  • 8+ years working with AWS cloud and large virtualized and distributed enterprise environments
  • 8+ years hands on experience designing and delivering solutions for teams to work collaboratively using version control, creating enterprise level CI/CD for enterprise SaaS platform teams and proper change management control practices.
  • Extensive experience with latest DevOps technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Octopus, Terraform, PowerShell, etc.
  • Deep understanding of concepts related to "infrastructure as code", configuration management, and experience automating manual processes
  • Experience troubleshooting and understand how to setup a code delivery systems to geographically redundant service in the cloud
  • Understanding of application and infrastructure stacks with first-hand knowledge and experience on best practices for replication and handling demand loads.
  • Proven success automating previously manual processes
  • MS SQL experience
  • Track record of working with mission critical systems that are client facing

  • 8+ years of VB.NET or C# development experience.  While the majority of coding will be in VB, we will consider candidates that do not have prior VB.NET experience

FM:Systems is seeking a high motivated and entrepreneurial Account Executive to join the rapidly growing Healthcare Practice.  As a new member of the Healthcare Practice, you will focus on new business sales to mid- market hospitals and health systems. Summary of Position

FM:Systems is currently seeking a Technical Implementation Specialist who will spearhead the technical needs of individual client implementations of our FMS:Employee and FMS:Workplace SaaS solution. Using your expertise in; server and software installations, product configurations, migration executions, conversion strategies and custom client solutions. You will trouble shoot technical software environments for a successful implementation of our solutions. Contributing to the adoption and overall satisfaction of our clients.
