The Sales Manager is a crucial position within the Greenlight Guru sales organization. Primary Responsibilities


  • Daily management of Account Executives including; Coaching, 1:1’s, Objective setting, performance monitoring, communication of team initiatives, and pipeline reviews for any AEs that report to you. 
  • Cultivate and maintain a culture of constant improvement and routine enablement
    • This includes running weekly team training meetings
  • Hiring and interviews for potential AE candidates
  • Work alongside the AE leadership team to create quarterly and annual plans to achieve sales goals that align to the overarching company and revenue team goals.
  • Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly forecasting reviews with the Sales Leadership team - accountability to the accuracy of these forecasts.
  • Weekly Sales Leadership meetings: contribution and analytics reporting against team and company OKRs
  • Assisting AEs with closing calls and negotiation, including contract reviews, mutual action plans, and legal procurement processes
  • Working with sales leadership to give feedback on wins/losses and reasons
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity
  • Responsible and accountable to the AE close metrics and your team sales total overall

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years sales experience in a fast-paced, B2B SaaS technology company with 2+ of those years managing AEs
  • History of a highly analytical and metrics driven approach to team management and decision making
  • Front line AE management experience required 
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious quotas while being able to forecast accurately
  • An ability to speak to key issues and not avoid potential conflict around tough decisions

The Medical Device Sales Engineering role is a highly visible position within the sales organization. In this role, you will be responsible for demonstrating the software at a technical level to prospective clients. You will work with account executives to plan impact-driven presentations that are customized to each buyer. A strong understanding of software systems and user buyer habits is critical as well as having the ability to connect with buyers virtually and give world-class visual presentations of software (in a live environment). This role impacts nearly all new business. It is also responsible for product feedback to our development team and overseeing technical product training to our sales organization. This is a growth position to an existing team of one Solutions Engineer.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct customized product demonstrations with medical device product development engineers and quality/regulatory managers
    • You will be doing a lot of these as you partner with our account executives - you should like speaking w/ people and teaching them not only about our solution but also about our space and industry
    • You will help educate smaller customers on the value of our medical device system
    • Speak with highly educated members of the medical device community about current and future trends in our space
    • You will be doing walk throughs and prospect education on the functions of our platform and how it functions in a regulated space for our customers
  • Maintain a full/expert level understanding of all Greenlight Guru Software products
  • Maintain sales tools and environments to keep them sharp for use in customer demonstrations
  • Participate in training sales team on all functions and values of new products as they are released
  • Attend sales trainings and meetings with a focus on partnership with the inside sales team
  • Participating as a face of the sales team with other departments (customer success and product development)
  • Maintaining reporting on performance of demonstrations involving Solutions Engineers
  • Meeting with sales leadership to provide feedback on potential areas of improvement


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience using or maintaining QMS systems in any variant or in medical device quality management
  • Experience using eQMS software systems (ideally in the medical device space) or product development and engineering tools for medical device
  • Preference for experience with medical device technology or regulations (ISO 13485, 510(k), EUMDR, MDSAP, ISO 14971, etc…)
  • Preference for experience in implementing or selling a quality management system (ideally in the medical device space)
  • This is a ‘future customer’ facing role - an ability to participate in customer and prospect facing calls in an educative way is critical
  • Preference for experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer or other product demonstration position in a SaaS environment
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and familiarity with cloud based software usage
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

  • Host welcome calls with new customers to establish key milestones, set expectations, and uncover the customers’ desired outcomes. 
  • Work internally with sales to ensure a smooth handoff from the sales process to the customer journey.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience as a Customer Success Manager or Account Manager within a SaaS business
  • Proven track record of consistently attaining or exceeding a renewal and/or expansion quota 
  • A highly organized and tenacious record-keeper who logs and maintains customer notes in relevant systems
  • Great team player who can work well within the team and collaborate cross-functionally, especially in a remote environment 
  • Excellent writer and speaker who can communicate efficiently and effectively with customers and colleagues over Zoom video conference, in email, and eventually, in person
  • A thought leader that is motivated to learn about and stay informed of a complex and ever-changing industry
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and gracefully juggle varying customer needs and responsibilities
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable toggling between various SaaS tools

This role is responsible for the following:


  • Assist all assigned customers with onboarding and training so that users can transition/build their QMS in a digital environment with confidence.  
  • Fulfill Guru Packages, the paid consulting services that customers may purchase along with their software subscription.  
  • Assist Customer Success Managers with monthly calls and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) as needed to examine customer progress toward the desired outcome and milestones, evaluate/meet needs, identify risk factors, and suggest areas of optimization and improvement.  
  • Assist the Product team with roadmap prioritization and feature scoping as an industry subject matter expert.  
  • Serve as a key thought leader for the business, producing marketing collateral such as articles/blogs, podcasts, webinars, recorded trainings, and more.  
  • Record customer’s feedback and product needs in UserVoice and relevant customer success software and serve as an internal advocate for customer requests. 
  • Help identify high-risk customers or expansion opportunities based on regular interactions with users. Assist the CSM in accurately managing and forecasting churn, renewals, and upsells.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to inbound customer requests in Zendesk and via email.
  • Embody the company’s core values of a culture of closing, true quality, innovation, and fanatical support
  • Adhere to process and the usage of critical systems (like Salesforce and the Customer Success platform)
  • Help bridge the gap between Success and other teams by serving as a liaison with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance to streamline processes between each.

How we will measure the success in this role:

  • Achieve net revenue retention of 101%+ and an annual churn rate of 12% or less by the end of 2022
  • Increase customer NPS for the book of business (goals will change based on establishing a benchmark)
  • Systems, processes, and data hygiene are consistently maintained, and therefore personal forecasting becomes more accurate within a 5% margin of error.


Requirements

You will be responsible for building and growing our partnerships with key suppliers, vendors, and service providers to the medical device industry. You will collaborate with our Sales and Marketing teams to drive a broad range of go-to-market initiatives spanning recruiting, qualifying, and partner success activities. Serving as a key player in our partner organization and reporting to the Channel Manager, this role will be responsible for various account management initiatives, from strategic business development plans, partnership marketing plans, driving partner leads, and assisting Greenlight Guru Account Executives in closing partner referrals.


Responsibilities: 

  • Manage 50+ partner relationships and build a revenue pipeline by working with your partners to exceed sales goals within the Greenlight Guru Referral Program. 
  • Qualify, negotiate, and sign new partner relationships.
  • Generate lead referrals from informal and formal industry partner relationships through partnership engagement and success activities.
  • Maintain and nurture a pipeline of prospective referrals resulting in qualification and sales cycle support alongside sales Account Executives.
  • Cross functionally onboard and train new channel partners while providing continuing education and training to existing referral partners.
  • Develop the ability to dissect a partner's business goals and create a better plan to achieve those goals.
  • Track, trend, and report on identified channel metrics within the Referral Program.
  • Work with Channel Director and Channel Marketing Manager to develop materials to educate and enable channel partners.
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company's values, unique culture, and vision for the future.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of SaaS business development and/or account management experience building and managing partner relationships.
  • A successful track record of developing partner lead pipeline through business development, marketing automation, and on-going engagement activities
