    • Implement, maintain, and improve the accuracy of existing automation tools (SAST/DAST, DevOps, configuration hardening, etc.) to help reduce false positives.
    • Research & propose avenues to add security solutions from code editors (where code writing starts) through production (where code finally rests) – CI/CD pipeline through scripts.
    • Identify hardware-related vulnerabilities and develop solutions to mitigate them.
    • Help in the gap analysis if compliance-related audits emerge within the tenure.
    • Instill a secure-by-design culture throughout the entire company by educating security best practices using effective principle-based persuasion techniques.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Obtained or working towards a degree closely related to this position (Computer Science, CyberSecurity, etc)
    • Understanding of Linux, virtualization, and networking concepts
    • Computer Science fundamentals like complexity analysis, computational logic, and standard sort/search algorithms.

      The Email Marketing Specialist supports the marketing team in engagement, acquisition, retention, and growth strategies targeting both prospects and existing Linode customers through impactful email campaigns. This person works closely with marketing leadership and demand generation, product marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, customer success, creative, and contractors, consultants, and vendors.

      Roles & Responsibilities:

      • Work closely with the Sales, Demand Generation, Content, Customer Success, and Performance teams to write appealing, informative, attention-grabbing copy in engagement- and acquisition-generating emails.
      • Plan, create, test, and send marketing, support, and sales emails that align with departmental and organizational goals using Marketo.
      • Pull and segment lists used for all communications.
      • Test and develop recommendations for email marketing campaigns based on insight from buyer behaviors.
      • Utilize analytics and tracking tools to report on campaign performance, including, but not limited to, open rates, click-through-rates, code redemptions, impressions, page views, and other analytics.
      • Deliver timely reports on email performance and create email best practices for sales and marketing teams.
      • Manage daily email operations: content calendar, campaign design, sequencing and design, copywriting, email production, deployment and optimization of A/B test emails, and landing pages to maximize conversions.
      • Create and implement strategies for list growth, increased engagement, and increased ROI.
      • Stay up to date on and leverage email best practices.

      Qualities

      • Strong writing skills with knowledge of cloud computing preferred.
      • Attention to detail and comfortable multitasking.
      • Ability to enforce timelines and manage stakeholder expectations.
      • Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets for data and list management cleansing, etc.
      • Experience in connecting marketing systems like WordPress, Salesforce, and Marketo.
      • Quick to learn digital platforms to support marketing overall.
      • Willingness to draft abstracts and copy in support of campaign execution.

      Experience and Background

      • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
      • Hands-on experience developing and executing email marketing programs.
      • Solid understanding of mar-tech tools: campaign automation, web tagging, web analytics, data analytics, data visualization, and attribution.

      Linode’s Data Center Operations team is responsible for the planning, installation, repairs, upgrades, configuration, and maintenance of Linode’s hardware.       • Infrastructure planning in a globally-reaching data center environment

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • BA/BS in computer science or equivalent field preferred

      Linode is hiring a Remote Director of Project Management

      Linode’s Director of Project Management is an exciting, high-profile role that will be essential for liaising between senior leadership, project management, and technical stakeholders. In this role, you will be directly responsible for the efficient delivery of projects and products that will impact hundreds of thousands of end-users being served out of our global data centers.

      In this role, you will lead efforts to develop innovative projects that bring Linode strategy to life by working across departments and teams to bring all of the pieces and people together. As part of the team, you will need a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and be ready to manage big complex problems across a cross-functional matrix environment, but still keep an eye on the little details that make a project or program from good to great.

      Reporting directly to our CTO, you will be one of the key stakeholders for product roadmap execution, resource planning and cross-departmental alignment. You will be the cornerstone of planning decisions within the larger company strategy. Because of the nature of this role and style at Linode, we are seeking a strategic thinker who can run a large-scale function, but comes from a technical background and can thoroughly understand the intricacies of the technologies we work with every day.

      Responsibilities

      • Manage the full project lifecycle with autonomy and minimal supervision - from planning to project deployment
      • Drive the company’s product roadmap by aligning technical resources, project stakeholders, and owning project progress
      • Assume accountability for project timelines; Ensure interdependencies across projects are identified effectively, establish performance targets for department and individual contributors, and regularly review and evaluate opportunities to improve company’s project process
      • Build and support a high functioning project management organization through mentorship and coaching
      • Align with leadership, project managers, or other staff to prioritize projects, discuss project specifications, and define execution plans
      • Provide recommendations around resource planning, recruitment, placement, and ongoing performance management of engineering staff to meet project goals
      • Provide frequent and transparent updates, manage sponsor expectations, and keep all stakeholders informed of the progress of all projects
      • Ensure interdependencies across programs/projects are identified effectively and risks are managed preemptively
      • Create, maintain and manage timelines and/or roadmaps for projects, backlogs, feedback requests, and other initiatives.
      • Manage our implementation of Jira and KB (Confluence) for team(s)

      Expected Qualifications

      • 8+ years of progressive experience managing projects as well as large-scale teams with and at least 2 years of leadership experience
      • Experience managing complex IT infrastructure and software development projects
      • Exhibit strong team leadership and decision-making skills
      • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
      • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
      • Deep understanding of project management, workflow, infrastructure, overall project lifecycles, and management methodologies/styles

      Nice to haves

      • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
      • Experience in, or strong familiarity with the Cloud Computing industry
      • Strong understanding of Linux, virtualization, and networking concepts
      • Understanding and familiarity with the fundamentals of scripting languages; Bash, Python, Perl, etc.
      • Extensive leadership and strategic experience in a related field

      Expectations:

      • Ability to work on multiple small-to-medium-sized projects concurrently with little oversight and a high level of autonomy.
      • Possesses most key proficiencies required for the role in addition to real-world experience to be independently productive; strong ability to learn and grow in areas that may not be present
      • Effective in communicating progress, asking for and implementing feedback about self, takes ownership and accountability of assigned projects
      • Takes responsibility for the customer-impacting performance of systems on which they work as well as team practices which may impact productivity; ability to communicate recommendations to the leadership team effectively.

      Nice-to-haves:

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience
      • Contributions to open-source projects as well as your own projects
      • Experience designing system architecture
      • Knowledge of servers, switches, and various infrastructure management solutions
