Job Description

The Zone Recruiting Manager is responsible for contributing to the success of Monro’s recruitment and staffing strategies. The Zone Recruiting Manager will proactively source, identify, and screen candidates for leadership and technician roles for our stores across geographic areas. The Zone Recruiting Manager will be required to travel approximately 35% to 40% of the time to attend and monitor hiring events, conduct local market assessments, and build market specific recruiting strategies.

Essential Functions:

  • Sourcing and developing a diverse pipeline of active and passive job seekers using networking, professional organizations, social media platforms, direct sourcing, and referrals.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop a recruitment strategy to attract top talent and to meet hiring deadlines, including pre-interview meetings and post-interview debriefs.
  • Analyze the hiring process and make recommendations for process improvements to ensure hiring metrics are achieved, processes remain current, and are competitive.
  • Works closely with internal partners to include other Zone Recruiting Managers, HR Business Partners, and Recruiters across zones to share best practices, provide support on critical needs or priorities, and coordinate on national-level initiatives.
  • Ensure recruitment message is consistent and branded on all job postings.  
  • Serve as project leader for implementations within their Zone and across the company.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

A minimum of 7 years of recruiting experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience recruiting in a high-volume, multi-unit, multi-state retail environment strongly preferred. Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proven track record of recruitment leadership, strategies and results for a large company.

Job Description

The Benefits Coordinator assists in the daily administration of Monro’s 401(k), Pension, Stock Purchase, and Equity Plans.  This position serves as the primary contact for resolution of benefit related issues for teammates and vendors.

Essential Functions:

  • Respond to teammate inquiries and collaborate with external vendors to resolve problems and clarify retirement benefits in an effective and efficient manner; Escalate more complex issues to Management as necessary
  • Educate and assist employees with benefit enrollment, as elected, in applicable benefit plans based on eligibility requirements and/or appropriate qualifying events
  • Prepare communication to teammates related to resolution of issues; Prepare address files for fulfillment of distribution of communication
  • Process and reconcile the 401(k) Deferral and Loan Changes
  • Process and reconcile the enrollment and election changes for Stock Purchase Plan
  • Process new Stock Option grants
  • Prepare pension plan estimate and retirement paperwork; this includes generating the paperwork, tracking, responding to teammate questions, and submitting to trustee for payment
  • Monitor and verify retirement and stock plan administration compliance
  • Support routine audits for the 401(k) and pension plans, problem resolve any audit findings, and draft communications to participants.
  • Support new hire orientation including acquisitions
  • Analyze data to support annual projects (ie 5500’s, summary annual report, required notices, etc.)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Management Responsibility: 

The Benefits Coordinator is an individual contributor on the Monro Benefits team and operates under the direction of the Retirement Benefits Manager.

Job Description

The Communications Specialist is responsible for ensuring the company communications are aligned and delivered in accordance with Monro’s strategies and goals. Responsible for a variety of communication activities for a wide range of issues including proactive company communications and internal teammate communications to support the Monro and its brands. The Communications Coordinator ensures Monro organizational communications are effectively written and dispatched throughout the company. The role will work closely with senior management as well as operational leadership to manage the successful delivery of relevant and important information.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with operations and the senior leadership team to define overall internal communication needs, develop detailed communication plan, and lead execution of the plan, including Town Halls, PowerPoint presentations, emails, etc.
  • Provide communications expertise and execution support to departments/functions within the business for their initiatives.
  • Prepare communications, often with fast turnaround time. This includes writing, editing and producing a variety of communications for internal audiences.
  • Provide heavy planning and communications support for meetings and other events as they arise.
  • Work with operations to deliver store, district and zone communications.
  • Assist in communications and meeting activities as determined by leadership.
  • Create messaging; reviews and edits content of communications materials to ensure content meets established communications standards and guidelines before publication. Ensures prior approvals are coordinated and obtained prior to any document dissemination.
  • Maintain existing documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Design and maintains user feedback reporting systems and provides actionable insight to ensure optimal communications performance.
  • Keep communications fresh, creative, and engaging.
  • Point of contact for the coordination and delivery of teammate communications, including texts, emails, announcements, videos, etc.
  • Write/create internal communications pieces, including notices, newsletters, announcements, etc. as requested.
  • Promote and assist with planning, coordinating and promoting teammate events.
  • Work collaboratively with SMEs from other departments to develop content for internal communications relevant to their areas.
  • Other relevant duties, as assigned.

Job Description

The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for providing direction and guidance to a team of Supply Chain Analysts ensuring that consistent review and alignment of sourcing and service of major products for the business.  In addition, this position reports results and updates to Senior Management on a regular basis comparing costs, coop impact, and service level improvements. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing a team that ensures consistent and timely reviews of the retail footprint and supply and service levels of vendors in combination with cost of products. 
  • Hires, trains and provides performance feedback to a team of Supply Chain Analysts.
  • Maintains a service grid and map with consistent reporting on improvement of product availability and turns of inventory.
  • Consistent review of the distribution structure focused on pursuing a “Just in Time” support model. 
  • Review with the category management and marketing teams sources for stocking aligned brands and specific product with supply points.  Focusing on stocking top movers and sourcing lower level movers through supply points with reasonable service.
  • Responsible for assisting with competitive shopping and maintaining a database on pricing to ensure Monro maintains accurate pricing on products and services on a geographical (market) basis.
  • Work with supply points to develop a constant reverse logistics program reducing slow moving inventory.
  • Ensure program and vendor volume commitments are met within a framework of high service support for frontline sell out.
  • Review and implementation of improvements to store front involvement—allowing for needed product to be present without store manager involvement. 
  • Combining input from Senior Management, Category Management, Finance, and Marketing to source proper options to grow availability of coop, margin, and sales through turns and volume improvement.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain and vendor sourcing.
  • 4 or more years of distribution and vendor relationship experience. 
  • 2 or more years in auto parts, tires or auto service industry.
