What you will do: 

• Mechanical design and development of cutting-edge wearable and other consumer devices, with a keen focus to detail, precision, and design
• Drive product development with our manufacturing partners in Asia, North America, and Europe
• Build a lot of prototypes, break them, and iterate quickly.
• Work with leadership to help define and drive product roadmap and timelines.

• Project Experience: 10+ years of experience as a consumer product design engineer who loves working on highly creative, fast-paced, and collaborative teams alongside Industrial Designers, Hardware Engineers, and UX Designers. Strong preference given to those with high volume wearables experience.
• 3D Modeling: Experience using 3D CAD (NX or Solidworks) to design densely packaged consumer electronic parts including: PCBs, flexes, antennas, enclosures, mechanisms, and batteries, etc.
• Prototyping: Ability to scrappily build prototypes quickly and effectively to evaluate design concepts using standard test equipment. 
• Materials and Manufacturing Expertise: Knowledgeable about a wide variety of materials, and scalable manufacturing processes.  A deep technical foundation in mechanics of materials. 
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: You are comfortable with the unknown, the ambiguous, and strive to make engineering challenges a reality through creativity

We are looking for a Sourcing Manager (EMS) to assist with both tactical and strategic sourcing deliverables. What you will do: 

• Working as a key member of the sourcing team, with a focus on EMS Category Management for complex supply chain projects
• Development and implementation of Contract Manufacturing strategies and initiatives considering factors such as business requirements, quality, cost, lead times, and CM capabilities
• Monitoring market trends and advancements in capabilities within the supplier landscape and providing recommendations to leverage them for the benefit of ŌURA products

Position Overview
As Senior Manager, International Communications at Oura, you will develop and execute global communications strategies that build brand awareness, shape our narrative, and drive engagement in key international markets outside of the U.S. and Canada. Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Communications Leadership

• Lead the development and execution of Oura’s international communications strategy, ensuring alignment with global brand objectives and regional market needs.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and thought leaders across multiple regions, driving earned media coverage and positive brand sentiment.
• Collaborate with external agencies and consultants to amplify Oura’s message and increase media presence in new and existing markets.
• Manage regional executive media training, preparing Oura leaders for high-profile interviews, speaking engagements, and public appearances.
• Act as the point of contact for all international PR, international crisis communications, and international media relations inquiries.

• Oversee and manage relationships with external PR agencies in Tier 1 markets across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with global brand strategy, consistency in messaging, and the execution of high-impact media campaigns.
• Manage PR agency budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, cost control, and the delivery of campaigns within financial parameters.

• Partner with product, marketing, retail, member experience, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints in international markets.
• Work closely with the global marketing team to ensure communications efforts align with product launches, promotions, and other key initiatives.
• Collaborate with local teams to coordinate regional events, sponsorships, and influencer activations that promote Oura’s mission and vision.

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for international communications efforts, regularly reporting on the effectiveness and impact of campaigns.
• Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize communications strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and regional growth targets.

• 10+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications, with a proven track record of managing international or global communication strategies.
• Strong understanding of international markets, cultural nuances, and global media landscapes, with experience working across Europe, and, ideally, Asia, and Latin America.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt messaging for different audiences.
• Experience working in the tech, health, or consumer lifestyle sectors is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on in executing high-impact initiatives.
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus but not required.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our growing team and help drive the next wave of growth in our B2B research segment. This role will be pivotal in leading research sales, focusing on higher education and healthcare customers. As a Senior Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle, drive expansion with existing customers, and play a key role in shaping ŌURA’s strategy in the research space. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, sharing valuable insights to optimize our offerings and approach for the research market.

We have offices in San Francisco and San Diego for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. ŌURA employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and Own Research Sales Efforts: Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to contract negotiation, quote generation, and closing, focusing on academic institutions and healthcare organizations engaged in research.
• Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Efficiently manage a high volume of inbound leads, prioritize high-value opportunities, and accurately forecast sales revenue to drive optimal engagement and conversion within the research vertical.
• Account Expansion & Retention Strategy: Develop and execute account plans to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, working closely with existing customers to advance their research initiatives and ensure ongoing value from ŌURA’s solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Development, Legal, and Operations teams to meet customer needs, inform product optimization, and drive contractual and operational improvements for the research segment.
• Sales Strategy & Market Insights: Contribute to the evolution of ŌURA’s research strategy by monitoring market trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities, positioning ŌURA as a leader in the research market.
• Client Education & Presentations: Conduct tailored presentations and demonstrations for research customers, educating them on how ŌURA’s technology can advance their data collection and analysis goals.

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

• 7+ years in a full-cycle sales role, ideally within research, healthcare, or clinical trials. In-depth knowledge of academic and commercial research environments is essential.

• Research & Data Literacy:
  Proven ability to engage in discussions around data-driven research applications and address complex research use cases. Experience with wearable technology, particularly biometric sensing and data analysis is preferred. 
• Consultative Sales & Negotiation Skills:
  Demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to uncover customer needs and create tailored solutions, with strong negotiation skills to align ŌURA’s offerings with customer objectives.
• Pipeline & CRM Proficiency:
  Ability to manage multiple leads and varied sales cycles through efficient CRM usage (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), ensuring high conversion rates and long-term customer engagement.
• Adaptability in High-Growth Environments:
  Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth settings and demonstrates a “no job too big or small” mentality.
• Communication Skills:
  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders at all levels.

ŌURA takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. Please note that the compensation listed below reflects the base salary. This role is eligible for commission, structured as a 60/40 split. These ranges may be modified in the future.

• Region 1:  $144,000 base salary, $240k OTE
• Region 2:  $136,800 base salary, $228k OTE
• Region 3:  $129,600 base salary, $216k OTE

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director, Materials Planning to join Oura’s Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to the Materials Planning team, ensuring the seamless execution and communication of end-to-end material planning processes within our global Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and develop talent. The Director, Materials Planning will be critical in shaping and optimizing our supply chain as we build out our global operations, partnering closely with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), suppliers, and internal teams to bring our product vision to life.

What you will do:

• Manage the Clear-to-Build (CTB) process with suppliers and CMs, ensuring efficient processes and clear visibility on procurement strategy
• Drive the selection and implementation of an integrated end-to-end supply chain control tower/system to optimize WIP and component tracking, demand forecasting, supply management, and inventory planning.
• Proactively manage materials and reporting to maintain target levels, prevent stockouts, and identify risks, while recommending critical actions for E&O and other material issues. 
• Optimize the value chain planning process to reduce logistics and excess/obsolete inventory costs.

Collaboration and Strategic Development

• Work closely with Supply Chain leaders to enhance operational efficiency and support the development of supply chain strategies
• Lead and create a strategic framework to guide a team of material planners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Assess and communicate critical materials updates at weekly executive reviews; including materials risks and mitigation plans
• Establish critical and scalable improvement initiatives related to materials planning tools and processes
• Partner with CMs to develop models that incorporate specific supply chain and materials flow details to project availability
• Collaborate with Sourcing leadership to ensure seamless communication and coordination between teams to resolve issues

Materials Management and Optimization

• Provide strategic direction for material planning strategies that align with company goals and production schedules
• Work cross-functionally to identify and set target material levels across our global supply chain
• Create and maintain reporting that summarizes material levels, upcoming availability, risks to CM performance and all related issues that support these key performance indicators.
• Monitor and manage key operational and supply chain metrics, including MRP usage
• Create allocation strategies for constrained materials by developing models across factories and programs
• Act as an escalation point to resolve or minimize risk to the production plan or contract date.

This is a remote US role.

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Materials Planning, or Supply Planning, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience managing, leading, and developing a team in material program management, or procurement organization
• A background with consumer electronics, hardware, or medical device companies
• In-depth knowledge of MRP and ERP systems
• Experience implementing and working with integrated planning systems, such as supply chain control towers or centers of excellence
• Experience working with Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
• Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity, including the ability to establish and improve processes in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel; expertise working with large datasets
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Willingness to travel two to three times per quarter to Mexico and Finland
