Responsibilities

 

10 years of relevant work experience delivering IT solutions in a consulting environment. Must currently play a leadership or decision-making role on one or more technical teams, evaluating technologies or design patterns and overseeing their implementation from concept to working product. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience executing the following activities:

  • Leading the development of a solution architecture that supports all projects within a program while factoring in risks related to schedule, quality, and extensibility.
  • Conduct Decision Analysis and Resolution (DARs) for various Open Source and low code solutions with COTS technologies for newer solutions and features which are developing, such as choosing right candidates for Search Engine, ORM framework, Web framework, Database, Mobile, Bots, Document Management, and various other software/technologies.
  • Provide technical solutioning to legacy applications built using technologies like Java, Struts, Oracle Forms for futuristic modernization and enhancements.
  • Solution and Design new applications using modern technology stacks like Angular/REACT, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL Databases, Low-Code Solutions like Appian/Salesforce.
  • Researching, identifying, designing, and developing proof-of-concept solutions to address unmet needs with newer technologies and giving demos to program managers and product owners. i.e.: Kubernetes and Containers Implementation using AWS Services, Workflow and Rule Engine, Elastic Search, SSO integration, Logging Frameworks, APM Tools like AppDynamics, Splunk etc.
  • Day to day technical leadership - which would require you to attend stand-up calls, lead customer presentations and reviews, own complex technical features/epics and support the team for technical blockers, task breakdown and estimations.

Qualifications

Job Summary:

Precise is seeking an Appian Architect who will work closely with the Precise project team to establish a long-term vision, methodical way for approaching BPM initiatives, and achieving BPM maturity.  Responsibilities for this role include providing subject matter expertise on Appian BPM for BPM Initiatives across multiple programs, evaluating business requirements given by the system end-users and business stakeholders, interpreting and translating high-level requirements into design details,and planning concepts using provided information and materials. Activities will include design, development, architecture, implementation and support on end-to-end business applications with the Appian BPM platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise and leadership on Appian BPM for BPM Initiatives across multiple programs
  • Provide technical options with different approaches to meeting the stakeholders’ requirements and business priorities
  • Create Application utilities to be used in all the applications and identify opportunities for efficiency and reuse
  • Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements and operational strategy into a long-term, executable solution plan and roadmap
  • Work with business users to translate business requirements into technical designs to map and load data from source systems or the data warehouse into to the transactional database
  • Provide technical options with different approaches to meeting the stakeholders’ requirements and business priorities
  • Work with IT leadership to keep solutions in alignment with the future IT roadmap.
  • Able to contribute to hands-on development and support, Proof of Concept and demos as needed
  • Develop and implement the Appian and web-based applications
  • Provide technical guidance to other developers as needed
  • Develop applications in Appian business process management and integrate with other COTS products

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, business, management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10+ years of professional experience; or 8+ years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
  • Appian Level 1 or 2 Certified
  • Experience in Agile, Appian RPA/BPM, Java, API’s, Oracle DB
  • Experience with integrations with external systems
  • Experience with estimating and sizing Appian business requirements
  • Exemplary oral, written, interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
  • Passion for design, attention to detail, and punctuality
  • Ability to scope Appian Projects
  • Highly organized and deadline-driven; able to multitask

We are currently looking for a help desk technician to join our growing team. This position is remote. Successful candidate can clear a public trust and be a US Citizen.

This position is in support of a federal agency Hybrid Data Centers located in VA, WV and on Federal Cloud platform. The data center technology stack includes but not limited to Unix, Red Hat Linux, Windows, Citrix and Solaris Physical and Virtual Servers. These servers host mission critical applications running on IIS, Tomcat, WebLogic, Oracle, SQL Server, and AWS Cloud technologies. These mission critical applications are written in multiple programming languages like Java, PHP, .NET, HTML and Java Scripts and use SSO and other IAM authentical technologies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Able to handle, receive and respond to a mid-large size Data Center IT service email and phone calls and requests with a defined SLA.

· Triage, Troubleshoot the Data Center IT Service requests and provide Level 1 support and preferably Level 2 support.

· Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Have Knowledge of ITAM tool such as Nagios.

· Records and classifies received call tickets in ServiceNow and undertakes immediate effort to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

· Assigns unresolved calls, service requests, incidents and problems to appropriate support groups and escalate the incidents to supervisors and leadership before SLA breach.

· Proactive Communication and coordination with Level 2 and Level 3 support engineers and ensures the support request statuses are provided on timely basis as defined in SLA.

· Strong verbal and written communication experience and be able to create and write and disseminate mass email using the right communication templates

· Create weekly help desk metrics report

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· 3+ Experience in working in NOC or IT Data Center Environment.

· Strong Work Experience in working ITSM and ITAM tools like ServiceNow and Nagios

· Ability to support Level 1 and Level 2 IT Service Requests in a NOC or IT Data Center Environment.

· Strong and Clear Written and Verbal Communication skills

· Previous experience with Windows Administration, Unix Administration, Citrix Administration, or database strongly preferred

· If remote, must have a quiet undisturbed workspace for daily activities; office space available in Rockville MD

EDUCATION

· AA degree (or equivalent) with 2 to 4 years’ experience in the field or in a related area.

· Network, Server, ITIL or Cloud Entry Level Certification are preferre
