As the Head of Performance Marketing, you will play a critical role in defining and executing key strategic campaigns in growth and product marketing.

You will build and manage the team responsible for strategizing and executing multichannel campaigns to drive awareness, product signups and lead generation at scale globally

  • Create a category for Searchlight's data-driven offering - differentiated from the ATS, interview workflows, reference management, and other platforms in the talent acquisition landscape

  • Build Searchlight’s brand, messaging, and product positioning that establishes us as a thought leader in equitable, data-driven hiring

  • Prioritize, execute, and iterate on marketing campaigns to validate messaging and support GTM efforts (i.e

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to establish priorities, goals, and targets, and develop strategic and tactical plans to deliver on those targets

  • Develop the annual and quarterly campaign plan, collaborate with Product and Content Marketing teams to build the campaigns to acquire new users, new logos, and expand into existing accounts

Pulley's Customer Success Managers are responsible for the complete post-sales lifecycle of our users from implementation to retention, renewal, and scale. You will become a trusted advisor to our users and learn to deeply understand their business and their equity needs to help them grow. You will be our customer's internal advocate and help them maximize the value they get from Pulley. Few roles have such a direct impact on our customers and the growth of the company.

  • Lead the post-sale the engagement, retention, and growth of our customers. Own the metrics of retention and renewal with the account management team.

  • Manage and train a team of customer success agents.

  • Support expansion of your accounts–identify opportunities, drive business outcomes, ensure customers are successful in partnership with the account team.

  • Advocate for the customer to internal stakeholders. Share feedback and insights to improve the Pulley experience.

You will be dedicated to finding additional opportunities within current client accounts by establishing lasting relationships with key decision-makers. We’re a high-performing team looking for passionate, execution-focused, self-starters to help us build equity management tools for founders. Pulley is growing quickly with over 1600 customers including unicorns like Clubhouse, Birdies, Coda, and Fast - all within our first year of product launch. Our trajectory is fueled by top investors like Stripe, General Catalyst, Caffeinated Capital, 8vc, Elad Gil, among other great angels. All of our growth has been organic, and we’re growing the team to meet the demand.

We are team of 24 (and growing!) with four former Y Combinator founders on the team. Yin (founder) sold her last company to MSFT. We are solving a real need with a huge market and are looking for great folks to join our team.

???? Responsibilities

This role is a jack of all trades that will give you the opportunity to work cross functionally at a high growth, early stage startup. Your tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Identify high-potential businesses areas, and execute on go to market plans to make them successful.

  • Work with cross-functional in marketing, sales, and product to build and launch new features.

  • Develop and lead outbound campaigns from idea-generation through to email delivery.

  • Hire and train new associates to the team.

No experience necessary. New grads are welcome to apply. You may be a good fit for the associates role if:

  • You have strong written communication skills - critical for our remote-first team

  • You have a strong work ethic and willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver results

  • You thrive in bringing structure to highly ambiguous environments.

  • You have experience taking initiatives or products from idea to launch

  • Builds frameworks to tackle problems - can take the complexity and simplify them into simple frameworks to communicate to the team.

  • Understand data models - cap tables are a complex data model problem.

  • Knows how to prioritize - knows what to prioritize this week, month, quarter.

  • Write clear product specs that follows the skateboard → car approach to building

  • Talks to users and turn learnings into features to continuously improve the product

  • Default but not essential: Can build out a product team. Recruit & hire people to work with you. 

???? Qualifications & Fit

  • Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment

  • Strong written communication skills 

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver results

  • A high tolerance for ambiguity 

  • Ability to switch context and still deliver on core initiatives 

  • An engineering or quantitative background - we ship daily. You should be able to understand the technical trade-offs between building option A vs B.

  • Has an eye for good design - knows what good UX looks like.
