About the Role

This position will be responsible for managing established accounts as well as looking for new opportunities to grow the business. 

About you

Previous B2B experience within the chemical industry, water treatment or relevant field. You will be goal-oriented and competitive with good negotiating skills. Proven track record of developing new business as well as maintaining robust client relationships. Have the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally.

Essentials

  • You will have previous B2B experience within chemical/water treatment industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Strong closing and negotiating skills
  • Tertiary qualifications highly regarded in Business or Science (but not required)

About the role:
This role supports our Sales team, providing customer support and data entry of customer orders.

  • Processing customer orders via Redox’s in-house system
  • Provide phone/email support for customer service enquiries
  • Confidently liaise internally and externally with our transport, warehouse and sales team to ensure our customer deliveries are completed in a timely manner

About you:

You are forward thinking, possess excellent time management, problem solving and organisation skills, with high attention to detail. You demonstrate excellent communication skills – verbal and written with a polite and professional phone manner.

The Position

As an IT Support Officer on the Helpdesk you will be working with an expert team of IT systems engineers and developers at our head office in Minto. Serving our internal customers, you will provide support on a variety of IT hardware and software systems including desktops, laptops, printers, telephony, network & security devices, and a wide range software platforms. Within our Windows Active Directory environment you will be exposed to the latest technologies from Microsoft and other leading IT vendors. As your skill and confidence grow you will take responsibility for projects involving hardware and software upgrades/rollouts locally and across remote sites.

Daily tasks include;

  • Answer incoming calls and monitor support queues for the IT helpdesk
  • Triage support requests, troubleshoot and provide first / second level support
  • Escalate faults to third level Systems Engineers and external support contractors
  • Log, update and close tickets in IT helpdesk system (Zendesk)
  • Perform user adds/moves/changes in multiple IT systems
  • Installation, maintenance and monitoring of operating systems and software
  • Assist with IT procurement and maintenance of internal asset system and licence records
  • Writing technical documentation and How-To Guides.

About you

  • Australian/NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in an IT Helpdesk role
  • Tertiary qualification/s in IT (University, TAFE or Microsoft/Cisco certification)
  • Solid working knowledge of the latest Microsoft technologies and platforms
  • Ability to work independently and cohesively as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
