YOUR CHALLENGE

• Design and implement robust data models to support complex ad campaign measurement and analysis
• Leverage your expertise in data warehouse architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and scalability
• Utilize dbt (Data Build Tool) to automate data transformation processes and maintain data quality
• Develop and maintain the semantic layer, acting as a single source of truth for business users to access and understand campaign data
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest data from various sources (ad servers, DSPs, etc.)
• Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of information
• Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation

YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar data-focused role
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and principles
• Proven experience designing and implementing data warehouse solutions
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases
• In-depth knowledge of dbt and its capabilities in data transformation
• Familiarity with the concept of a semantic layer and its importance in data analysis
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

It would be a big plus if:

• Experience working in the ad tech industry
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

YOUR CHALLENGE

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

• Represent Seedtag to build relationships and partnerships with agency and direct customers for German campaigns
• Educating customers (advertisers & agencies) on product features and the benefits of Seedtag so they can apply our solutions to the challenges their customers face.
• Generate excitement about our digital advertising platform, and increase our product sales through original solutions and proactive pitches to clients.
• Develop a deep understanding of the agencies you are responsible for across all clients, verticals and internal agency teams - programmatic, planning, trading and buying.
• Identify new business opportunities and new ways of working to achieve preferred partnership status within your agencies.
• Achieve and overachieve your quarterly sales goals as set by your manager.
• Accurately forecast and report your monthly sales/close sales commercial pipeline.

YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF

• Have 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales in the German market within the digital advertising industry.
• Have established connections within the market, among large hubs and also media agencies.
• Can demonstrate a good level of knowledge of the digital media industry.
• Have strong communication skills and you are not afraid to take risks.
• Want to join a team and you are also able to work independently and autonomously.

ABOUT YOU

Your key responsibilities will be:

• You will be a key player in the development of a reliable data architecture for ingestion, processing, and surfacing of data for large-scale applications
  
• You will cooperate with other teams to unify data sources, as well as recommend and implement ways to improve data reliability, quality and integrity.
  
• You will start by processing data from different sources using tools such as SQL, MongoDB, and Apache Beam, and will be exploring and proposing new methods and tools to acquire new data.
  
• You will work with data science and data analytics teams, to help them improve their processes by building new tools and implementing best practices

• You will ensure continuous improvement in delivery, applying engineering best practices to development, monitoring, and data quality of the data pipelines.
  

We're looking for someone who:

• You have at least 5 years of solid experience in Data Engineering

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or another degree with a strong quantitative component.

• You are comfortable with object-oriented languages, such as Python or Scala, and you are fluent in working with a Linux terminal and writing basic bash scripts.

• You have ample experience with Data Engineering tools such as Apache Beam, Spark, Flink or Kafka.

• You have experience orchestrating ETL processes using systems such as Apache Airflow, and managing databases like SQL, Hive or MongoDB.
