Job Description

As a Senior Director of Enterprise Sales at Truewerk, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic B2B sales initiatives, developing strong relationships with enterprise-level clients, and leading a team of high-performing sales professionals. This role emphasizes a mission-driven, brand-forward approach to sales strategy, business development, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration, and contributes strongly to the success of our Enterprise division and achievement of overall company objectives.

What you'll do

Business Development and Relationship Management

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within target industries and verticals, leveraging your industry expertise, relationship building, and sales cycle management to secure key accounts and partnerships.
  • Lead future development of our enterprise business, including defining and optimizing target industries, sizes of accounts, customer segmentation, product assortment, and demand strategy.
  • Foster strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within enterprise accounts with a focus on hands-on account management and continued growth. Proactively address client needs, resolve issues, and anticipate future opportunities.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with clients and partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.

Sales Strategy and Optimization

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for enterprise-level accounts.
  • Manage department budget, compensation plan, and associated reporting and drive sales performance through effective pipeline management, sales forecasting, quota management, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, market dynamics, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and decision-making.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Provide sales enablement for the enterprise team, including creating and refining the sales process, training material and methodology, and team resources and collateral.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of enterprise sales professionals to drive performance and achieve sales objectives.
  • Provide input and feedback to product development teams based on customer insights and market feedback.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales with a strong history of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • 3+ years experience in Sales Leadership with demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams
  • Experience selling into end-user accounts (as opposed to selling through resellers/distributors)
  • A proven track record of strategic sales plan development and compensation plan development
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience selling physical goods, specifically apparel, uniforms, or tools, particularly those involving seasonal or periodic replenishment
  • Prior success selling to our target audience will be extremely beneficial

Technical Skills

  • Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
  • Ability to analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets)
  • An understanding of logistics and KPIs related to the sales of tangible goods (lead time, order cycle time, stockout rate, on-time delivery, etc.)
  • Proficiency in CRM and ERP software preferred (HubSpot, Netsuite)

  • Familiarity with or a passion for the skilled trades strongly preferred

We’re looking for an up-and-coming Paid Marketing Manager or Associate Manager near Denver, CO to help shape and optimize our Advertising Channel Strategy. 

This junior role involves driving impactful creative outcomes, strategically expanding channels, and leveraging customer insights to enhance paid channel efficiency. With a keen focus on insightful reporting and analytics, you’ll contribute to data-driven decision-making, ensuring alignment with departmental goals. 

You’ll excel in comprehensive agency management, overseeing key digital platforms, and fostering collaboration with agency partners to drive continuous optimization. Your commitment to excellence will extend to meticulous budget management, delivering measurable contributions to overall marketing performance and organizational success.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Performance Marketing and works closely with the eCommerce team, Marketing team, advertising agencies, and vendors of Truewerk.

The position is based in Denver, CO with flexibility to work remotely based on business needs. 

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 per year base salary

What you’ll do

Advertising Channel Strategy

  • Develop creative briefs for paid advertisements, promotional collateral, and new channel assets.
  • Explore, assess, and expand new channels, tactics, and creative methodologies to enhance the efficiency of paid channels. (Reddit, TikTok, etc.)
  • Establish and sustain a continuous feedback loop for results, emphasizing the identification of drivers of effective ad creative to inform better creative outcomes and performance.

Agency Management

  • Take ownership of day-to-day agency and vendor management, focusing on Television, SEM, Paid Social, Affiliates and other key digital platforms.
  • Lead ongoing optimization efforts across key advertising and marketing channels in collaboration with agency partners.
  • Direct and guide agency partners through monthly and quarterly planning and revenue and efficiency forecasting.
  • Facilitate the seamless exchange of ad trafficking and collateral between internal teams and agency resources.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Define, manage, and track monthly, quarterly, and annual advertising budgets.
  • Generate insightful and actionable reports to guide agency tactics, creative insights, paid ad efficiency, and overall marketing performance.
  • Measure and report on the efficacy of marketing campaigns, extracting insights and assessing alignment with departmental and organizational goals.
  • Analyze customer and audience insights, devising and testing innovative targeting and creative approaches to connect with the Truewerk target customer.

Project Management, Technical Integrations

  • Collaborate on technical implementation with site operations and agencies to ensure accurate and reliable ad performance measurement. (Pixel implementation, Shopify integrations, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with the CRM team to seamlessly integrate and evaluate new first-party audiences and share insights on performance
  • Partner with the site operations team to implement, maintain, and audit tracking technologies, including UTM, and ensure accuracy of on-site measurement. 

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

Experience and Education

  • 3+ years in Marketing
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • A career encompassing goal-oriented, quantitative roles in media or marketing 
  • Experience with both ad agency and brand side for DTC ecommerce brands preferred
  • Apparel or similar softgoods or hardgoods experience a plus
  • ​​Prior experience with paid search preferred 
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines

Technical Skills

  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center,  SEMRush)
  • Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Working knowledge of ad tracking pixels and ad measurement tools
  • Exhibited comfort with analytics (Google sheets, Excel)
  • Experience with Project Management tools preferred (Monday.com, Asana, Trello)
