The role

As a Vitable senior full-stack software engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with the clinical and product teams to design, architect, and build features within our patient, clinical, and employer applications. You'll develop and own high-quality code across all levels of the stack while you create solutions to complex problems faced by any of our 3 customers (Members, Clinicians, and Employers). It's a thrilling opportunity to drive meaningful change in our members' lives. Our current tech stack is:

  • Server : Python (Django), Postgres, deployed on AWS

  • Web : VueJS

  • Mobile : Flutter

Our tech stack will evolve and change over time as we build more things - we're looking for folks with experience in equivalent technologies and that are passionate about learning & adapting to new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Build our core engineering infrastructure, including new product features and enhancements.
  • Work closely across different business functions, incorporating data from our operations, customer success, sales, and clinical teams in order to craft magical solutions to the most pressing problems.
  • Redesign a generally complex industry and empower thousands, and eventually millions of people to get access to robust, affordable, and delightful healthcare experiences.

Qualifications

  • You have a strong sense of ownership and you're comfortable driving the development of an entire part of the product all the way from design to implementation.
  • You are comfortable working with the business and clinical teams here at Vitable to understand the challenges they face and quickly build out sustainable solutions to solve their problem
  • You are comfortable bouncing between multiple different languages/frameworks on a day-to-day basis. Going from Python to Javascript to Dart is a typical day at Vitable.
  • You have strong communication skills and are collaborative, especially when teammates are faced with new challenges.
  • You have designed, built, and maintained production services.
  • You are comfortable researching new technologies and spinning things up from scratch.
  • You are aware of developer best practices and can carry them out to contribute to our efforts of improving our engineering team's current practices as a whole. This means writing thoughtful clean code, participating in code reviews, helping us streamline our day-to-day dev ops, automated testing, CI/CD, etc...

The role

We're seeking a Customer Marketing Manager to be the go-to marketer for the Customer Success team in driving employee activation and engagement of Vitable within the employee bases at the employers we partner with. This critical marketing role will involve understanding both employer and employee needs, working with CSMs to develop user engagement plans for employer accounts, and executing on those plans by developing custom user engagement materials like flyers, email newsletters, etc.

This role primarily involves marketing to end-users, so the ideal candidate is someone who is user-obsessed and is a strong writer who knows how to distill complex (clinical) information into digestible resources using an approachable tone. Healthcare can be quite complex and seem inaccessible and this role requires deep empathy for the hourly workers that utilize our coverage, to authentically communicate and provide resources that resonate.

Responsibilities

  • You will be the first Customer Marketing hire and will help build the customer communications infrastructure and become the resident expert on our members, their employers, and their motivations, goals, and behaviors.
  • You will own the employee enrollment/conversion rates when we partner with new employers and own the continued engagement to drive utilization.
  • Develop user engagement resources to help employers we work with effectively communicate and drive the adoption of Vitable Health to their employees.
  • You'll regularly work with our clinical team to quickly create impactful and digestible resources for members on things that will drive value like diabetes management and nutrition.
  • You'll work with our demand gen and product team to create content for our newsletters and other campaigns.
  • Partner with customer success to find and build moving customer stories and build social proof via testimonials and videos.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in marketing with at least 2 years in a user engagement marketing role
  • Experience developing user engagement materials (i.e. flyers, slides, emails, posters, videos, etc.)
  • Excellent writing skills, particularly in the context of end-user communication and engagement
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in building marketing campaigns from the ground up, with a focus on driving customer behaviors at key points in the customer journey
  • Deep empathy and excitement to work with uninsured and under-insured workers

The Role

We are looking for passionate, assertive, and confident sales hunters to join us as account executives selling to SMBs in Delaware and Pennsylvania. Drive real, meaningful change for employers and their employees and work with a team that values hard work and collectively celebrating wins.

Responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibility will be to identify and qualify leads by identifying pain points with the ability to show value of the Vitable solution.
  • After 90-day benchmark is achieved, you will be tasked with reaching a monthly quota with SMB accounts in your assigned territory
  • You will own the sales cycle as follows: Qualify | Discover | Present | Propose | Close 
  • Create and execute a territory plan
  • Qualifying inbound leads from marketing
  • Hunt for new leads in a geographic territory via outbound prospecting
  • Overcome objections which prevent our customers from capturing our benefits
  • Work with our inbound marketing and sales team to refine our message and customer profiles
  • Providing feedback for new product features
  • Be a strong team player and act as an owner of the business
  • Love our customers. We exist to provide value to our customers.

Qualifications

  • Confidence to pick up the phone and make sales calls. Success in this role is directly correlated to time spent on the phone, out in the field, and talking to potential customers.
  • 4-5 years experience in a hunter role. Proven track record. President's Club. A-Players. 
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, curious, and interested in experimenting with new techniques to improve our sales process. Our BDR’s have the freedom to test new techniques to improve the existing sales process.
  • Superior listening skills. Even though we spend a majority of time on the phone, success in this role requires empathy and the ability to hear what customers have to say. Our outbound teams spend over 50% of their time listening, rather than talking.
  • An ability to present real business value to our customers. Our solution solves real, quantifiable problems for our customers. Can you help them see it?
  • Familiarity with modern sales tech stack: CRMs, (we use HubSpot but experience with others are fine) Notion, Slack, etc.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry and/or health insurance industry is a plus.
  • BA/BS from an accredited 4-year university, or equivalent experience
