Position Purpose

The Creative Specialist is responsible for the production and implementation of creative and content assets across multiple platforms within Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA). Reporting directly to the Director of Creative and Content, the Creative Specialist will play a key role in developing innovative creative design and content to enhance brand awareness and further the mission of BBBSA. They will oversee relationships with external creative vendors and manage the BBBSA digital asset management platform as well as the production of specific content.

Location: United States (100% Remote)

Travel:Approximately 20%

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • In consult with the Director, Creative and Content and/or the Chief Marketing Officer, serves as primary lead of branding efforts for BBBSA through creative and content production including but not limited to graphic design and creation of templates, reports, logos, presentations, guidelines, photography, videos, and animations, and much more using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere), Microsoft Office, Asana, Brandfolder, SharePoint and Google Docs.
  • Creates a variety of visual content for websites, video, print, advertising, or other forms of media.
  • Develops visual content and platform for presentations supporting internal and external purposes.
  • Designs graphics/overlays and produces gifs, basic animations and cinemagraphs.
  • Ensures brand compliance is maintained at the national and local agency level.
  • Serves as a main point of contact for all questions regarding branding to all local Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) agencies and manages multiple alias email accounts to provide customer support to those agencies.
  • Researches best practices and creative/content trends to further the BBBSA mission, builds strategic relationships, and partners with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
  • Manages the full development and implementation of a wide range of creative and content materials, including logos, brochures, mailings, social media graphics, videos, reports, calendars, brand standards, etc. Sometimes this will include being the sole owner and creator of these assets.
  • Oversees production of content; May include managing the team of people who work on the project, including graphic designers, writers, and video producers; May also be responsible for managing the budget for the project and ensuring that the project meets the goals of the company.
  • Serves on the planning team for the Big Brother Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) National Conference and is a key stakeholder on all things related to branding, marketing, content, and execution of the conference every year.
  • Provides BBBSA digital asset management platform, Brandfolder creative and content training to BBBS agencies throughout the year.

Production & Traffic

  • Creates detailed schedules in Asana (or other project management platform) as assigned; manages deadlines for various stages of creative and content projects; Produce and adhere to a monthly creative & content calendar.
  • Collaborates with the Director, Creative and Content and other Marketing department leadership to distribute assignments to creative team resources (Internal and external), depending on their availability and priorities.
  • Manages follow up and may at times initiate meetings with internal clients to learn more about new project details and give progress updates on existing projects, communicating any issues.
  • Monitors assigned projects and workloads, adjusting assignments and deadlines accordingly.
  • Manages BBBSA digital asset management platform, Brandfolder.
  • Manages related and other duties as assigned in support of department and business needs.

Position Purpose

The Director, Cause Marketing (D-CM) will be a direct report to the Senior Director, Cause Marketing and will have primary responsibility for leading and supporting activities associated with corporate cause marketing activities. The D-CM will be an active contributor to the fundraising efforts at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) and will provide the leadership and expertise required to grow the organization’s capabilities around cause marketing, both at the National and local Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBSA) Agency level.

BBBSA currently has a diverse and active portfolio of accounts, and this role aims to deepen and develop those partnerships while also continuing to prospect and launch new, innovative alliances. To do so, the D-CM will have four priority work areas: 1) Stewarding existing cause marketing and corporate development partnerships 2) Building out and executing fundraising concepts associated with new cause marketing partnerships 3) Supporting the overall growth goals for annual campaign revenue and 4) Ensuring all components of assigned partnerships are achieved, tracked, and maintained at best-in-class standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively lead and manage the day-to-day processes related to the strategic development, design, execution, and evaluation of BBBSA’s existing cause marketing/corporate development accounts.
  • Build pipeline of prospects to generate partnership relationships of $250,000+, with portfolio accountability of $4,000,000+, including new revenue achievement annually of $500,000+.
  • Research and identify top prospects to support growth goals associated with BBBSA’s cause marketing initiatives (point of sale (POS) omni-channel campaigns). Develop plans for entry, solicitation and securing new business partners.
  • Identify and assist with POS technology needs and system supports used in corporate partner fundraising and cause marketing strategies.
  • Engage leaders throughout the BBBS Agency Network in National plans for executing integrated partnership opportunities and to bring fundraising proposals/agreements to scale.
  • Develop and maintain proposal/presentation resources, as well as a cause-marketing specific resource library used in pitching prospective partners, with the goal of supporting incremental revenue, awareness, and impact at the National level and amongst the BBBSA Network of 230+ local agencies.
  • Create and maintain corporate sales associate/employee engagement best practice templates and tactics to assist BBBSA corporate partners in the execution of cause marketing campaigns.
  • Initiate collaborative work with all BBBSA team members, including integrated marketing, public relations, creative, web, communications, celebrities, advertising, etc. to produce comprehensive cause marketing strategies that build awareness and drive consumer engagement for cause partnerships. Look for opportunities for extreme collaboration with other teams to amplify partnerships, brand message and understanding.
  • In collaboration with Resource Development team members, track the status and deliverables for each partner as it relates to contractual agreements (fund distribution, number of communications, resources provided, etc.). Assist corporate partners with solution development and management of key performance indicators.
  • Maintain current knowledge of philanthropic brands and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategies to develop and help deploy partnership proposals that align with corporate giving trends. Ensure activation concepts align with mission-centered engagements, employee engagement, and consumer activation trends.
  • Attend relevant corporate partner and BBBSA events, conferences, or webinars to discover new initiatives and/or to identify prospects aligned to BBBSA strategic growth plans.
  • Support the key deliverables of the Corporate Development team including conference sponsorship, year-end giving, key affinity month activations, donor impact and reporting (annual report, society recognition), 3rd party resources, internal systems alignment, and Network activations.

Position Purpose

As a direct report of the Chief Development Officer, the Senior Director, Corporate Engagement will be responsible for leading the activation and account management of secured funders within corporate, foundation, and organizational structures funded through grants, mission-aligned partnerships, or sponsorship for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA). Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Direct Account Management:

  • Successfully lead and activate large scale partners who individually generate $1M+ in nationwide fundraising annually through complex integrated plans, ranging from sponsorship to grant based funding.
  • Develop and execute strategies to effectively manage partners, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, timely reporting, and successful implementation of funded activations.
