Description:
The Assets team within Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions services business develops designs and proposals for short- and long-term water treatment projects for industrial water treatment, mainly for pure and process water applications, primarily using an existing fleet of mobile and containerised water treatment plants.
Our work scope is diverse and varied, including emergency deployments, routine applications, and complex projects based on multiple technologies such as Filtration, Ultrafiltration, Reverse Osmosis, Electrodeionization, Ion Exchange etc. We also design and propose long-term agreements for Veolia-owned water treatment plants based on mobile / containerised units.
Our Service Centre for Europe is based in Peterborough, UK with projects located and executed all across Europe.
Main Tasks
The main responsibility of a Commercial Engineer is to lead project opportunities from inquiry to order, with ethical integrity and creative thinking, to develop safe & effective water treatment solutions for our Customers.
The role includes assisting the Sales team with initial lead qualification, development of opportunities through technical and commercial guidance, process design development (often in consultation with experts in global teams), cost model evaluation, and pricing with commercial awareness of the market.
Commercial Engineering scope includes creation of Customer-facing proposals and supporting documents (sometimes including public tender deliverables), identification of technical improvements, performance of system audits etc. Our proposals are developed in close collaboration with the country based operational teams.
- Thorough analysis of customer request & requirement
- When required audit of existing assets: collection of existing information and improvement identification
- Development of all relevant technical documents: Process Description, Process Flow Diagram, Process & Instrumentation Diagram etc.
- When required, consultation of sub-contractors and evaluation of their offers
- Sales assistance during customer meetings (including travel to sites in Europe)
- Establishment of scope of supply and all associated costs (install, commissioning, service, consumables, chemicals, labor, 3rd party supply, freight etc.)
- Identification and mitigation of project associated risks with a strong focus on health and safety, and environmental protection
- Proposal development with a strong focus on value proposition
- Creating attractive documents & presentations in line with brand guidelines
- Presentation of complete package to Veolia Leadership for review & approval
Additionally, team members establish a strong internal network of collaborators, demonstrate negotiation skills in Customer meetings, understand contracts and commercial language of terms and conditions, and respect internal compliance and delegation of authority procedures.
Requirements :
Master’s or Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical or environmental engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in water and/or wastewater operation (services), engineering, or bid management
Previous experience in an industrial field is a preference
Fluent in English AND French (written and verbal) - Mandatory
Additional language skills will give a significant advantage (especially , Italian, German, Dutch)
Ability to travel occasionally, within the EU and UK, driving license desirable
Other Qualifications
Previous relevant experience would include Application Engineering, Bid Management, Sales or Business Development, with elements of :
On-site services experience
Knowledge of contract law and Terms and Conditions language
Familiarity with water outsourcing contracts
Basic understanding of Finance and accounting principles
Previous technical experience with water / wastewater treatment services is beneficial
Personal skills
Team player – this is a role strongly connected with others and built on daily communication – be able to work in a matrix organization, with persons located in different countries
Good understanding of Customer mindsets and ability to shape the design & proposal to address their needs and priorities
Friendly communication and interpersonal skills are essential
Ability to work on own initiative and independently is required

Quelles sont les tâches quotidiennes ?

Définir, mettre en œuvre et superviser des plans d'amélioration afin d'accroître les résultats en matière de performance des contrats,

Gérer, maintenir et assurer l'intégrité et la qualité des données dans le système Salesforce CRM,

What are the day to day duties for the Business Graduate - Sales Operations?
Support and facilitate vendor and customer detail qualification, including providing contract renewal support to sales team, including price approval and logistics. Assist in new contract set-up and transformation of customer details.
Monitor expiring contracts and liaise with sales leadership to drive earlier renewals. Update sales managers on expired opportunities. Support hierarchy tool management and provide 1st level support and local training for business IT tools.
Coordinate customer satisfaction survey actions and feedback. Drive value generation and best practice sharing platforms. Act as an escalation focal point from Sales to Supply Chain.

Experience in sales of high rate anaerobic treatment systems to industrial users is a plus

Description du poste :
Au sein de l’équipe VWTS ES Services et rattaché·e Directeur Régional Sud, vous veillerez à ce que la qualité de service rendu soit conforme aux obligations contractuelles. Vous préparerez et anticiperez le renouvellement des contrats. Vous assurerez également une analyse des risques liés au périmètre des contrats et aux engagements contractuels.

En tant que Responsable performance contrats régional, vous serez amené·e à :
- Veiller à l’exécution des contrats de la région pour être conforme aux
engagements contractuels,
- Définir le plan d'amélioration de la marge en utilisant toutes les ressources
nécessaires,
- Assurer la revue des contrats à travers les thèmes majeurs, notamment la
QHSE, la performance financière et technique, l’amélioration continue, etc.
- S’assurer que les bonnes pratiques de Contract Management soient appliquées
sur les contrats existants et les futurs contrats,
- Participer à la définition de la feuille de route régionale (stratégie de
développement au niveau des territoires et plan de renouvellement), en lien
avec les Responsables de territoires et le Directeur Régional,
- Surveiller et réduire les risques et améliorer les performances liées aux

Qualifications :

Vous justifiez d’une expérience confirmée dans la réalisation de projets de services complexes et multidisciplinaires dans le domaine du traitement des eaux qui vous donne une bonne compréhension de l'élaboration et de l'exécution des contrats de service.
Vous êtes capable d’adapter votre communication aux différentes parties-prenantes et aux

Key Responsibilities:
Gathers, structures, and analyzes data from multiple sources, presenting the results of data in a secure, usable format. Provides insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Builds reliable, accurate, and cross-matched reports for data research, troubleshooting, and data audits
Designs, develops, and manages new reports and dashboards designed to provide management a view into people HR metrics and ensure the timely development and distribution of established periodic reports aligned with data privacy policies and secure delivery methods. Designs and creates dashboards/scorecards for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
Works closely with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting needs. Provides feedback and user/technical specifications regarding the design of reports and dashboards for leadership
Performs analysis of data gaps and work with relevant stakeholders to recommend solutions
Researches and troubleshoots data issues to ensure data quality. Develops and maintains data dictionaries and documentation.
Expands and enhances analytics capability, continues to improve processes, explore/adopt new tools. Collaborates with various business partners on project requests, prioritization, and delivery.
Uses business applications and statistical/analytical tools to develop interactive presentations and data visualizations.
Trains and supports team members on data analysis and reporting tools.
About You:
Proven experience in data analysis and reporting roles
Proficiency in data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Visier, Prism, etc.)
Solid experience working in SAP SuccessFactors Reporting and Analytics tools
Hands-on experience with SF People Analytics tools (Story, Canvas, Tiles, and Dashboard Reports)
Ability to analyze standard out of the box reports to map to legacy reports, develop custom reports and guide customers on KPIs and develop meaningful insights
Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Business and system analysis skills
HR domain knowledge and experience
Technology aptitude and learning ability
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including conflict resolution
Position requires strong collaboration skills, proactively partnering across the organization
Attention to detail, process orientation, and ability to provide detailed documentation required
Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and ability to effectively scope technical parameters and anticipate impact required

Core Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, HR, or Data Science or equivalent experience. Master Degree preferred.
Four or more years of analysis and reporting, preferably in an HR environment
Preferred:
Preferred certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM CP, SHRM SCP, Workday Pro, SuccessFactors SFX
Can be fully remote with 10% travel for key meetings or hybrid.

Ability and willingness to travel within the territory as required and reside in the assigned region or within customer proximity requirements.
Willingness to work in a heavy industrial environment, using Personal Safety Equipment and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and other irritants.
Basic computer skills in MS Office and other software programs within a Windows environment, along with a valid driver's license and willingness to submit to a check of driving record for roles requiring company vehicle operation.
Other Useful Skills and Abilities:
Experience in technical sales in the Water Treatment/Water Process industry and working knowledge of HPI/CPI Process industry.
Strong analytical ability, effective time and budget management skills, and communication skills (written and verbal) with a demonstrated sales record.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, combined with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Field Service Representative - Ultra Filtration & Membrane Bioreactor
As a Field Service Representative, you will safely provide commissioning and aftermarket support to a diverse group of industrial and municipal customers primarily focused on our ultrafiltration (UF) and membrane bioreactor (MBR) product line.
What you will be responsible for:
-Review customer plant installations and compare against VWTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)
-Monitor equipment performance and operation
-Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on various treatment plant instrumentation
-Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
-Carry out mechanical, electrical, process and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors pumps, blowers, instrumentation, and automation hardware
-Perform installation & maintenance activities on various UF membrane configurations
-Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system
-Provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed during service visits
What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required):
-High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
-Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, Controls or programming and/or water treatment equipment including ultrafiltration and/or membrane bioreactors
-Working experience with PLC control systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting is preferred
-Ability to travel extensively- primarily in the U.S.
-Valid Driver’s License
-Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
-Strong oral and written communication skills
