Employee Relations Advisor

Kuno Creative is hiring a Remote Employee Relations Advisor

The Employee Relations Advisor will play a vital role in fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. This role will focus on performance management, conflict resolution, and training initiatives while ensuring compliance with employment laws and policies. Reporting directly to senior leadership, they will serve as a trusted advisor and a critical contributor to employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Management

  • Design and conduct regular performance reviews, incorporating standardized rubrics to ensure fairness and consistency, and provide constructive feedback to employees.
  • Create and implement individualized employee development plans based on performance evaluations and company goals to enhance professional growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with managers to set clear, measurable performance expectations, track progress, and identify areas for improvement, including recommending Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) or terminations as necessary.

Conflict Resolution

  • Mediate workplace disputes with empathy and professionalism, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Serve as an advisor to employees and managers on workplace concerns and best practices for resolution.
  • Handle sensitive issues, including terminations and investigations, with discretion and compliance.

Training and Development

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs for onboarding and continuous development.
  • Create materials to address skill gaps and foster employee advancement.
  • Lead workshops and sessions to strengthen management capabilities in employee relations.

Employee Engagement

  • Promote communication, trust, and transparency between employees and leadership.
  • Drive employee recognition initiatives and foster an inclusive company culture through events and activities.

HR Systems and Compliance

  • Manage relevant employee data and processes using HRIS systems or other software
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in employee relations, HR, or similar roles.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; however, relevant HR experience combined with professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) will also be considered

Skills

  • Expertise in conflict resolution and performance management techniques.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver impactful training programs.
  • Ability to facilitate agreements between parties in a dispute.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain discretion when handling sensitive employee information. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively navigate sensitive conversations and build trust
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and data analysis.

Kuno Creative is hiring a Remote Content Strategist

The Content Strategist will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive content strategies for our clients, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, marketing objectives, and audience needs. This position focuses on creating strategic content that drives engagement, builds brand awareness, and supports lead generation. Reporting to the Content Director, the Content Strategist will be a client-facing contributor, managing multiple content projects while ensuring a seamless and impactful storytelling process.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Lead the content strategy for assigned clients by conducting persona research as needed and establishing brand guidelines, including brand messaging pillars, value proposition, and voice and tone. Write website copy that aligns with those guidelines.
  • Assist clients with setting goals, and develop and execute campaigns to achieve them, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to develop editorial calendars and campaign plans that align with broader goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing strategist to meet or exceed objectives for the client while creating new opportunities for revenue growth for Kuno. 
  • Work with clients, in-house writers, freelancers and artificial intelligence tools as needed to complete deliverables in a timely manner. Work with Kuno’s digital content editor to provide clear and consistent feedback to ensure all content provides value, maintains brand guidelines and achieves stated goals.

Performance & Optimization

  • Report on key performance indicators related to content and offer recommendations for improvement. 
  • Research and recommend new, engaging content formats for Kuno and its clients, such as assessments, calculators and interactive software demos.
  • Identify the best strategies for promoting content to improve visibility. 
  • Monitor conversions closely and identify opportunities for conversion optimization on clients’ websites, landing pages, ads and other content

Technology Integration

  • Input and optimize blogs and content assets using HubSpot or other CMS platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred.    
  • Certifications from HubSpot Academy or similar platforms are a bonus.

Job-Specific Requirements

  • Strong understanding of branding, content strategy principles, SEO best practices, and digital marketing trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft strong value propositions, website copy, and content tailored to various audiences and platforms.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering an environment of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
