We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Seasonal Buyer to drive the growth and profitability of our Garden Furniture and BBQ categories. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selecting and sourcing high-performing product ranges, optimizing stock levels, and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive buying strategy for the Garden Furniture and BBQ categories to achieve sales and margin targets
  • Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity to inform range selection and pricing decisions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to secure the best products, prices, and terms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and supply chain, to ensure successful product launches and promotions
  • Monitor and report on category performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Manage the category budget, forecasting accurately and controlling costs to deliver profitable growth

We are seeking an experienced Timber Sales Manager to join us. The role involves securing new customers and maintaining existing customer relationships, and collaborating with our NPD team on product ideas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling machined softwood products, an established industry contact list, and the ability to meet sales targets. We are considering office, hybrid and remote options for this role depending on candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure new customers in the builders, timber merchants, construction companies, shed manufacturers, and decking wholesalers sectors.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the New Product Development team on product ideas and innovations.
  • Report weekly sales KPIs to the Site Manager.
  • Develop and implement effective cold calling strategies to generate new business.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly sales targets and goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
