Responsibilities:

  • Upload product listings to our online platforms.
  • Create compelling titles and descriptions for each product, leveraging SEO keywords to enhance visibility.
  • Utilize tools like ChatGPT to streamline the creation of product descriptions and listings.
  • Select the best images for each product, ensuring they are high-quality and accurately represent the product.
  • Position products effectively to maximize sales potential.
  • Ensure that 250 product listings are created and uploaded each week.
  • Monitor and update existing listings to improve SEO and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align product listings with overall brand strategy.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in creating and uploading product listings, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to product listings.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance productivity.
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to select and edit images to enhance product listings.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to meet weekly listing targets consistently.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, eBay, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role within the e-commerce industry.
  • Knowledge of graphic design or photo editing software.
  • Strong analytical skills to track and improve listing performance.

Compensation: 

25,000 - 50,000 KES depending on experience.

  •  Properly categorize products and add relevant tags to improve website navigation and search functionality, making it easier for customers to find what they're looking for.
  • Provide options for customers to select their preferred variant for products that come in different sizes & colors.

Product Sourcing:

  • Source for products to list based on our niche, target audience, and market research.
  • Research potential sellers with unique & high-quality alternative products & make suggestions on whether to onboard them or not.

Inventory Management:

  • Update product listings accurately & in real time to reflect stock availability.

Market Research:

  • Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity so as to make data-driven decisions about our product listings.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure product listings align with overall branding and promotional efforts.

Documentation:

  • Keep records and documentation of product data, changes, and updates for auditing & reference.

Quality Control:

  •  Conduct regular checks to ensure that product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and free of errors. This includes verifying product specifications, pricing, and any other details.
