PTW is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior VFX Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating stunning visual effects for video games, with a strong understanding of the latest industry tools and techniques. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Create high-quality visual effects (VFX) including explosions, fire, smoke, water, and magical effects that enhance the gaming experience.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Unity and Unreal Particle System.
  • Experience with the CASCADE interface in Unreal.
  • Examples of Flipbooks VFX in your portfolio and stylised effects.
  • Experience of using industry-standard content creation software (e.g. Maya, 3ds Max, Photoshop, Substance) to create assets to use in-engine.
  • Strong understanding of Real-time VFX techniques and pipeline.
  • Experience with various supplemental 3D and VFX authoring packages (Maya, Houdini, Substance, etc.)
  • Portfolio that demonstrates a breadth of both technical and artistic execution of real-time VFX.
  • Strong understanding optimizing VFX for console and mobile game development.

Pole To Openings is hiring a Remote Player Support Representative (Part-Time) Bacolod Based

Join our team as a Tier-1 Player Support Representative. You will be part of a team providing chat and email support for gamers by maintaining positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards players and delivering high level of experience.

In this part-time role, you'll have theflexibility to choose shifts or time based on your availability.

Service Duration: The service shall span a period of six months.

Pre-project Training: You shall undergo a paid training as needed prior to participating in the project.

Refresher Training: You shall maintain and update your knowledge by participating in refresher training every X weeks/days without any compensation, as a prerequisite for continuing their services with PTW.

Work Schedule:Your work schedule will be flexible, with shifts made available for your selection according to your preference. However, you shall agree and understand that the allotment of shifts shall purely be on a first come-first served basis. The schedule will be forecasted on a weekly basis from Sunday to Saturday, inviting all participating freelancers to self-schedule.

Schedule Changes: While the forecasted schedule may undergo minimal changes (additional or removal), you will be notified promptly of any alterations.

Grab Shift: You agree to grab a minimum of 6 to 8 hours daily or a total of at least 30 to 40 hours weekly. The minimum requirement will not apply during periods of low service demand. Such period will be determined at the sole discretion of PTW.

Commencement of the Project: Successful completion of the pre-project training period, and one (1) week nesting period is a must. PTW shall be liable to compensate the Consultant as specified in the payment summary details for services rendered.

You are required to submit a BIR registered service invoice every month (You must be a registered Freelancer/Individual Contractor).

Responsibilities:

  • Promptly respond and help players with their questions, queries, and problems either via email and/or chat.
  • Resolve player complaints and problems by quickly identifying the issue, troubleshoot effectively, provide accurate information, and follow up to ensure correct resolution.
  • Explain and guide customers through product features and functionalities.
  • Stay focused on the quality by ensuring consistency and adherence to high standards.
  • Communicating, coordinating & collaborating with team members and colleagues to provide customers with best possible solution to their problem.
  • Maintain an average handle time of 8 minutes on email and 12 minutes on chat.
  • Handle up to three concurrent chats while working on chat channel.
  • To deliver customer satisfaction level of 70% or above.
  • Participate in daily pre-shift huddles/meetings to remain up to date with any changes in policies and process.

The Lead Software Programmer role is an additional responsibility typically assigned to a Software Programmer or Sr. Software Programmer. In addition to direct programming, this position provides hands-on, technical programming support to a Ghostpunch project development team, assisting the Producer and Director of Technology in affecting the most competent and efficient utilization of programming resources

allocated to that team. As the assigned Lead this person is empowered, accordingly, to provide general guidance and input to fellow programmers on that same team regarding the quality and technical

aspects of the work produced. Provides input to the Producer as to how best to efficiently utilize and schedule technical resources to help ensure an efficient workflow throughout the duration of the

project. As team Programming adviser this person assists the Producer in making sure that the overall quality of Ghostpunch programming is consistently equal to and/or greater than the standards

established by the Director of Technology, carrying out those duties with minimal supervision. In addition to hands-on programming duties, the Lead Software Programmer assists in other management duties such as scoping projects, writing tech docs, and personnel evaluation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish a solid working relationship with the Director of Technology, team programmers and their assigned Producer.
  • Provide leadership and general technical guidance to fellow Software Engineers assigned to their development team.
  • Participate in the game programming design process.
  • Maintain regular communication with other game development disciplines (i.e. Art, Design and audio) in order to determine how their efforts will affect a game’s programming.
  • Write and debug core engine and game code.
  • Write advanced tools and other utilities to support work on projects.
  • Anticipate, identify and articulate problem areas and develop preventative solutions.
  • Assist less experienced Software Engineers with various tasks as needed.
  • Accurately estimate the amount of time needed to complete each task assigned.
  • Provide input as to the project’s technical feasibility and helps the Producer and Lead Designer to ensure that the project design, artwork, sound etc. fits within the technical requirements of the platforms.
  • Responsible for creating the Technical Design Document (TDD) breaking down the project into modules and designing links between those modules. Work with the Producer to incorporate any changes to the TDD.
  • Work with the Lead Artist to set up a directory structure to be used by all team members for the duration of the project and archiving.
  • Proactively inform the Producer of potential changes to the work schedule, resource requirements, and any situation/condition that may adversely affect group dynamics and/or morale of the Software Engineers assigned to the project.
  • Under the direction of the Producer, schedule and coordinate the team's programming resources so as to ensure an efficient work flow throughout the duration of the project.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess superior oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • The ability to successfully communicate with Artists, Designers and Sound Engineers.
  • Strong general computer skills and experience
  • Working knowledge of C/C++.
  • Working knowledge of assembly language.
  • Deep understanding of game code design.
  • A desire and ability to understand and optimize the development workflow across all disciplines.
  • The ability to write code for any aspect of a game.
  • Hands-on knowledge of basic game design and implementation.
  • Deep understanding of gaming industry hardware and software trends.
  • Possess up-to-date console product knowledge including technical submission requirements and knowledge of build distribution.
  • Able to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • A strong desire to write game code.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 4 years of experience as a Programmer/Software Engineer in the gaming industry or an equivalent combination of education and practical work experience.
  • Must have experience in Programming/Software Design on at least 1 shipping game product from beginning to end.
  • Must have prior management/leadership training and/or experience.

Purpose of the job

As one of ourPlayer Support Advocates, you will be an ambassador for our brand and your role will be to provide 1st line Technical and Customer support to our clients’ customers. You should be calm, technically minded, and have a pro-active and positive "can do" attitude. Your goal will be to make the customer journey as seamless as possible.

 

Position in the organization

The successful candidate will be part of the existing team within the Player Support department.

Duties and key responsibilities

  • Ensuring customers' queries are answered with the aim of a first-time resolution and ensuring all responses are provided with excellent attention to detail, care, and professionalism.
  • Ensuring queries are responded to within our agreed response times and that all customer communications are dealt with to provide solutions as a priority.
  • Resolving all technical issues raised by customers by carrying out fault finding analysis and offering appropriate solutions that resolve the customers issue. Although the majority of the role is based on non-voice communications, you will be trained and expected to communicate with customers via telephone (call backs for example).
  • You will communicate effectively while working within a dynamic team structure with individual and shared team objectives. It is your responsibility as a team member to ensure the best customer care experience is given to all customers.
  • Maintaining a world class, dedicated service, focused on exceptional responses and excellent quality.
  • Working with your colleagues across the wider customer community to identify any trends in any customer queries.

Knowledge, experience and skills

  • Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Self-motivated, a proactive attitude with the ability to work productively and collaboratively within a team.
  • A logical, methodical approach with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent observation and attention to detail skills with patience, perseverance, and good concentration.
  • Experience in playing consoles and or PC gaming.
  • Be comfortable discussing technical faults/issues relating to game consoles/PCs.
  • Experience of someone IT literate, with a tech-savvy mind, or comes from a technical IT PC support background.
  • Our Advocates must be able to multi-task, ensuring an amazing-accurate service is provided 100% of the time.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area would be an advantage.

Additional information

Flexibility to work unsociable hours to mirror 9am-6pm PST

 

PC requirements:

  • An internet speed minimum of 10 Mb/s download and 1.7 Mb/s upload internationally.
  • A minimum of 4 GB RAM memory.
  • Your computer should run at least a 64-bit version of Windows 10 or newer or a recently released version of macOS.
  • An i5 processor (2,4 GHz or faster), or better/ similar, max. 3 years old.
  • A screen with at least a 1080p Full HD display. External monitors are acceptable.
  • A (smart)phone usable for two-factor authentication that runs at least:
  • Android 9 or newer.
  • Apple iOS 15 or newer.
  • Your own Webcam, Headset and Laptop/PC.
  • Your own separate and private working area with a comfortable table and chair.

The individual will be a dynamic and highly motivated manager who can cultivate and build relationships easily. Your role will be fully accountable for ensuring all company principles and procedures are adhered to, including managing all operational aspects and personal development of your agents.

 

The ideal candidate will be engaging, personable, enthusiastic and results-orientated with an eye for detail, who is committed to delivering excellent customer service through the development of their team

 

You will work with our existing Team Leaders across the wider CX Community, including Account Managers to develop, support and ultimately grow your campaign.

 

What you’ll be doing

Responsible for the delivery of your assigned departments SLAs, ensuring that all compliance, commercial and efficiency targets are met or exceeded.

  • Managing agent and team performance versus KPI’s/targets.
  • Providing guidance and coaching feedback and development plans for your team.
  • Responsible for the full people management cycle of your team.
  • Responsible for working proactively and constructively with other company stakeholders to establish and maintain department compliance, performance, policies and procedures whilst shaping a 'can do' culture.
  • A key part of your role will be to carry out analysis of the campaign in liaison and

conjunction with other Team Leaders, identifying key areas for development and gathering intelligence.

 

 

  • What we’re looking for
  • Previous Supervisory/Team Leader/Manager experience preferably within an outsourced or contact centre environment.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets through building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to forecast campaign opportunities.
  • Confidence, enthusiasm and energy
