Role:

The Academic Advisor and Program Administrator will provide student advising and support to students enrolled in the Quantic School of Business and Technology and Valar Institute. This may include degree-seeking and Executive Education certificate students enrolled in programs focusing on business and technical subject areas. This position is a key contact point for both degree-seeking and certificate students and requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for student success. 

Additionally, this position will manage the daily operations of a specialized certificate program, the Valar Leadership Accelerator (VLA). VLA is a management skill and leadership development certificate program for aspiring leaders and early-career managers. This position will be responsible for administering the VLA program, including cohort management, participant support, progress tracking, and communication with sponsors to ensure a seamless and impactful learning experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Academic Advising

  • Advise degree-seeking and Executive Education Certificate students on study skill improvement, time management, and program requirements for graduation.
  • Track metrics related to student progress and develop new interventions to improve degree and certificate student retention and graduation rates.
  • Identify and conduct initial outreach to students who have fallen behind academically.
  • Provide counsel to students on academic probation and suspension.
  • Develop individualized success plans for students and follow up with students regularly.
  • Engage with departmental and organizational initiatives to track and conduct outreach to at-risk students.
  • Create and conduct presentations to students regarding program requirements, expectations, study skills, and techniques during new student orientation.
  • Provide workshops to students on relevant advising topics upon registration and throughout the program.

VLA Program Management

  • Coordinate all aspects of the Valar Leadership Accelerator (VLA), including administrative and account setup, scheduling, and workshop and orientation logistics.
  • Track participant progress weekly, generating reports and targeted communications for students and sponsors, including tailored outreach to students based on academic performance.
  • Manage certification and completion processes, issuing credentials, updating sponsors, and compiling engagement and survey data to drive continuous program improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of academic counseling experience in postsecondary education;
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent in Communications, Social Work, or related field;
  • Excellent listening and communication (both oral and written) skills, especially in situations requiring sensitivity and empathy;
  • Self-directed and detail oriented, with an aptitude for creative problem solving;
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, track progress, and coordinate tasks across multiple programs;
  • Proficient with Google Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of academic advising experience for a post-graduate program;
  • Prior experience supporting students enrolled in business and technical programs;
  • Master’s or equivalent in Higher Education, Social Work, Business, technical or related fields;
  • Knowledge of best practices for tracking student metrics;
  • Experience working with international students;
  • Experience facilitating virtual sessions such as program orientations or workshops;
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management tools, such as HelpScout;
  • Proficiency with data tracking and reporting tools, such as Airtable

The Role
Quantic School of Business & Technology is seeking a Student Event and Engagement Coordinator to join our team on a temporary, remote basis (until June 30th, 2025). This role will involve planning and executing global events for MBA and EMBA students and alumni over the upcoming months. These events include 100-person conferences in cities worldwide, intimate networking meetups, and virtual webinars.

This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, cultural intelligence, attention to detail, and a passion for creating impactful student experiences. Experience hosting both in-person and virtual events is essential.

This role at a leading educational technology company offers a unique opportunity to foster community and networking among our student body. Primary responsibilities will focus on end-to-end event management, engagement initiative support, and post-event metrics reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate and manage in-person events, such as conferences, meetups, and excursions for remote MBA and EMBA students, focusing on high-impact engagements.
  • Host and facilitate in-person and virtual events, such as webinars, mixers, and study groups, with students across the globe.
  • Work with others in the organization and collaborate with student engagement participants to design, promote, and execute events internally and externally.
  • Ensure the continuity of existing engagement programs and processes and adapt those processes when appropriate and necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; high-energy and personable
  • Ability to manage event budgets, prioritize tasks, and work independently within a remote environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Zoom, Calendly, Cvent, Slack, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), and LinkedIn

Quantic School Current Openings is hiring a Remote Subject Matter Expert - Marketing (Remote, Ad Hoc/Part-Time Contractor)

Quantic School of Business and Technology is looking for a subject matter expert in Marketing to support online EMBA, MBA and CMO Certificate students in understanding Marketing-related content. 

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will draw on their PhD level education and experience, as well as a review of Quantic’s Marketing content to provide students with asynchronous, accessible explanations of content and key concepts.  They may also be called upon to advise revision of current and upcoming Marketing content. 

This is a fully remote, part-time, 1099 contractor position involving roughly 6 hours per week for the first 3 months. The number of hours per week may increase if the contract is renewed. The starting hourly rate for this position begins at $20, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for students who have questions about the Marketing course on the EMBA and MBA programs, and students pursuing the CMO Certificate;
  • Be able to respond to asynchronous questions within 48 hours. 
  •  Serve as an expert resource for instructional designers and writers; and
  •  Collaborate with the full time Faculty and/or instructional design team on course content, reviewing lessons in our platform, answering any questions and advising the implementation of any suggestions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in Marketing or a closely related field. Note that this is a requirement of the position. 
  • Expert understanding of Marketing ideally stemming from a combination of graduate-level education and 5+ years of industry experience in the field.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Patience and a willingness to answer questions and help ensure student needs are met and all lessons meet our quality standards.
  • Excellent and timely communication skills, including providing schedule availability.
