We’re looking for an experienced Communications Lead to own the next phase of our strategy and growth for how we elevate Webflow’s story and how we bring it to market – be it about our company, thought leadership, product, customers, and more.

This highly strategic role will be responsible for shaping and delivering the company’s narrative, managing external communications, overseeing media relations, crisis communications, and brand reputation as we scale globally. In this role, you will partner with our executives, product marketing, social, and brand marketing teams to develop communication strategies that support key brand moments and product launches, driving share of voice across key media partners and publications, and amplifying Webflow’s narrative.

    • Zone B: $152,000 - $212,500
    • Zone C: $143,000 - $199,000

  • Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing

As a Communications Lead, you’ll … 

  • Partner with our executives, customers, investors, and other leaders at Webflow to develop key narratives we want to bring to market, secure buy-in from leadership on comms strategy, and activate it across all earned and owned media channels.
  • Oversee and execute all aspects of Webflow's communications strategy, including developing and implementing external communication plans, coordinating media relations, and collaborating with internal comms to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Lead external press relations and executive communications, managing external PR agencies and collaborating with the internal communications team to build a high-performing team of exceptional communicators.
  • Develop and maintain lasting relationships with key business and tech media to ensure they understand Webflow’s unique position as the leading Website Experience Platform (WXP).
  • Advise the executive team on communications strategy and thought leadership opportunities, preparing them to maximize opportunities, including media interviews and public engagements (e.g., keynotes, podcasts, etc.).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and other departments, to amplify and extend the reach of our biggest campaigns and company milestones.

About you:

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of combined experience in communications, PR, and/or brand leadership roles. 
  • Strong understanding of the technology industry and ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.

  • Analyze and transform complex datasets to generate actionable GTM insights through queries and advanced analytical tools

  • Build and maintain Webflow’s internal design system and related entities, including (but not limited to): Component UI library, usage guidelines & documentation, icons, Storybook, and styling system

As a Senior Group Product Manager, you will:

  • Define and drive the vision for Webflow’s Developer Platform, integrating customer feedback and market insights to guide the development of APIs, SDKs, and integrations.

  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship across your customer’s organization, from Executive Sponsors to day-to-day contacts, that works to ensure customers are getting value from our products and services.
