Account Manager Core Competencies

Account Manager-Specific Tasks and Duties

• Maintain customer SOPs.

System & Tools & Account Administration

• Proper Customer Organization structure in CRM following the company's global standards.

• Set the right expectations internally as well as externally with the customers.

• Ensuring global visibility and collaboration across Expeditors network (Strategic updates, KPls, service deliverables, initiatives, etc.)

• Initiate value-added solutions based on Expeditors service offerings and technology.

Development

• Pursue a larger global wallet share with all customers, while promoting up and cross selling with all customers at all locations.
• Collaborate with the various departments and branches through regular meetings and joint calls to promote existing and new service offerings at all locations.
• Ownership, accountability, and ongoing management of global pipeline and opportunities to ensure a healthy growth potential and faster business closure.
• Promote Expeditors marketing activities and customer events.
• Schedule regional & international travel when necessary to address global business need and growth potential.
• Continuous review of customers revenue report and analysis aimed at identifying “at risk” customers and negative trends.

Physical Demands

Qualifications

Expeditors is seeking a motivated and well-qualified attorney with at least three (3) years of experience practicing law in a law firm or the corporate legal department of a global corporation to support the Transactions practice group.  The position will assist with complex legal matters, advising Expeditors’ internal clients on legal implications and risk exposures involved in commercial transactions and privacy matters across multiple geographies.

As a Commercial Contracts Attorney, you will support the global Legal Department in representing the company’s best interests in transactions matters; interactions with commercial customers; contract negotiations; and other opportunities.  Day-to-day, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial service contracts and other commercial documents, confidentiality agreements, as well as the privacy-related aspects of other agreements including consulting agreements, and information technology-related license documents.

In addition, the position will provide routine support on bankruptcy matters, secured credit issues, corporate entity management, litigation management and other general legal questions from various business teams globally.  A successful candidate must be able to effectively manage multiple matters with different priorities at the same time.

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:

• A law degree and a professional license/authorization to practice law in Mexico and/or another jurisdiction within the Americas region, in good standing.
• Fluency in both English and in Spanish is required. Nearly all written communications are conducted in English. Professional level competency in Portuguese is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry (preferred but not required).
• Strong experience in commercial and privacy law.
• Contract drafting and negotiation experience.
• The ability to identify, analyze, assess, and communicate legal risks to enable internal clients to make quality, risk-adjusted business decisions.
• Impeccable integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness and an appropriate initiative and work ethic.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for the development, implementation, execution, and administration of the Ground Network Services Gateway operations in Hostivice and all connected domestic and international line hauls.

Main Responsibilities:

• Strategic analysis of the ground transportation marketplace, competitors, suppliers, and trends
• Supporting and maintaining ground linehaul routings, schedules, and network development
• Supporting linehaul procurement, service provider contracts and statements of work
• Responsible for ground network service performance, key performance indicators and ad hoc capacity
• Identify potential capacity constraints in the scheduled network
• Responsible for establishing linehaul budgets and strategies to attain targets
• Create and maintain internal costing models for cross product development 

Qualifications

Expectations:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a ground network operation developing / managing linehual transportation
• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics or similar field or equivalent required preferred
• Global Logistics Industry knowledge
• Hazardous materials certification (preferred)

Responsabilidades clave:

Qualifications

Para ser el mas efectivo en esta posicion, estamos buscando las siguientes habilidades y experiencia:

• Educacion: Licenciatura en Aduana Mexicana (preferentemente) / Comercio Exterior o su equivalente en educacion y experiencia.
• Experiencia en despacho de aduana mexicana (preferentemente).
