About the Job

The Manager of Data and Generative AI Operations plays a pivotal role at OpenSesame, a leader in e-learning solutions. This role is responsible for overseeing the operational management and strategic deployment of data analysis and generative AI technologies to enhance the company's product offerings and operational efficiency. The Manager will lead initiatives to leverage data-driven decision-making and implement cutting-edge AI tools to propel OpenSesame towards its mission of developing the world's most productive and admired workforces.

Performance Objectives

In your first 90 days, you will be ramping upand working to understand the needs and opportunities of the analytics team as well as forming a plan for rollout of analytics and GAI tools company-wide. You will develop this plan in collaboration with management and begin executing that plan with your team.

  • People
    • Establish strong relationships with your team as well as internal stakeholders to understand their needs and how data and AI can support their objectives.
  • Process
    • Lead cross-departmental collaboration to ensure alignment of data and AI initiatives with broader organizational goals.
  • Product
    • Level up the data platform to include all data sources necessary for the department champions to build custom GPTs without having to worry if their data is available.

Within 6 months, your GAI efforts will be well-underway with multiple productivity enhancements implemented and delivering significant business value. You will have established yourself as a trusted expert within the company. You will have made connections with stakeholders across the organization.

About the Job

We are seeking a strong, organized IS leader who wants to take an existing helpdesk and sysadmin organization to the next level. The ideal candidate will have strong coaching capabilities to help mentor and grow their team. The coaching will be paired with the creation, nourishment, and evolution of processes for these teams under the mentorship of your director.

Performance Objectives:

In your first 90 days, you will be getting the lay of the land with both your teams and OpenSesame.

  • People:
    • Form rapport with team members and get to know them.

The Team 

Come join our Curation Team and help build programs that address each OpenSesame customer’s unique training needs. As the Certificate Program Manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to enhance our library of accredited training content. You’ll work cross-functionally with several departments at OpenSesame to build programs that support learners in achieving their continuing education and certification goals. By combining creativity, strategic planning, and research, you’ll help to enhance OpenSesame’s curated course catalog by aligning training to globally recognized certificate programs.

Position Overview 

  • Serve as an internal and external expert on our certification and continuing education (CE) course offering, developing a deep understanding of the OpenSesame marketplace and offerings as well as the broader continuing education landscape.
  • On a daily basis, you will work with our Sales and CSM teams to identify customer needs and prioritize our content roadmap as it relates to certifications and continuing education credits.
  • Serve as an internal and external expert on our certificate course offering, developing a deep understanding of the OpenSesame marketplace and offerings to help map the right courses to ensure customer success.
  • Act as the publisher’s primary point of contact within OpenSesame, often to triage or coordinate internal teams and efforts to support and maintain a strong ongoing publisher relationship.
  • Identify opportunities to build certificate programs around current learning paths in order to drive value within the OpenSesame catalog.
  • Work with the catalog management team to maintain documentation and metadata, including marketing information to keep customers and prospects well informed of our CE and certification course offerings. 
  • Regularly communicate with your portfolio of publishers to maintain and increase engagement across the OpenSesame publisher community.

Performance Objectives

  • 30 days from now you have a comprehensive understanding of the OpenSesame curation process and catalog. You can identify our customers’ needs and see where curation fits into the customer journey.
  • After 60 days, you have established yourself as the internal and external expert on OpenSesame’s certificate course offering. You skillfully navigate the OpenSesame catalog on a daily basis and have identified specific opportunities for growth within the certification category.
  • After 90 days, you have established relationships with at least 5 OpenSesame publishers and have developed a plan to build 1 new certificate track that will add value to the OpenSesame catalog and support learners in their professional development.
  • 120 days from now, you have begun to build out a library of resources to support both internal and external customers in navigating OpenSesame’s certification catalog. You are the publisher’s primary point of contact within OpenSesame, and coordinate internal efforts to support and maintain strong ongoing publisher relationships.
  • After 6 months, you will have performed sales and customer success training to enable our staff to accurately convey the CE and certifications available to them, including documentation for key CE governing bodies such as PMI, HRCI, NASBA, etc. 
  • Within your first year, you have built strong relationships with 10 or more publishers, and you are consistently receiving positive feedback from customers and internal stakeholders. You partner with both publishers and customers to identify opportunities for certificate program development and build resources to help market those programs.
  • 18 months from now you are a go-to resource on the team for all questions related to OpenSesame’s certification catalog and general certificate training requirements. You think strategically about curation, and identify opportunities for developing programs that will help customers curate at scale. You are a trusted expert for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Two years from now you are promoted to Sr. Program Manager after having built a reputation of excellence with publishers, customers, and OpenSesame teammates.

Position Overview 

As a Revenue Enablement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales success and overall revenue growth. The Team

Position Overview

The Strategic Partner Manager develops, maintains, and expands relationships with named strategic partners. Several partners will be assigned with specific revenue and lead generation targets.

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel across the partner organization in each assigned partner account.

  • In your first 30 days, you will have developed a business plan for your partner portfolio, including strategies and tactics to achieve your partner bookings goal.
  • Within 60 days of hire, the SPM will have developed partner business plans designed to meet revenue targets for assigned partners.
  • At the end of 60 days, you will have had introductory calls with each partner in your portfolio and will have scheduled recurring meetings and QBRs with each partner

Position Overview 

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to help sell a new solution. You will work with and learn from established entrepreneurs within a stable company. In this job, you will work with the Career Exploration product and engineering team, as well as sales, customer success, support and implementation. You will be reporting directly to the GM of CourseCloud and Career Nav, a fast growing business unit working with the CEO, President and cross collaborating with departmental VPs. You will help build OpenSesame from the emerging leader in enterprise business training to the clear, worldwide leader for the future of learning. 

Specifically, you will help lead the sales and market development of course delivery in the flow of work, personalized learning and career mapping, resulting in a solution that your customers will love.   • Opportunity Qualification Impact: Within the initial 30 days, your ability to identify and expand opportunities for our existing customers has significantly enhanced our sales pipeline quality and conversion rates. Your collaboration with the CSM team has pinpointed our ideal prospects, making a notable difference.
  • Pilot Success: Your work over the first 60 days to baseline our pilot program’s conversion metrics and revenue projections, and your strategies to improve these rates, have set a strong foundation for our pilot programs’ future success.
  • Customer Engagement Excellence: Going above and beyond in engaging with our prospects, offering them in-depth responses and additional demos within your first 60 days. Your efforts have elevated our customer interactions beyond our standard sales follow-ups.
