The Role

Addepar’s marketing team continues to grow, and we hope you’ll join us on this journey! We are looking for an experienced event manager that strives for flawless event execution. This role will assist with planning and executing events in support of the team’s goals and overall growth of the Addepar events portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a high degree of creativity, strategic mentality and the ability to level up events, combining business needs and actioning opportunities for engagement with clients and prospects. The ideal candidate is passionate about all aspects of marketing and events and will push creative boundaries and execute events flawlessly. No job or event is too big or small.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $78,000 - $123,000 (base salary)  + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all aspects of end-to-end planning and execution of hosted and third-party events and sponsorships
  • Own event planning, including logistics, sourcing, contracts, vendor relationships, branding, communications, budgets, reporting and invoicing
  • Establish key performance indicators and develop process for analyzing event success
  • Evaluate post-event success and identify areas for growth and improvement
  • Coordinate internal briefing documents and timelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent strategy and messaging across all event efforts

Who You Are

  • 5-7+ years of experience in events and/or field marketing
  • Strong understanding of financial services trends, regulations, and market dynamics
  • Experience managing budgets and forecasting spend
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and able to solve problems seamlessly
  • Knowledge of SFDC, Marketo and On24 preferred

They are responsible for working cross-functionally (Sales leadership, Digital and Web Marketing, Campaigns, Corp Comms, and Marketing Ops) to build ABM programs that align to specific account objectives and key executive engagement. In this role, you will also work with our ADR and Sales teams to design, build, implement, measure, and optimize custom, account-centric programs through multiple verticals and industries.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive and own the development of a global ABM strategy, processes, and execution

  • Employ a data-driven approach to develop 1:1 and 1: few programs

  • Analyze target accounts to determine the optimal tactical mix; this includes digital, events, social media, and anything else you’ve seen work in the past

  • Customize marketing assets and develop initiatives that align with the customer needs, personas, and sales-buying stage

  • Partner with Sales to implement ABM into account-level pipeline generation plans, develop and maintain comprehensive account profiles and target personas, and develop account and contact-level insights to enrich accounts

  • Execute programs, measure results, and use data to adjust and optimize future results

  • Monitor and analyze performance through to qualified pipeline, using the data to adjust and optimize future outcomes and results

  • Build “ABM as a service” programs that can be executed where appropriate at a geo or regional level by Field Marketing

  • Partner with Marketing Ops to build ABM campaign reporting

  • Coordinate with GTM Programs and Product Marketing to create quarterly ABM Campaign Calendar

  • Work with the Demand Gen Campaigns team to coordinate messaging across email, ad and social channels

  • Ability to work cross-functionally to serve as virtual team lead

  • Proven organizational skills and ability to set up workflow systems and processes

What will you need to have?

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in marketing with B2B technology companies

  • 7+ years of hands-on, ABM experience (preferably in B2B and security)

  • Proven track record of planning and executing high-performing, detail-intensive campaigns

  • Working knowledge of marketing channels and how/when to activate each

  • You are creative with a curious mind, always looking to learn new things, and never afraid to ask questions

  • Experience with tools like 6Sense, Google, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Marketo, Drift, DOMO and Salesforce

  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at the same time

  • You are metrics-driven (and like looking at the data!) and aren’t afraid to dig into Excel to build and share out reporting

  • Salesforce chops to be able to build dashboards is a nice to have

  • Hands-on experience working directly with Customer Success, Senior Sales Leadership, Account Executives, and ADR/SDR Teams

In this role, you will: 

  • Define customer and digital data collection, management and usage strategy to enable Samsara’s marketing and sales programs.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage customer and product data, and build data products and pipelines that enable scalable and impactful go-to-market activities.
  • Partner with the go-to-market stakeholders to build and manage data product roadmap. Own delivery against the roadmap from requirements definition to completion in collaboration with the Marketing Data and Analytics team, and the internal and external data and technology partners.
  • Document business scenarios, customer journeys and expected outcomes mapped to requisite data and automation capabilities solutions.
  • Act as subject matter expert with business stakeholders on internal data, technical processes and solution approaches.  
  • Suggest and enhance processes for team operations to drive team productivity and cross-functional collaboration.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience working with data engineering and analytics teams to spearhead and deliver cross-functional data initiatives.
  • 4+ years of experience building complex data products and capabilities across Marketing, Sales or Customer Success programs.
  • Solid understanding of cloud data platforms, reporting systems and predictive analytics.
  • Excellent program management and organization skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to succinctly communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and executives.
  • Ability to collaborate and drive cross-team technical negotiations.
  • Familiarity with customer, marketing and/or web data.

Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy:Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles.  For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually. 

We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.

The Americas Field and Channel Marketing Specialist will support the team in planning, organizing, and executing events and marketing programs that generate new prospects, demand, and advance existing opportunities for the sales team both directly and with our reseller and technology partners. This role will execute and measure marketing plans and lead generation programs in support of the regions.
This position reports to the Senior Director, Americas Field and Channel Marketing and collaborates closely with individuals across the marketing teams from integrated campaigns, corporate marketing, PR, AR, creative, social, field and partner marketing, product marketing, and marketing operations.

Roles/Responsibilities:
Work in collaboration with the Americas Field and Channel Regional Marketing Managers to support tradeshows, events, programs, and special projects as assigned.
  • Coordinate and support:
    • live and virtual events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement.
    • event planning meetings, take notes and actions items, send out information, send out status reports.
    • event timelines, agendas, resources, budget, and processes. 
  • Support the full cycle of event logistics including but not limited to arranging for tradeshow services, freight, signage, demos, product displays, collateral, raffles and other services/purchase as needed ensuring all are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate event staffing, schedules and hotels.
  • Work directly or with 3rd party companies to secure venues for events.
  • Update and maintain event specific information, tracking and reporting spreadsheets and websites.
  • Work with vendors, e.g. exhibit house, promotional, printing, audio/visual, etc. to ensure timely, cost-effective execution.
  • Work with marketing leadership, finance and accounts payable from securing budget and vendor onboarding through invoice payment and with legal department for contract review.
  • Maintain expenses, process purchase orders, invoices and reconcile event-related budget items, ensure department compliance with established standard policies.
  • Support the execution, wrap up, and follow-up for events as needed, ability to travel if required.
 
Knowledge and Skills:
·       Excellent organizational, communication, and collaborative skills to work independently and in a team environment and manage projects with many moving parts.
·       Initiative-taking and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
·       Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget.
·       Flexible and able to shift strategies and tactics when required.
·       Detail-oriented, well organized, efficient with time management.

The base salary compensation range targeted for this role based out of Gigamon's Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office is $83,000 - $103,500, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to terms and conditions of the plan).
